Say what you will about Seagal, there was a time when he was one of the biggest action stars on the planet. He had a good run until about the mid to late 90s.
The guy who plays Richie Mandano's brother, Vinnie Mandano would later go on to play Christipher Moltisanti'a friend, Brendon Filone in season 1 of 'The Sopranos'. I believe his name is Anthony DeSando & if you look it up, you'll see him. It's hard to believe that he would end up on 'The Sopranos', 8 years later & on top of that, he's literally unrecognizable because of how he looks in 'The Sopranos' compared to 'Out For Justice' & vice-versa. Speaking of 'The Sopranos', another actor who's featured in this movie would later be cast for that show, as well: Dominic Chianese, Sr. portrays Mr. Mandano in 'Out For Justice' & as we all know, he would go on to play Uncle Junior on 'The Sopranos'.

Seagal was one of the best action film actors of the 1990's. Don't know why people hate on him so much. Like what's the difference between this and Roadhouse, same corny acting from the 90's. Even Bruce Willis was corny.
Steven Seagal is one of the best action actor stats in Hollywood history. He has a black belt in aikido, and that is not his most significant achievement. Seagal has helped train CIA agents in Japan: "They saw my abilities, both with martial arts and with the language. You could say that I became an advisor to several CIA agents in the field, and through my friends in the CIA, I met many powerful people and did special works and favors."
This is the best scene Seagal was ever in. And its testament to Seagal's acting skills that the entire scene was stolen by Richie. Who wasn't even in it.
@@watfordgap6737 Imagine being a Hollywood movie star, who writes, makes and stars in his own movies, but in a scene with just him, and a phone booth in it, the phone booth steals the scene. Or the binoculars. Or the ever present huge 70s medallion. Or whatever. Sensi Seagal has many, many obvious and pathological faults, but one of his qualities is that he always allows other, lesser known actors (Phone Booth, Binos, etc) to shine. Its almost as if he underplays his own parts, just so some F list nobody like Luke Goss can get his moment in the spotlight too. So generous. So selfless. We do not deserve this man.

I remember watching the premier in New York City's Times Square in 1991. Almost the whole cast was their including Steven Seagal. They didn't sell enough tickets and they wanted to fill every seat. Of Course I said yes. There were no cell phones back then so I couldn't text or call my girlfriend. I sat in an aisle seat right behind Jerry Orbach who also played Investigator Lennie Briscoe on "Law and Order" RIP. Seagal sat in the row behind me in a middle seat. When Seagal fought "Sticks" the theater went ape shit. Everyone was hooting, shouting and applauding. I looked back at Seagal and he had a huge smile on his face. My girlfriend was pissed because I stood her up. She never forgave me and I didn't care. BUT IT WAS STEVEN SEAGAL!!! Is what I kept saying LOL!

