  • Hi everyone!! In today's video we are checking out one of our favorite events when in O'AHU HAWAI'I. We're checking a NIGHT MARKET and if you've seen our videos, these NIGHT MARKETS are packed with SO MANY CHOICES of delicious EATS as well as handmade CRAFTS. It's called the NIGHT MARKET AT PEARL AT KALAUAO (formally known as PEARL COUNTRY CLUB) and it's located in AIEA HI. It's 15 mins north of the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL). Check out our video to see the variety of vendors that NIGHT MARKET CENTRAL is showcasing for locals and visitors and see everything we tried plus the locally handmade crafts.

Aloha Michelle & Jose! Oh my goodness that mochi looks amazing. Both of them. The colors are so pretty too! I love ube, haupia and kulolo so I'd eat all of them up. The sushi handrolls looked amazing with the torched salmon and the cream cheese. It's good to see Asian Flavors still around. They used to be at Ohana Hale Marketplace and then Pearlridge. I live near there and still haven't been. They've been closed for months doing renovations it seems. I can hear them digging up something everyday. Hopefully they reopen soon! Since you're Sony fans like me, do you film in S-LOG and color correct or use the default color option?

Aloha Misty!! The mochi from Bake You a Smile was amazing and the flavor combos she puts together…just ono!! Ilea’s Kitchen is also at Kaka’ako Farmers Market regularly. We just never got a chance to try them bc we’re so full on other eats. This night market was the first time we saw Asian Flavors and we enjoyed it. The country club is closed for renovations but Night Market Central who hosts the market is picking back up later this month with events again. Not sure if the inside will have vendors but definitely the parking lot. Since it’s there in Aiea definitely stop and check it out!! Easy drive back home. In regards to filming, we do default since S-LOG is a bigger file and more to edit for color correction especially since we film in 4K. Hope that helps!! Let us know if you have other Sony questions!! Have a great week ahead!!

@@michellejosefoodandtravel Nice to know that they will have events soon! Every time I pass by the gates are closed to the parking lot. Hopefully I will be off when it is up an running again! Thanks for the Sony advice. I do S-LOG sometimes, but it never comes out the way I want, even with LUTS. I like your colors even though it is default!

@@FoodFiendwe tried testing S-LOG out to see if it was something we wanted to do but once we did a trial run…we obviously chose not to. We do make some color edits during post editing to enhance some clips a little more so there’s that too!!
