- In the movie The Expendables, Jason Statham protects the woman he loves from a bully and his friends. They should have known when he approached multiple opponents that something's not right. The fight was short but sweet, showing elements of boxing, and self defense systems, possibly Krav Maga.

He wasn't around, was constantly not telling her what he was doing, etc. There are a lot of military guys who struggle to keep a relationship working because they aren't around to put enough in. And this is one of the reasons why the first Jack Reacher movie is better than The Expendables: there, Jack tells the group that once the fight starts two guys will bail. Here? @@ceckolalovia I practice Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. A real street fight does not look at all like that. It's not that easy for a single man to beat 5, in real life they will not wait for their turn to fight you. That's why experienced fighters avoid a street fight at all costs, they're usually very impredictable and things can go wrong VERY fast. Life its not a movie, my friend.
@@luisfelipe6368 exactly, I would also like to practice martial arts specially Taekwondo and Muay Thai but then I think what is the point of practicing it because when it comes to self defense it’s hard to apply those moves because in street fights people jump on you and throw punches like crazy and once you start beating your opponent all his friends jump in on you and it sucks because sometimes you have no back up. So that’s why is better to stay away from fights even if you know some type of martial arts
