Then the bad dude's don't take that chance and it's the last thing they ever do and it's awesome just how easily he takes them down too and entirely justified too.
Robert in all 3 movies not once went to go look for trouble. He was trying to put his past behind him and just live a normal life like everyone else. All 3 movies were so wonderful at adding such small "touches" to scenes. One of several in this one to show how little the young "kid" knew. Any professional would have realized the fact that Denzel didn't seem nervous or scared even though he should have been would have been a red flag that he was not just some average joe or tough guy want to be. Compare this to the scene of Denzel and the main bad guy from the first movie in the restaurant. You can tell the bad guy is not afraid of him BUT obviously realizes he is a professional and respects him and knows to take him seriously. The writing in all three movies is so well thought out.