@@tangrine16 You must be chained up in Seagal's basement😂
Yeah, I had a similar reaction.
Seagal was one of the best action film actors of the 1990's. Don't know why people hate on him so much. Like what's the difference between this and Roadhouse, same corny acting from the 90's. Even Bruce Willis was corny.
Legend has it, he's in Russia right now still looking for Richie. 🤣
"Who's hot dog is this, is that yours?" LOOOOOOOOL
E K im dead 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It was Richie's hot dog!
It was " Nick the dicks" hot dog!
WTF?! LOL
It belonged to Buns, a friend of Sticks.
“Mother fucker, you knocked my teeth out “ one of the best lines in movie cinema !
:))))))))))))))
And so clearly said despite just having his teeth knocked out
I agree on the teeth being knocked out alone he should’ve been made right then right there!
Rapper Action Bronson even uses the thing in one of his tracks. 😀
Yah but then he comes back for more
Fun fact: I've seen Richie but I ain't tellin'
That was a very emotional scene, I cried my eyes out at the end when he couldn’t find Richie…
It’s 2020 and I still haven’t seen an action sequence quite like this one.
This is timeless....
Yeah timeless bad lol.
Justin McDonald - samey same same.
they don't make em like this anymore
Raid my friend
@@supertarzan12 Those guys from The Raid would mop the floor with Seagal.
Life lesson: When you see 15 guys get their arses kicked right in front of you, don’t become number 16.
David Loverich Anybody know why they did Eddie Lupo for not wearing a mask?
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 15 or more times, shame on me.
:-D
David L. Or 17
Ha ha! Yes. Something most bad guys in groups seem to never learn.
You can say what ever you want about him but the guy was an inspiration for many who started martial arts in the 90.
This is the best scene Seagal was ever in. And its testament to Seagal's acting skills that the entire scene was stolen by Richie. Who wasn't even in it.
He wasn't as interesting as the telephone booth though.
@@nodiggity9472 precisely and I have got to admit I admired the cue balls.
Smooth performance with great sound track
Actually the fatty sitting at the bar stole the scene he never got hit once. He musta been a boss.
@@nodiggity9472 Steven Seagal actually made a film with Luke Goss in South Africa.
This never gets old 😂
Yeah it’s a weekly watch for me lol
It's so cringey it's actually brilliant 😱😂😂
Steven Seagull is one bad ass person. Who knows how to fight.
ME
It's the tail end of 2023, and I'm gonna keep comin back, until sombody....rumembas seein' Richie.
Plot twist: the phonebooth guy was about to tell him where Richie was.
NICE!!!🤣🤣🤣🏆🔥🔥
💀💀💀
Lmao, deceased...........
He was actually on the phone to Richie lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣awesome
Seagal's acting is surprisingly on point here.
Yeah he got to act tough and hit people fr, he loves to rough up actors
@@shakeynigehuh almost like it’s a movie
Only, he's not acting...
@@darksaintxvi6914 he was refering to the fact that steven often hit people forreal and smashed their face into real glass. no respect for the people he worked with. in other words he was a real asshole because he was bigger then most he acted with.
Yea this is the best I’ve seen him act lmao
Back when he was in his prime in his early prime he was a real bad ass I loved his early movies
I was meeting my friend Ritchie in a bar last year, I opened the door and yelled, anybody seen Ritchie!!
My favorite part is that guy getting shoved back into the phonebooth multiple times. Seagal should have had a line for that, like "Go call Ritchie". LoL
That dude was trying to tell him.
We should start a movement #gocallrichie calling for the studio to release a new version with the line, "go call Richie" edited into that scene. Who is with me?

I remember watching the premier in New York City's Times Square in 1991. Almost the whole cast was their including Steven Seagal. I just happened to be walking by the theater on my way to meet my girlfriend when I was asked If I wanted to see the movie for free. Is what I kept saying LOL!
dope memory. thanks for sharing.
You made the right decision :) cool story too would have been great to see the movie with them all there.
Fucking legend!
Now that is a good NYC story. Better than most.
great
I lived on 19 Ave in bensonhurst when this movie came out.I fondly remember the opening scene on 18 ave near the f train station
In those days, these streets were filled with wiseguys, yeah? It stars Benny Books, a real-life actor who was with the Colombo family
I wonder is there anyone out there that likes this guy ?
What really made me laugh was when he pushed the guy back into the phone booth again 😂 savage.
He's like "Get the fuck back in there".
Best part of the movie.
hahahaaa, yeah , that killed me too...
He was like "that's the place you belong to" 😁
It’s the cherry on top of a perfectly farcical sequence.
Legend says... He is still coming to bars for Richie
he's coming for the cheese dip - fat bastard
I actually read that on a bar bathroom wall one night in Cincinnati around 30 years ago. I believe I actually laughed. Good stuff. :o) "Anybody seen Richie!?!?" You just don't forget things like that. lol
Richie Aprile
The greatest scene in the history of cinema!
Long time I haven't watched this clip! 😂
This is Steven Seagal's average night out; a lot of fun to be around.
haha thats funny
"Has anybody seen Kevin?" 😄
The best Steven Seagal scene ever
That doesn't say much.
Oh, never mind. Since I am not a professional actor, Stephen Seagal is not a cheeseball who plays roles in really stupid movies.
This thread drew in some absolute morons. What a surprise.
