    It’s nice to see and hear somebody who is tall and young and has nearly the same balding pattern as myself! When I was 22 I dyed my hair a lot and it was just kind of dead looking so I shaved it off as a fresh start and noticed when it came back there was this thinning pattern all over the top of my head and especially on the back of my head, creating this ring pattern and the further back I stood from the mirror the more pronounced it was. I did keeps and was so worried about losing my hair until about 3 months ago when I can across this channel and decided enough was enough, i wasn’t going to be a slave to losing my hair and shaved it all off. I’ve never looked back and I have so much more confidence about myself, so this is really a huge thank you for all that you do! I love hearing stories of people with similar concerns and paths! Keep rocking on lads!

    being a 24 year old bald man, it sucks, you definetly get a few jokes here and there but the minute you get used to it and deal with the fact that its gone you become to love it, its easy, and most of the time you suit it a lot more then you ever did with hair

      I'm 23 and balding. Absolutely devastated. My self image and confidence is completely gone. The prospect of dating is out the window. I don't think any girl at this age will like a bald dude. If I was older it'd be fine. I'm so depressed and kinda suicidal. I've shaved my head a few times and it made it way more obvious when the hair grows out a bit

      @blamblastersidgeiii9360 my best advice to you, grow a class beard, get yourself to the gym, get wam and before you know it the bald look just works, I've had a lot of girls prefer it. Transplants and what not are not really worth it, a lifetime of being on meds with horrid side affects, work on yourself and before you know it you'll feel tip top 👌

      I’d say the first thing is to sort out the depression and anxiety so you can feel better about yourself mentally. I do know what depression feels like and my own experience, though not hair related, was that it magnifies all the negative thoughts about oneself out of all normal proportion. Once you feel more positive about yourself then you can decide what to do about your hair. You could get a hair system if that’s what you want to do. Personally, I’d shave it off and keep that look for a week or two at least. It always takes a while for one to get used to a shaved head. Maybe grow a beard if you can; think about your fashion sense and maybe go to the gym to get fit. As for attracting women, if a girl won’t date you because you’re bald then that’s a strong indication of her shallowness as an individual. The girls who matter are those who couldn’t care less about your baldness. Many women are really attracted to bald guys.

    This guy with or without the hair looks like a male model either way, this vid/channel has been very helpful lately. Hair's been thinning on the crown since 19, I'm 26 now and tried everything, been growing my hair for about 2 years now and the manbun looks really hides it but the maintenance is so tedious, I'm debating on just shaving it. Only thing is I'm very skinny and have a hard time putting/keeping on weight so I'm a bit anxious about how it'll look, but the older I get the less I care about what others think.

    Looks much better with the close buzz. It sucks to go bald so young, but the great thing is that shaved heads are now mainstream. When I was young, one was looked on as a freak with a shaved head. Thankfully times have changed and anything goes - isn’t that great!

    • @LakituKoopa
      @LakituKoopa 11 месяцев назад +3

      Indeed, I think it became pretty mainstream and common mostly due to the lockdown where people started experimenting and wanted to try out the bald look. I think it is great that people are more open minded about it these days. I am not balding (at least not yet) with a full head of hair and one morning I woke up with quite the bed hair. Instead of combing I decided to to try out something new and went for a full headshave. It looks good on me and I think I will keep it shaved for a while before growing it back at some point. My friends and people in my study group at university like it as well and tell me that I look great.

    I have been on finasteride for over a year. No minoxidil. It halted the balding process. I have shoulder length hair, with noticeable balding. But not ready to cut it off. I'll stop when I turn 40 and shave it. Till then, no one cares about my bald spot on my crown and thinning top. No one mentions it unless I do. My female hairdresser, shes the only one who truly knows it how bad it is, said she liked that I won't cut it and and wear it 'psuedo' naturally. Just buzz when ready.

I just use minoxidil, microneedling, biotin, saw palmetto, ketokonazole and massages consistently. If you want your hair, there's no half-assing it, either you go bald or go full on obsession and benefit from the reward. My friends envy my full head now. Edit: this is just 2 months of minoxidil, so I am a hyper-responder, I might be back to when I was a kid in a year.

      It is an interesting experience. I am not balding (at least not yet but maybe in near future), woke up one morning and after seeing myself in the mirror I decided to change my appearance. Went from a full head of hair to skin bald and people started reacting differently. When going out for groceries I could feel that tried to make space if approaching with the cart and girls at university became more talkative. I don't regret it at all, turned from a 20+ average guy into a manly guy and look older, I even grew a beard over the last few weeks. Shaving my head now every morning and will keep it like that for a while. Maybe I'll grow my hair back at some point but for now I enjoy the bald look.

    If you are concern about hair loss and affects you , start treatment finasteride + monoxidil. DHT is the main problem of hair loss , finasteride will block it , and minoxidil will make you hair regrowth. you need to use both forever twice a day. You need pacience only after 5 months you will start to see result. It works !

Got called a pussy by my brother as he’d already accepted fate and pulled the shaver out ran it straight down the middle. I gained confidence from this moment. I was no longer hiding and avoiding situations.

    But like the dude's not bald yet.
    If its actually male pattern baldness then doing Finestaride right now would definitely give him the hair density back, it just takes like 2 years. You can always mix it with dutasteride aswell for good measure so I dont see the point of not doing anything. Atleast Fin, its like 17$/year if you quarter it.
    Like its so easy to just take one pill a day.

    • @Baldcafe
      @Baldcafe  6 месяцев назад +1

      The point is like he said. He doesn’t want to take meds just for hair and for life. It’s easy to become dependent on them for confidence etc.

    • @horstcs
      @horstcs 6 месяцев назад +2

      He probably says that just because he doesnt realize that taking finnasteride for life is completely fine, its like brushing your teeth every night except its way faster. Its an equivalent of saying I dont want to brush my teeth for life.
      Finnestaride is literally a perfect medication, it does not interact with any other substances, it's effective, has extremely low side effect profile and it's the cheapest medication out there (if you quarter it). There is controversy only because many people are balding, which leaves room for many people to spread misinformation about the drug, finestaride is proven to be safe.
      Its funny to me that people are scared about TEMPORARY erectile dysfunction from finnasteride, when the majority of non hairloss medicatons have erectile dysfunction as a side effect aswell, IN ADDITION to like 25 other side effects that are worse. For example anti depressants. Or my mood stablizer medication had over 50 side effects, including a life-threathing rash, I got none of those obviously. Or for example my old grandmother takes 2 medicatons everyday, without them she could potentionally end up in the hospital. Those drugs also have many side effects but obviously she never had any of them (like most people), and it allows her to function fine.
      Swallowing a tiny pill everynight in the exchange of keeping your hair seems to me like the obvious choice everyone should make. Unless they like being bald.
      It sucks when people realize this at the point of no return, when theyve already lost their hair.
