Him saying it's been about 5 years since he was daily vlogging makes me realize I haven't watched Casey daily for about 5 years now. The time has come and gone, but Casey is still here for us. I've watched all your 800 days of vlogging for years and what I've learned is that there's so many unpredictable moments you've created without any force. The enjoyment of creating non-stop without any restrictions. It's not for everyone but it is a pioneer inspiration to open the gates of vlogging as a genre. Thanks Casey for opening that pioneer trend to video genre.

I watched all of your daily vlogs back then, and they actually inspired me to try making RUclips videos. The one time I tried making daily vlogs I got sick by day 15 just from the intense amount of work and time they took. So props to you for having the stamina and being able to do 800 of them!
What did you end up doing? I’ve looked into daily vlogging too but it seems like people aren’t interested in that anymore unless you’re already big. Kills the motivation.
After watching your channel for YEARS, I still haven't really decided why exactly your content is so compelling. But it truly is! Keep it coming Casey.
Man I miss those days. I feel like I completely got to know you as a person; which is crazy because we live 3000 miles apart. I came to NYC in 2019 and did loads of cool things. But my favourite thing was walking down broadway trying to spot your studio. Which I eventually did! Thanks for the energy it took to make those videos, and thanks for the memories. I’ll be here for life. X
So helpful to see your take on this. Daily videos are tough and once you hit the 40’s you’re spot on. All the same experiences and questions happening right now.
So glad you're back, Sir - and even gladder that you're approaching it in a more healthy, sustainable, mature way. How could you not though, really? All part of living a life and resisting the urge to not learn from it.
Casey I would never wish daily vlogging again upon you because I know how much it took from you at the end. But I’d love you to know that your daily blogs got me through the most difficult period of my life, my last semester of undergrad. I was so burned out and had no idea how to cope at the time, but your inspirational messages always picked me up every single time without fail. I appreciate you so much ❤
Truly appreciate the whole video. The whole thing was awesome content! You did exactly what you summed up in the end. Less introspective more observation. I appreciate it! I've been inspired!
Thanks for the fun video! Those drone shots looks so beautiful! I miss that! And we saw a lot of drones footage in your daily vlogs! And the fun things i like was to find drones that crasht! Especially the parrot drones with different colour props! Love that video!😁😁👍
This video just shows that authenticity is more important than the best camera, stabilization, lights, etc. Casey is still Casey after 800 days of vlogging and he still gets the views!
I got to say, I LOVE your content! I haven't watched everything you have put out by any means but I love the simplicity of your vlogs. Very inspiring to see how you "just get it done"!
I remember stumbling onto one of your vlogs just before you started your daily vlogs, getting hooked and absolutely loving every single episode of them! Hard to believe that was 5 or so years ago that it ended! Still and will always be the best youtuber out there!
Thx Casey. We are here and ready for this chapter. I love your videos since beginning..... and your podcast with Candice was awesome. I am listening it till to these days.
I like the balance that You, Van and Wranglerstar all have with regards to family... the kids are kept out for their privacy, and yet we know they exist, and that's enough context to tell stories.
It was how you made it so non repetitive and managed to film and edit and release without fail. That was crazy man. I started 5 years ago and struggled with one a week with a full time job and family, kids.... its nuts man. I now post ad hoc and a lot less stressful. But a lot more difficult to coax enthusiasm, energy and direction to film on each occurance. Great to see you posting adhoc dude. Was well missed.
I remember your daily vlogs being one of the highlights of the day. Coming home from school every day and watching your videos. Thank you for that time Casey
I’m so glad you are back in the city bro - I love that you are sharing it all with us - whatever u touch turns to hold and we are just along for the ride !!!
Exactly! I'd love to know exactly what those days were like from beginning to end, how he managed and scheduled and used his time, how he was able to live such a life AND film it all AND edit it ... EVERY SINGLE DAY. I can't even begin to fathom how there's enough time!
I suspect you can get faster with more practice like with anything. You can also organize the way you record the content with a plan for your story. That can cut down on the time it takes to organize after. For me the longest part has been music selection. I feel like I need to put on the music catalog all day to sample it so I know what could be good with a video. But matching the right music to the moment is hard because it will make or break the video.
Hey Matt, I’m the completely opposite!! I realized my vlogs wouldn’t get done if I don’t shoot, edit and upload all from my iPhone. It’s working well so far… just finished my 30th. But that’s interesting how everyone has their workflow.
@@offwhitemke Totally get it, I am in the wine niche and I have to go through lots of interviews and chop down 10 minutes of one down into 60-90 seconds... and sometimes it's not in perfect English so I have to edit to make it clear... Music takes a long time for me too.
I want to buy a boosted board after watching these videos. And then realize they’re longer a company. I love seeing videos like these, Casey! I couldn’t imagine making a video every day for 800 days straight.
new channel that started 2 months ago - I dropped out of school and a job I hated to try and make this channel, sharing what I love (cooking and storytelling) with the world. Your advice is amazing. You inspire me.
I inhaled each and every Vlog and can say that it does not matter too much what exactly you deal with in the vlogs. I've always loved the ones where easy is just Casey talking about something he's dealing with at the moment. Being a new Skateboard or the fact that the bikelane isn't clearly marked. To sum up: Please do what you do best; conveying a super nice dude who loves his craft as an artist! Love
Casey is one of my inspirations for me filming every day of my life. I filmed the last 1000 days in some capacity (not in a vlog format) and I have 2 terrabytes of video. I do it just to remember, to document change, to make little films in between the chaos we call life. I found that living for the video is not the way to go. Life goes on, film is secondary to mental health and real-life relationships. But it's fun to be able to pull any day and say _that_ is where I was as a person and as a creative.
@@JuKoHD I like to look back. sometimes I can make a video using a video using footage from a while ago to tell a story. It's like how Casey can pull up videos he has recorded from even before the daily-vlog era, like the HBO series and archives from the past

