Metal pen tips review:
• Can metal pen tips scr...
I ordered them and they have arrived today. First of all, just the noise makes it better; with the hard ones I always felt I could damage the screen by mistake, the soft ones feel like it should have always been made this way. It offers a bit more resistance, not a lot more, but enough to feel more control. My artstyle uses linework, so I really appreciate the extra bit of control it offers. Thank you very much for this, I didn’t want to spend 50 euros for the “pen tips” ones 😊
Exactly the info I was looking for, thanks for taking the time to share this
Glad it was helpful!
thanks for the suggestion! ordered a set and now I just need to wait
how did they come out? have you faced any problem?
I use my iPad more for text but i would love to have more resistance. The feeling is really not so well with the original tip In my opinion. But I'll give it a try..
For writing, you want to write fast. Silicone tip with more resistance makes you write slow.
Can you give update how the silicone pen tip is with writing, because I also don’t like the feeling of the original
@@nedich2002 The update is in my previous comment above. Anyway, it's $2. You won't waste much money even if you don't like it.
@@nedich2002 I will as soon as I receive the tips. I actually don't know when this will be. It could take a while. It could also be that I won't receive it at all as with Ali there's always the risk you don't receive your orders..
@@kindasporthey did you recieve it? How was it?
I don't want to use the paperlike screen, so what do you recommend to take notes only for writing?
Ordered them so excited
Great tip! Thanks!
I see what you did there!
Thank you! Is there any difference to line quality compared to the original, like wobble?
There’s no performance difference
Very useful information, thank you for the review. Could I ask if you’re using any screen protection, besides the mentioned matte removable one?
I don't use screen protectors anymore. Just got use to not using one
What screen protector do you use and recommend teoh? For drawing/linework of course.
Will this work on the new apple pencil pro?
Yes
Great info to share! I do have a matte screen protector on my Pro but it's great to know there are great generic tip replacements of both textures for each situation!!
How long would these last?
Are you still usin it? have you faced any problem yet?
No, it works really well. And if it doesn't, it's just $2.
@@teohontech7141 I mean, have you been using it this whole time? Im really wanting to buy them, but Im afraid they do something to my apple pencil, as an apple pencil is really expensive in my country...

:p Doctor Who fan as well. Nice reference
thanks- i'm a decades old cartoonist learning ipad drawing. what is the art program you use? i love the look of the palette in the upper left of your screen. the procreate palettes seem so removed from the art as i'm drawing. thx- jd
I use Concepts app. It's a very different workflow than Procreate. Another app you can try is Medibang Pro or Medibang Paint.
Use the rubber pen tips for note taking. Do not write fast if you can only produce chicken-scratch. Write slowly, legibly, and neatly with the rubber pen tip.
Which tip you’ve ever used is the best to stop that annoying sound of the Apple Pencil hitting the screen and for note taking? Is that one with the black needle tip in the other video comparing various tips?
The silicone one shown in this video is the best
Thanks for the review. How long do these silicon tips last?
Seems to last long. Anyway they are $2 only
非常务实的test, 十分感谢
Does IPad 9th Gen still have a better price to performance ratio than Android when it comes to drawing?
Depends on where you are from (Im from EU and samsungs are much more expensive than in US) , but yeah its a gold value per dollar, still just check out Androids too.
@@senzation01 ipad 9th gen over here is just midrange android. I want to upgrade to pro for more ram so i get more layer in procreate but wonder if android can give a better value.
Ok, I will try it. Order passed.
i use the pain mainly for note taking. Am I better with the Round metal tip, or the standard apple pen tips?
The only advantage of metal tip is it doesn't wear down. But I personally prefer the plastic tip because of the dampening tapping down which isn't as striking compared to metal against glass, unless you have a screen protector.
For writing, do not get the silicone tip which has resistance. When you write, you want to write fast, hence get a tip without resistance, e.g. the usual plastic tip.
When should you replace the pen tip on Apple Pencil?
When the round tip is no longer round
Hey I have a matte paperfeel screenguard, will silicon or metal tips be better for smoother lines while drawing?
The usual plastic tip will feel better on matte screen protector.
Hey, I've tried this 2B pen nib on glass, but it kinda doesn't work when I do longer strokes. I think, it's because my screen gets dust particles and that stops me from drawing. Do you have a tip for that, like do you clean your ipad screen with microfiber cloth or something before drawing and how do you keep the screen clean?
It’s likely because the pen tip wasn’t well made. I have used one that will draw broken lines but when swapped with another, it draws normally.
@@teohontech7141 Well yeah I guess I can't expect much from aliexpress. I ordered some more to try, hope they are well made.
Great video. for taking notes which tips are the best?
The normal plastic tips which are smooth. Because when writing you want to write fast.
@@teohontech7141 thanks
Hi, what app do you use to draw ?😊
It seems to be "Concepts".
Is the app on iPad or Samsung ?
@@Dreambig607 It supports both of them, Samsung and iPad. :)
I am wondering what app you use to draw ✍🏼?
Your link is dead. Thanks for the video!
Still working for me

Buddy Are you also the seller from china 🤣🤣🤣
I'm not. Just putting this info out so that people can save money rather than by $20 silicone pen tips from the sponsored videos they watch.
