Arrested, The Oily Rag, and a Million Calorie Doughnut… 🍩🚔🚨
Nice! I’m on a Street Triple and still deciding what to do. Like you, I could get the Arrow slip-on, which looks relatively OEM and has that slightly deeper note, whilst retaining the full induction roar. Or do I go the full-on Growler?!!
I guess it all depends on if you wanna annoy everyone, come home with a headache, and attract the coppers.. If so get a growler 😁 On a serious note I guess it depends if loud outweighs the disadvantage (stated above). As you saw in the video I just don’t need a massive volume for various reasons. That induction makes me smile and I don’t wanna lose it… I also had a 7 hour ride the other day. Can you imagine that with a really loud growler? Would have driven me nuts 😁😅
@ all excellent points. I’ve actually found another slip-on that looks like it’ll fit just about in the middle of the two - Kelpi Customs Moto (Australian) Alpha pipe. Removable baffle, with (apparently) 4 levels of sound control! Extremely good value too and available in stainless or cerakoted black. Decisions, decisions!
@ a sound level for every occasion… That sounds like a brilliant solution. Let me know how that went if you decide to try it mate 😊🤘🏻
Kreiga bags. The bag of dreams and that empties the wallet to purchase
@@512460 I can’t afford one… Mate has one though and loves it 😃
Nice review, Infinity has just opened a new store in Gloucester, I was in there last week and walked out with a new helmet, 😂 great store, brilliant staff. It's at the old Thunder road motorbike dealers 👍👍
My mate did that the other week... Walked in to look at Gloves and walked out with a new Lid! The great thing about Infinity is the vast amount of stock there on display. If you compare to Sportsbike shop that while have everything online have very little in the actual store itself.. Thanks for the comment mate ☺
🤣 not sure about Genius but thanks for the shout out mate 👍
@@AshRowland I’ve asked Santa for my very own AshRowland for Christmas… Failing that I’ll take out AshRowland Breakdown Cover 😁

@@mikehawk9156 probably the best of all time 🤘🏻
Personally I think loud exhausts attract too much attention from police but that is a good looking can.. perfect.
@@Potatoman7 I 100% agree with you!! It’s just asking for trouble and adding to the likelihood that ai get pulled for my ‘slightly’ naughty number plate 😅 This ‘can’ is everything I wanted… Nicer sound, not annoyingly loud, and looks bloody sexy! It does seem though that the majority of bikers want ‘stupid loud’ Thanks for the comment 😊🤘🏻
Wow, what a hearty meal there. I mean the chips looked huge!😮 I could never have such a big meal while on a bike. Mainly because I wouldn't be able to fit in my leathers, and I would be knodding off into dream land which is not good at all! I'm in the market for some good tyres myself. I think that the (Pirelli diablo Rosso 4's) is the way to go. My other choice was the Power Cup Evo from Michelin... We'll see!! I particularly like a nice pace through the Twisties, and look for a good overall comfortable feel while riding, and the response of "handlebar to tyre steering" is my style of riding... Although my bike is a very (small superbike) in the Twisties it is a blast, it handles surprisingly well! I'm sure that running the Pirelli tyres will make the lean much safer. Though I've been pleasantly surprised so far with the factory Chinese tyres CST which handle quite well, only leaving 1/4 of an inch chicken strip in leans But yeah, the finishing touch on this motorcycle would be some good tyres for sure! Great volg! Safe riding ✌️
Thanks for the great comment... I really enjoyed reading it. It sounds like your style of, spirited twisty fun, riding is similar to mine. You need something that handles well, inspires confidence to lean, and not wear out at 2k. While not having tried the Power Cup Evo from Michelin I've heard good things about them... I've also heard from other riders that have tried both the Pirelli diablo Rosso 4's are a better choice but there's probably not much in it if you're not hitting the track.. My biggest problem is the power that the 1200 kicks out... At 125 Nm at 9,000 it eats through tyres like a hungry biker in a greasy spoon. Not sure what bike you have, but if it has less torque then these tryes should be absolutely everything you need with the added bonus of not wearing out in a few thousand miles...My biggest fear was losing confidence on a spirited ride.. However, as you saw in the video that was far from true. They are absolutely amazing even when leaning over! Of course I'm still to see how they would feel on a track day but I would be surprised if they didn't perform well (I'm not a track God). Mine have so far done 1k since changing them and I'm so far not seeing any wear at all... I don't hang around and my bike has a lot of power but I'm quite confident I'll get a lot more out of these than the track based Racetec RRs I previously used! I'll post an update on just how many miles I got out of em when it's time to change... One thing I didn't mention is that my previous tyres caused a few squeaky bum moments in the wet. These though fill me with confidence.. As for the pub and the food... Luckily we went for a good walk after to find the start of the Thames allowing me to walk some off...Otherwise I would have struggled getting back on the bike :D Thanks again for the comment and let me know what you choose and how you get on with them :)
In my garage is currently sitting a cbr 600 with two broken off exhaust bolts. There is still a cm of threat sticking out but im afraid to twist it like you guys did
@@BlogVomMax when you hear that ‘snap’ sound it’s possibly the worst sound ever 😅
@@TheBucksBiker-lh2nm thanks for showing how you guys did it. I think I will weld on a nut and use my blow torch from the get go just like you did it in the end
@@BlogVomMax hope our ‘pain’ will be of some help and that you manage to get the thing out 😊🤘🏻
Great video lovely bike I have a triumph speed triple rs 1050 and still undecided if to change the stock pipes for a single pipe 🇬🇧👍
@@richardpearson4248 Cheers mate 😊 My old 2014 1050 had gorgeous underslung arrows! Sounded amazing… I miss that bike ☺️🤘🏻
Definitely nicer sound, & looks way better..
@@SwenglishSteve650 cheers mate… It’s the perfect sound and volume for me! And the neighbours still talk to me 😄 I know it’s not to the taste of the Growler-Boyz but I absolutely love it 😊
Totally agree this is one of the better looking exhausts... but those new Prorace low mount exhausts 🤔
@@spd3POV Love the Pro race as well as it shows the full back wheel..
Looks much nicer, and the tone is better as well.
Thanks mate… I know I’m gonna get it in the neck from the Growler Boyz but this is perfect for me in every way! It looks the absolute dogs bits… 😊🤘🏻
@@TheBucksBiker-lh2nm the only reason I went for a full system is that it was actually cheaper than a new stock and a out the same as a second hand. Although I never really factored in re tune costs....I was going to do that anyway.
@@SloboloboVFR yours sounds fruity but would probably give me a earbleed on long rides coz I’m an old c*nt 🤣… I do have options to decat and remap if I want to be invited to a ‘Growler Group Tug Circle’…but not at the moment 😅
SC are quality items, the thing with exhaust cans is that any euro 5 can will not sound louder than a stock can only deeper and you can't easily remove the baffle. Personality I resent paying all that money for such a small difference. I went with a not for road use can 😊 gives you the option baffle in or out.
@@spangoz1000 Mate, it sounds lovely! Nice warm sound. I deliberately chose this because it’s the same volume… Yes, most think I’m mad but I wanted something that looked better, with a warmer sound, but will not annoy the fu*ck out of wife and neighbours! At anytime in the future I decide ai want to join the Growler-Boyz I just need a link pipe and decat! Right now I’m sooooooooooo happy with this! Absolutely gorgeous and does what I wanted 😍
Lovely bike but elvis theme is tacky and ruins it. No thanks!