Glad youre taking the time to enjoy both time with the family and working. The daily vlogs were so much fun but my god i can only imagine the grind. I was happy to hear I have at least 3 more years to figure it out lol. Little by little every day. And WELCOME back to NY
As an editor/videographer I couldn’t imagine everyday for 800 days! It takes me weeks to accomplish my videos for DOD and I am spent after that. So a big kudos sir! I love your editing style and transitions thank you for being you!
I found you many years ago and I remember when your snow storm video went viral and I was so excited for you. I was randomly reminded of you and I came to rewatch vlogs because I still don’t know how you kept up. This was such an awesome video to come across.
You freaking saint. Thank you for helping the dog. I agree, though, I would be in shambles if my dogs were in that situation. And I would be so unbelievably thankful for people like you and those who helped. But also, thank you for the excellent video around the heroic rescue!
Those 800 days were one of my lowest points during my undergrad, all isolated in the hostel! One of the best things that I looked forward to was your daily Casey! It has left a mark on me, I have cherished NYC and wished for being there! You made it all possible, through your stories! You are different man, there is something about you, that we all have an emotional connect I guess! Glad to see you back in the city, love to see the city again, almost daily now! Thanks a ton CASEY!
seeing you more and more again on here has me feeling like an old friends is back. an old friend I missed seeing but life went on. now that you are back, it's such a clear reminder of how much I missed seeing you and your content. all of us here that have been following you since the early days sure know to appreciate all you've done Casey.
I've learned from you so much over the past years! You inspire people and you show me every video what passion, creativity and enjoying the life and make the best out of it means. Thank you Casey To the next 800 videos (not daily ;D)
I remember when I accidentally discovered one of your yt vid in the march 2020-just when the pandemic started. Imagine how amazing it was to just soak in all of your content then!! So glad you’re back in NY. Sending hugs!🫶🏼
Your daily vlogs were a massive inspiration. I loved the down-to-earth and constant level of the content. The personal stuff made them real. Looking forward to whatever is next.
That's a lot of uploading, Casey, I'm impressed! I just landed in NYC for the week. Maybe I'll see you flying around the streets when I'm here. Keep up the awesome work!
📌 Nice video, love how you take your time to educate your viewers. as we learn we also need to earn . I created the mindset to invest my savings now I have made profits over $120k Right now and still making more , I am enjoying a good life with what I made investing. Indeed ‚building a Portfolio income (investing) through a licensed investment adviser is one out of many ways to earn passive income.
No magic in trading having a strategy that ensures profit is the best you can do and that’s not for novice, lost over $17k trading with bad strategy but with the help of an expert Harry Martins I have recovered losses and even made more. The crypto markets is the future and many doesn't know about it , so sad
Energy is palpable during this new NYC run, as a huge fan from back in the day, and now too, couldn't be more excited to have you back enjoying the city and youtube.
Watching Casey now and his retrospective outlook is like when you see actors watch and review films they have been in. Love the new style of content very refreshing to watch!
That hits pretty deep, actually. And it's a dilemma a lot of youtubers run into I imagine. How much of your life is your life, and how much of it is "hey, i'll do this for youtube...". I think you're taking a pretty healthy approach to it- and for better or worse, you can look back on your channel and see your growth, which is pretty cool! And something a lot of folks don't have. As someone who has memory issues, i've forgotten a lot of my experiences and memories, and it's so frustrating when people go "hey, do you remember....?" and I don't! Or to have a family member pass away and not be able to remember my time with them.
Hi Casey, you are the reason I changed my style of vlogging, and I know what it's like to want to capture every moment of my life. I still do that but now everything is on Tiktok. Also, your bit about trying to get the dog on your skateboard in NYC was gold.
All your vlogs are insane and have inspired me to start vlogging myself. The process has been fun and one day I’ll be able to look back at my own channels growth ❤
I can't believe 5 years have passed since you stopped daily vlogs! I repeated that moment for several times to make sure I heard it right. Because I remember those times of everyday watching your videos as it was yesterday! I've changed myself a lot since then. And your videos were a great inspiration for me. The longer I live the more I am mesmerized with a thing: ALL THE GREAT THINGS WERE BUILT WITH THE HANDS OF SIMPLE MEN YOU CAN MEET ON THE STREET. Because since my childhood I thought that it's someone of great powers and wisdom has made everything. No. Right the opposite. It's just PERSISTENCE and EXPERIENCE make people great. As simple as that. Have a great day, the one who read it till the end! ;)
Good to see you defining the vlogging experience. So many folks seem to get burned out. I tried, but found that it detracted from my real life project that I was working on. Great insights. I wish you the best,
And that trajectory of those 800 videos is how you broke through so the world can see your amazing content. There is a plethora of awesome content creators on RUclips, that's lost under the bottom of the grand iceberg of the algorithm that no one sees until they consistently make videos without stopping and eventually break through.
I am happy you did that Casey. There was everyday a new story, a new episode and it was fun, and you know, I did learn a lot from that too. Thanks mate and as usua: nice one. Cheers
We love your videos (yes, I speak for everyone). You sacrificed enormously to bring us daily videos and we're all happy that you've found an acceptable balance. Thank you. Thank you too for helping take care of the little lost dog. Oh god, worst feeling in the world to have your little sweetheart get away from you like that. Good man!
I think without knowing it you've summed up what it is to grow up. That, what you are doing now, is creating - not only documenting in a creative way. Also, what you're doing now is leaving a legacy - of a legend - for your kiddos. Respect, man!
Casey you are a legend on this platform and even though you are not vlogging daily anymore, you are still one of the biggest inspirations! Key takeaway for me: Creating gives you a purpose every day. I am just getting back into that and it feels great. Just great.
I think what you are doing now it's the perfect balance of what people loved of the vlogs and what you can do without being absent of your private life. Thanks for being here
Love this video! Just yesterday I was contemplating the differences between creating "content" vs making art. Sometimes even in my moments alone, I feel pressure to develop a documentary of my life for others to consume rather than just for me to enjoy. Searching for clarity of purpose is a great way to put it.
@casey, thanks for your video. You don't need to force to create content. The simple fact that you like to share something with your audience is enough. Whether it's outbursts, ideas, concerns or anything else! YOU know how to do it better than anyone else! Thank you

