Don't take gamespot seriously. They gave walking simulator from Kojima a 9. Messed backward leftist with no taste. Those companies like gamespot, IGN etc. are partially responsible for falling quality of games. They praise bullshit (probably get paid on side for that) and discard good games.
My 2021 Review After beating the game and 100% the game with my record time is 20H 38M. Okay let start should you buy this…depends. It’s good but never great. Which is really surprising cuz it looks amazing but it’s flat and I mean FLAT thru out the whole game. It never reaches epic cool moments you just explore new places which is neat and collect hidden Gems 💎 which was my fav part to figure out how to get them. The bosses range from okay-easy-to straight bad and not bad as in too hard naw it was just done lazy. They will give you no hints or clue to fight back or counter in half of them and you have to do a try & error process which is frustrating and lazy on them. The second half geez they put two of the worse bosses back to back and the mechanics in those fight are why there so bad. Music is okay but never reaches full charm and Goo-Luigi as a Coop game is like giving a your baby brother the second controller without it being plug in. They can still help and it can be fun but It’s pretty weak and doesn’t really need Coop. It would make it probably 10x more easier and the Coop puzzle where meh. Overall the game a 7/10 and it can’t go higher than that or in a number tier a Solid B- (Honestly a C+ in some parts). There way more better games and I wish the game was a 9/10 and an A+ tier game( crazy if it was a S tier) but it isn’t. Now the story is very generic save your friends(again ugh) and find the missing buttons in the elevator to continue THAT IT. I wish it was Luigi and Daisy going to a hotel with friends and Luigi had to save his girl (which is half cannon) GIVE DAISY SOMETHING TO DO! It’s Luigi story so having Daisy in it would’ve made me happy and maybe actually have a story around them maybe she got possessed and lured Luigi and now trap but he has save her and once he does King Boo come in like it’s not hard! All while Mario trying to save peach someone else Geezzzzzz I’m done
Yeah, what's happening is that they are stealth review bombing this game by not giving it the score or deserves which is atleast a 9. It also prevents it from going up on metacritic. Theres several people calling it game of the year, and one guy said hes even willing to put it up there with breath of the wild and super mario odyssey.
@@mr_m4613 no way this game is gunna compare to either one of those games...looks fun but repetitive as hell,no upgrades, and the currency is basically useless.
It sounds like it's more of the same, which I am quite fond of. The first one was my favorite and the only thing I didn't like was how short it was, and I remember liking the game more than the critics at the time. I saw an article that said it took you guys 18 hours to beat LM3, getting most of the collectibles?? That's pretty abysmal for a $60 game. Seems like it has the same issue as the first game...damn. That settles that then. I'll be getting Persona 5: The Royal on Oct 31st instead. Likely will pick this up when I get through my backlog.
Uh why is 18 hours considered a short game now? Also, it is beyond frustrating to hear people value a game based on length. That is not how video games or the industry works. You should value a game based on quality, not hours. I've played plenty of 10 hour games that earn their 60 dollars far more than artificially padded out games. Are you saying that Luigi Mansion 3 needs to be a 60 hour game to earn the high price? That is ridiculous, not only because this game isn't an RPG open world, but because the devs have worked hard and long enough to earn the right to value their game at that price. Sorry about the rant. I just feel like this whole hours=value thing needs to die, and is plain unfair to those who put their lives on hold making these games.
@@MTopola Yet Gamespot's rep has made me question their reviewers before... although this reviewer for Luigi's Mansion 3 isn't one of those I'm referring to.
I agree its atleast a 9. I've heard people call this game a pure masterpiece, their game of the year and that it's just as good as breath of the wild and super mario odyssey
Potentially true. But I've had more fun with this game so far than I have with a game in a very long time. If you skip out because its kid-friendly then you're missing out on a great experience.
Apparently you've never played nintendo game. This are pinnacles of gaming experience. No lootboxes, no pseudoart, no lgbt agendas, no forced multiplayer. This are the most fun games existing. Pure fun gameplay. They seem like interactive cartoons even more than Ratchet and Clank.
100toonlink It’s a beat ‘me up that is heavily influenced by Persona. You play as a teenage girl that can travel through dimensions. Very anime, I believe cel-shaded. Just heard about this game yesterday. Hoping it sells well cause they even have a great physical edition. $40 digital/$50 digital.
I'm not really into indie games but I have a huge amount of third party games on Switch, the only indie games I've ever really enjoyed are Slain Back From Hell, Salt and Sanctuary and Blasphemous.
100toonlink No prob. I just stumbled upon the game yesterday and thought people should know about it. Would get lost with Lugi Mansion and then Pokémon in the horizon.
Helvete Ulver It’s more of AA game. Published by PQube. I understand it’s not a very widely know publisher nor are the developers JFI Games/JERA. It’s rare for me to pick up indies too. Still hate to see some lesser known titles go under the radar.
This is game honestly sounds mediocre like Dark Moon. You're fighting the same enemy types the entire game and call enemies can be easily defeated using the slam technique. Not also there is nothing to spend your coins on besides extra lives and items that have you locate hidden objects. I'll wait for a sale for this game due to lack a repeatability and no vacuum upgrades.

