    Re the front stand, i'm pretty sure you are supposed to place the rubbers under the fork leg, with the triangular piece facing downwards, rather than upwards.The way you lifted the bike it seems that they are sitting flush/against the fork lowers whereas they ought to be out of the way

      @@damiondavid536 Cheers mate!! I think I get what you mean… Yeah, looks like I put em upside down. I thought the triangular pieces were to maybe stop the forks from sliding laterally or something…
      Bloody things didn’t come with instructions… Live and learn 😁🤘🏻

    recent subscriber and am loving the bumble blade series. Would highly reccomend an abba stand. I got one for my '98 and it is so much more secure compared to front and rear. and is 100x easier to put on by yourself.

      @@domridgard6652 Thanks for the sub and an really happy you are enjoying the videos of me messing up big time 😅
      My goal is one day to get an Abba Stand… Right now though, and after spending far too much on bikes, I had to go cheap skate and take the risk with these 😁🤘🏻
      Apparently if I spend anymore on the bikes wife is kicking me out and cancelling Christmas 😰

      @@TheBucksBiker-lh2nm know that feeling, just bought a st1100 to use through the winter so i can tuck the blade away. I tried the "I bought it so your more comfortable on the back" but i dont think its worked😅

    I've just got my first bike, and im looking to get something like these. The trouble is, my bike has a single sided swing arm so im thinking about going down the centre lift stands route.

    • @TheBucksBiker-lh2nm

      Well done on your first bike… You could get the rear stand that has the pin that goes into the center of the wheel. Of course that won’t lift the front as well so you would anyway need 2 stands… If you do get the rear spindle type stand remember to get one with the right size pin 🙂

      @TheBucksBiker-lh2nm thank you, I'll have to look into it and decide which will work best...I'm leaning towards the centre lift stands.

      @ I looked at those but as I have an uneven surface (where I work on the bike) I was a little worried! Let me know what you get and how it works on the bike 🙌😊

    I have the same set, except the rear one is for my prism bushings which works great. last time i only used the front one, but this didnt work. nearly crashed my bike ;(

    • @TheBucksBiker-lh2nm
      @TheBucksBiker-lh2nm  2 месяца назад

      Nearly crashed? What happened? Did the stand fail or break? As you can see in the video mine worked quite well. I know that you can't lift the front with the back one being on...

    • @cwimm95i
      @cwimm95i 2 месяца назад +1

      @TheBucksBiker-lh2nm With the rearend liftet, the front one works ok. but without the rear one you cant lift the front because of instability. i tried it more times, but the bike always leans on one side or the steering is to unstable to hold on.

    • @TheBucksBiker-lh2nm
      @TheBucksBiker-lh2nm  2 месяца назад

      @@cwimm95i yes, it's not possible to only lift the front. the rear will slide and tilt. Both together work very well and I was surprised how good they are for the price.

    My new bikes got cotton reels so cheaped out and bought a 27quid stand off ebay for my new bike but was so flimsy i dropped my bike on my other bike so got an ABBA stand much safer.

      @@davejohnson3474 wow.. I hope there was not too much damage. Did the stand actually buckle under the weight of the bike?

      @TheBucksBiker-lh2nm No it was just a really flimsy one tbh
      I have another one but doesn't have bobbin hooks but is alot stronger which i used on a cbr600f4i but the cbr is shorter, not as tall and lighter compared to my gsx-s. Nothing wrong with paddock stands i just found it harder on the gsx

    Just be careful if you try and push the bike back or forward, they have a tendancy to collapse, ask me how I know 🤣