I remember your daily vlogs being one of the highlights of the day. Coming home from school every day and watching your videos. Thank you for that time Casey
I’m so glad you are back in the city bro - I love that you are sharing it all with us - whatever u touch turns to hold and we are just along for the ride !!!
I still have NO IDEA how you did it. When I do the highest quality VLOGs possible (for me), it takes me a month to edit one. So much RESPECT
Exactly! I'd love to know exactly what those days were like from beginning to end, how he managed and scheduled and used his time, how he was able to live such a life AND film it all AND edit it ... EVERY SINGLE DAY. I can't even begin to fathom how there's enough time!
Does Casey take the help of editors?
So you Film it just for yourself? That sounds so cool
@@JuKoHD I like to look back. sometimes I can make a video using a video using footage from a while ago to tell a story. It's like how Casey can pull up videos he has recorded from even before the daily-vlog era, like the HBO series and archives from the past
only 2tb?!?
@@JoshThrives around 2gb per video is reasonable.
APPARENTLY WITH THESE BLKS AND JOULLLS....ITS JUST A MOVIE....THEY'RE JUST WORDS....ITS JUST A JOKE....UNLESS IT STARTS BEING ABOUT THEM ...THEN ITS, ITS ANTISEM...ITS RCIST...
YALL AINT SEE THE SELECTIVE HYPOCRISY WITH THESE PEOPLE????
I loved your vlogs & looked forward to them every single day…bring ‘em back (or something like it) if you can. I’m just glad you’re back in NYC & checking in w/all of us❤👏🏼
the crazy thing is no matter how often you upload, it is always that same quality video we love!
I loved the daily vlogs. I watched them every day and it was a very welcome distraction from a tough part of my life. Thank you Casey.
Glad youre taking the time to enjoy both time with the family and working. The daily vlogs were so much fun but my god i can only imagine the grind. I was happy to hear I have at least 3 more years to figure it out lol. Little by little every day. And WELCOME back to NY
Glad you're moving onto the next thing. A true artist ALWAYS evolves in search of the new. Good on you man!

