Eden's Crush was an American girl group who were created on the American television series Popstars which aired on AOL Time Warner's WB. The group was formed in early 2001 and consisted of Ana Maria Lombo, Ivette Sosa, Maile Misajon, Nicole Scherzinger and Rosanna Tavarez.
Hundreds of girls competed to become pop stars in early 2000 on the TV series Popstars, produced by David Foster. The group was narrowed down to five finalists, Ivette Sosa, Maile Misajon, Ana Maria Lombo, Nicole Scherzinger and Rosanna Tavarez, over several prime time episodes. Warner Bros./Sire Records signed the group to a recording contract before the band was named or had finalized its membership, due to the hours of network television exposure the group would receive.[2]
The group's debut single, "Get Over Yourself" topped the Canadian Singles Chart and peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. "Love This Way" was released as promotional singles in some radio stations. Their album Popstars was certified gold, and peaked at number 6 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The group also guest starred as themselves on the television show Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. Also in 2001 they played as a support act on some dates for *NSYNC's Pop Odyssey Tour and Jessica Simpson's DreamChaser Tour and they also went on tour with Play.[3] At the end of 2002, their record company, London-Sire Records, folded and the group eventually disbanded.
Nicole Scherzinger ended up being in The Pussycat Dolls.

Rewatching this now: i wuld not have picked the 5 they picked based on voices. Id have kept ana marie but curtesha, petegay, christina petty, chanda & chaeza shuda made the group !!!!! Idk so many of them had better voices i love me sum edens crush but the other girls sounded better 😩
I also love how its edited straight to the point no dragging out tension of whos picked !!
It's so obvious that this is exactly the group if we're going just based on pure unique talent. I like the girls of EC but they all had pretty but generic voices, even Nicole S who has a beautiful voice is generic compared to all the ladies you mentioned. But we all why none of them made it.
So many contemporary acts out now need this kinda vocal training.....
These Ladies should be very proud of themselves because they were 26 out of 2300 Girls. Alexandra's problem was that she wanted it but she didn't want to do the Hard Work. I told The UK Fans about her and they were so disgusted with her attitude, even when she reauditioned she messed it up not only for herself but her group.

You should watch Popstars: The Rivals from The UK in 2002. The Three Judges Geri Haliwell (The Spice Girls), Louis Walsh (The Father Of The Boy Band Movement) who created Boyzone & Westlife, who did Duets with Diana Ross & Mariah Carey and Pete Waterman who in the 1980's along with his Partners Matthew Stock & Matt Aitken were a successful Songwriting Trio who worked with a lot of Top UK Pop Stars from Steps who were at one point the Biggest Co-Ed Group in The UK, Rick Astley, Princess, Dead Or Alive and Banarama who were the first Girl Group from The UK to go to Number One in The US, who kicked the Door open for every UK Girl Group that came after them from The All Saints, Spice Girls as well as The UK Popstars Girls Aloud. Simon Cowell used to follow Pete around like a Punk. Two Of The Girls Nadine Coyle & Sarah Harding had a hard time dancing but they worked hard and showed that they could be in the Group. Ironically Cheryl Ann Tweedy worked with Nicole on The X Factor US, but got fired but had Two Proteges and a Runner Up who did well for themselves. David Foster was a Teddybear if Simon Cowell was there he would have scared some of them so badly they would ask to leave.
