I have a 2021 Tag XL boondock and I love it. Mine does have the diamond plated fenders and box on the front. I am glad I got the cl instead of the standard one. That 1 foot does help out with storage. They are easy to tow with my Subaru outback.
That’d be a good question to hit NuCamp up with. They’re pretty responsive. I don’t believe a T@G XL model without a microwave is an option they put together for dealerships, but they might do a one-off build like that if contacted directly with the question. They’ll still have you work with your local dealership to complete the purchase, but the initial conversation might get a good start by going straight to their customer support services.
Thanks for the quick reply. If I go with a tag xl I could always just remove it. I think it would be a great option to have that space as a storage compartment since most of my camping is dry camping anyways.
I am sure you are handy enough to bolt on a pad lock and a hasp. Something found on a hardware aisle of many stores. Furthermore, I am sure you will add more items on your own to make this camper yours.
I don't understand why the.side walls are inboard of the wheels. You'd get a whole lot .more interior space (width) if the wheel arches were inside and below the bed level.
This design is for several reasons. One is stability for towing. The other benefit is blowout protection. Should a blowout occur the trailer benefits from the stability issue, and damage to the living quarters is reduced as well. Blowouts are incredibly powerful, and with that wheel well either recessed into the body or under the unit can cause serious damage, and initiate a rollover.
And a California king is 72"x84" so the bed is by no means a standard king, but it's closer to a king than a queen, which is 60"x80". It's essentially a short California king.
I like this thing but if I could change anything I would make room for an outdoor grill. I would use that more than the oven or the luggage storage. I would put in a bigger TV and put in a spot for my PS4, a few games and two controllers. I don't like the AC does not work without an outlet. Women with money often times are the same ones with hot flashes. And I hate the bed. It looks uncomfortable, lol. Other than that it's cute as a button for the price.
Appears next to the 125 volt outlet that shelf is just large enough to nail/screw a larger shelf support for a PS4 game console. Surely you are handy enough. You will most likely make other DIY changes...
These trailers cost almost as much as my truck. And sorry, but all of the stuff they've included in this thing -- the microwave, the air conditioner, etc -- mean YOU ARE NOT "CAMPING" ANYMORE. Might as well stay in a hotel.
I would love this camper to use on the Adriatics (Croatia coast). Belive me, AC is most welcome. This is a perfect camper for me, has everything a family with a small kid would need + I could tow it with my Honda Civic Tourer. But its pretty expensive as J Kaufman pointed out ... plus its not for sale in the EU. Even if I would get it somehow, I would also need to do something about the electricity (110 -> 220). But its a lovely trailer.

I love the way she acts like she knows what she's talking about.
Thank you! I inherited this same trailer and learned a lot about it. Great presentation and voice!
I like that she also describes things in a way wives can understand because ultimately SHE will be who decides to buy it or not .
So enjoyable....and informative......and a beautiful presenter.....

Thanks for the perception of clint.
Great information you do a nice job explaining everything thanks
Awesome saleslady does a awesome job 😊👍👍
This is a wonderful little camper. Thank you for a great walk thru. What model year is this?
I really like this camper. Thank you for showing it.
Microwave also requires shore power.
Yep! Thanks!
One question that was not covered and is not in the specs on their website. Does the trailer have a furnace? They seem to go right by this question...
I'll take it only if Clint comes with it...yum LOL .
Can I get a tag xl without the microwave?

Very nice trailer. Well thought out features. Not a fan of the windows.....to close a window at night your gonna have a trailer full of bugs.
That's why you use the screen feature
FYI - the battery and propane department does not have a locking feature.

Please design a wheelchair accessible version.
I prefer a lower microwave. My wife does not have to use a stool to remove hot items and it is much safer.

These smaller teardrop designs try to remain at least a little true to the traditional teardrops that first appeared in the 1930s.

does the big window in the front come with shade and screen?
yes it does, she demonstrates that at 16:40
what is the price rang on the tag xl
What’s the price for the standard tag and the XL?
Is there any heat in the trailer or no
At the time of this video, the Tag did not have heat, it it does now! Check out the new 2022 TAG! It’s cool!
Do you have this version but with bigger doors
That isn’t an option from the manufacturer.
Bed Area: 70-inch x 78-inch (King)
That is NOT a King Bed. A King is 76 by 80 inches...

Also realize if you're at a RV park, they have outdoor grills there. A bit of cleaning is necessary if you're going to use them though.

wow, you are observant, what is your point?
@@jubjon i think his point is that you're not "camping" anymore using one of these trailers and might as well stay in a hotel. i think.