I can’t believe i’ve watched all of those 800 days of insane uploading.. 800 days! Enjoyed every day of it too! Thank you Casey 🙏

Thank you Casey
To the next 800 videos (not daily ;D)
I remember when I accidentally discovered one of your yt vid in the march 2020-just when the pandemic started. Imagine how amazing it was to just soak in all of your content then!! So glad you’re back in NY. Sending hugs!🫶🏼
watching your vlogs has been a masterclass in editing, story structure, and how to seamlessly transition through the video, love it.

I always feel inspired watching your videos. Glad you're back in NYC
I hope you get to see him!
I agree 800 uploads in 800 days in incredible!

800 days requires a HUGE amount of commitment. You honed your skills and now you can do it better than almost anyone, and at your own pace.
This is film making. Different angles, music, and shots that had to be planned and thought out. Thanks for the inspiration.
Watching Casey now and his retrospective outlook is like when you see actors watch and review films they have been in. Love the new style of content very refreshing to watch!
Such an interesting perspective in this video. Looking outwards and enjoying your production is a great outlook. Thanks Casey
Damn those transitions were so clean, I had to go back so many times just to catch them all. Inspiration on another level.
This was such a great video. Deep, introspective and real . Also I love your studio, dope spot.
Have a great day, the one who read it till the end! ;)
I could not believe it either… mindblown! 🤯
Good to see you defining the vlogging experience. So many folks seem to get burned out. I tried, but found that it detracted from my real life project that I was working on. Great insights. I wish you the best,
You inspire so much, to be creative in our own way. Thank you! God Bless!
HOW YOU DID IT will always baffle me but it is absolutely amazing. Your quality and resiliency to get through it is unmatched
Cheers
I love the way you tell stories and I’ve enjoyed all of your vlogs! I’m excited for this iteration of your channel!!
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 you have been selected among my shortlisted winners...👆👆 Telegram to claim your prize 🎁🎁
Casey you actually make my day when you upload, the aliveness i feel when watching is hard to describe, but thats why we're all here :)
Good man!
I missed your vlogs….so glad you’re back. It was such a treat each day to watch what you were doing.🥰🥰🥰😥
Casey, Your honesty is what makes great this yt channel!
800 days! Amazing! Such an inspiration Casey😎✌️
Man, this hits so much, I think about filming everything I do, and it kind of really takes away from being present.
Searching for clarity of purpose is a great way to put it.
much respect, the shots and edits on this video are nuts
Love your stuff Casey!
I think I'd have lost my mind trying to do 800 days of vlogging in a row... It's been so long I forgot just how many you did! Crazy!
Love the perspective. Love the insight. Keep being you, keep the passion
Casey coming in and throwing the skateboard on the floor. Awesome!!! If he doesn’t do this I won’t what happened to him. 😂 love your work mate. Cheers
@casey, thanks for your video.
You don't need to force to create content. The simple fact that you like to share something with your audience is enough. Whether it's outbursts, ideas, concerns or anything else! YOU know how to do it better than anyone else!
Thank you
The vlogs was such a big part of my day back then.
Absolutely the first thing, i did everyday i got home from work.
Such a vibe!