@@netweed09 yeah I didn't like Oddssey much either, I found it dull, I finished it and that was pretty much it, I am enjoying LM3 alot and I really am gonna hit the online hard tonight too
I don't care what the score is as long as it's that good. Any game that's an 8 or over of an score of an game that's great is fine by me. Or sometimes an 7.
Mmmmm, ooooo, an 8 eh?
I was maybe expecting a step higher. Wonder if they've got that stored away for another upcoming game soon? Nice review though!
Don't take gamespot seriously. They gave walking simulator from Kojima a 9. Messed backward leftist with no taste. Those companies like gamespot, IGN etc. are partially responsible for falling quality of games. They praise bullshit (probably get paid on side for that) and discard good games.
@@cor.tenebrarum Is an 8 not a good score? I loved this game and I agree with the review I'm always confused when people think an 8 isn't good
So Many Cute Ghost!!! I Watched Full Walkthrough of this Cute Game!!! So Magnificent One 👻👻👻
Seems too involved and actiony compared to the original
She did no other thing than flattering the game and then drops an average the score. I mean WTF ??
I don't think 8/10 is an average score.
Only thing I'm not going to like about this is not being able to invert the up and down controls. I'm a back to front player lol
My 2021 Review
After beating the game and 100% the game with my record time is 20H 38M.
All while Mario trying to save peach someone else Geezzzzzz
I’m done
Who's Kevin
Me
The controls are terrible making gameplay harder than it has to be sometimes.
0:41 Did Luigi just say "Holy Sh*t"?
Now I can't unhear it, lmao
Happy birthday to me....I got it today 👌👌👌
No Y axis invert? 0/10
love scenario
At least a 9, everybody knows this.
8+1.. or even 9.5
Calm down guys. It ain’t no last of us 2
@@TheAbz2037 you're right, it'll be better than the last of us 2😎
@@mr_m4613 no way this game is gunna compare to either one of those games...looks fun but repetitive as hell,no upgrades, and the currency is basically useless.
I'm surprised they didn't call this "Luigi's Hotel".
Wait..her name is Kevin? Wtf..
are you serious right now?
Really? Kevin is a unisex name
Shes transgender
You guys are being dumb, it says on the video that she is narrating it, she didn't wright
the review. She isn't Kevin.
Such a good game not fckued up by micro transactions.Nintendo rulez!
How does it perform in handheld mode?
Julian Korn perfect, not a big diference frome TV mode
Wait for digital foundry
Just played at least the first two hours handheld. Great, no problems. Battery just runs out slightly faster than some other games though.
Wich console is it avilable
Hrvoje Tonkovac I think the Atari 2600
@@stevenramirez4133 thanks
Nintendo Switch only
Ghost slam ripped from ghost busters game, just saying..
Sorry to disappoint you , but on the 31st the Japanese version of persona 5 will be released, as for the western release i think it will be next year
@@scorpionxq8y T.T damnit well it's better than finding out the day of I suppose. Thanks for the tip.
@@josephjoe4180 Thank you, I'm sick of everyone having that mindset nowadays.
seriously 8? it deserves more than that
You haven't played it. The reviewer has. I trust their opinion over yours.
Then create your own review site for us to ignore
@@MTopola Yet Gamespot's rep has made me question their reviewers before... although this reviewer for Luigi's Mansion 3 isn't one of those I'm referring to.
I agree its atleast a 9. I've heard people call this game a pure masterpiece, their game of the year and that it's just as good as breath of the wild and super mario odyssey
Idk i just feel like this game feels like it’s aim towards little kids
exactly I have the same thought that's why I'm holding back on buying it
Potentially true.
Łowca KureF preach, it’s gaming bliss
You might think so by the opening cutscene, but it gets really deep
Make sure to support Dusk Divers everybody. Don’t just buy Nintendo first party games on the Switch. Show some love to lower tier games.
I dont like the Gooigi feature, looks cheap..
You gonna love it when you play the game, trust me👍🏻
casuals smh
I loved it
You gonna love how they reuse the same 👻 ghost for everything
ROBLOX stick news they don’t, there’s 5 basic ghost types, do some fucking research
Unpopular opinion this game isn’t that good

That's just odd

@@randyrrs7028 ah so a guy gotcha
0:11 69! Nice
A sale on a first party Nintendo Switch game? You'll be waiting a very long time, Zelda hasn't dropped in price yet and neither has Mario Odyssey.
You havent played it, youre just mimicking the game explain review lol
Quit trying to stir up controversy
And the original Luigi's Mansion game isn't?
Shut the fuck up.
Let's talk about how you cannot invert the Y-Axis! A triple A game and I cannot invert the look option. Piss poor job, Nintendo! I had to take my copy back...
Ouch 🤢🤢🤢
