    I completely understand the mental block. We rehearse everything mentally, meaning we do everything we ever do mentally first before we ever physically do it and we create alot of problems that arent even real by doing that but we also solve alot of problems before they ever happen too.

    So my pop told me a while back to just go get started he said when your older you will look forward to working on the projects. I am still a little hit or miss man but hey its good spending time with him anyway.

      I do it all the time. Sometimes I wonder around the shop for hours to avoid doing something that will take 15 minutes.

    I do that a lot, dread doing it so much I make ten times as bad in my head as it actually is, then get started and realize it real wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be.

    This 339 stroker engine should go against the 347 stroker Ford motor

  • @volunteerflstc

    1840 CST. What is the logic behind the 339 build vs the ubiquitous 383? You mention the crank used here is a 383. Does the 305 block have to be machined differently for this build as opposed to a 383?

    • @SquarebodyStuff
      @SquarebodyStuff  5 месяцев назад

      Just wanted to build something different. The 305 can be stroked just the same as a 350 can be to make a 383. The 305 and 350 share the same stroke.

    One more thing Chad, with stroker engines and Chevy especially. Smooth out the bottoms of the bores and radius the sharp edges.. Its good for a few more ponies especially in RPM. 🍻 Happy New Year 🍻

      This was never a 400 crank. It was made with 350 mains. It's an aftermarket crank.