Yep… Exhaust. Late Birthday and early Christmas gift 😃
Great video! Thank you. Nice motorcycle. The dash is dashing. I don't find it outdated at all. But I'm 66, what do I know? I've been riding bikes forever. Today I could not accept the VRF750F fuel economy. Two strokes from the early seventies had better economy.
@@fuglbird thanks mate… I don’t find the fuel economy that bad. The only problem with my VFR is that it only has a 15.5ltr tank which is crap for a Sports Tourer! I get about 140 miles before ai need to fill.. The model after has a 17ltr tank probably after complaints… Last 2 strike I owned was an RD250! Crazy little bike…
For a Brit "over engineered" means: It works and lasts. In the rest of Europe we mostly make products that work and last. To us "over engineered" means unnecessary, harmful and probably British. Besides it probably leaks oil.
@@fuglbird What’s a Japanese decision, in the 1980s, to create a masterpiece of engineering, with a financial investment working at a loss, got anything to do with the British?

How long do they last? Looking to find new tires for my new triumph Daytona 675 I just got. Still had the oem tires on it
I’ve only done 700 miles since the video was made so too early for me to say! However, my friend who also has the same Speed Triple 1200rs has about 3800 miles and still has some good tread left. On a 765 you should easily get that or more… 😊🤘🏻
@@TheBucksBiker-lh2nm how good is the grip, good and sticky? I was originally going to get some popular Dunlop q3+ tires but they discontinued the size tires that I need and was looking for and alternative and had a v profile and grip on the sides
@@alexgroezinger762 As mentioned in the video I felt no difference in grip between these and the super-sticky Racetec RRs which are of course Track Tyres! The only minimum difference I found was they very slightly less flickable on fast turns than the Track Based tyres I always used! Obviously the Speed has a lot more power and torque than the Daytona so these should also last a lot longer! I was worried about having less grip with these but no… You will love these even on an extreme lean angle. They are simply amazing and will 100% buy these again when mine finally need changing. 100% recommend these tyres 😊
@@TheBucksBiker-lh2nm thank you so much
