Its nice hearing the two VAs for Rex one after another. The old Rex one does an incredible job of making him sound like a rugged veteran, but its still him. British accents, huh?
When I first got to the area I was like, this can’t be the Cliffs of Morytha since the rest of the area was OG Colony 9 from 1. But NOPE it is and I’m happy 😃

The entire gimmick of 3’s world is that it’s a combination of 1 and 2’s worlds.
Did anyone catch this 4:52? When Rex asked Pyra and Mythra do you love this world? Pyra said Nia, Azurda and Rex. Maybe the two of them caught on that Nia loved Rex too and loved her back regardless which can partially explain why they would let her into their wife group in the future and have three kids with Rex.
But surely that implies that it then becomes a foursome with Gramps?
No? Azurda is basically one of their only past links and surviving friendships from Torna. It makes sense she would cherish it so much since everyone else is gone, forgotten Pyra and Mythra because of memory reset, and is trying to either capture or kill the others.
Rex is a True Master Driver of Pyra and Mythra also Nia too he's a gigachad of swordsman to have two blades and a flesh eater fall in love with him❤😂
Really one of the best character developments
I love how even before the transformation when he’s 1v1 Jin, at first Jin is crushing him but as Rex goes on with his speech he starts to match Jin. Rex is My favorite xenoblade protagonist
No jin cant only slowly pusbing him back while also negeta Nia blade ability.
Whoa... Somehow I forgot that we saw the artifice early on in XC2. I guess at the time I thought the red half was pyra's and the white half was Mythra's when all along Pneuma and Malos were sharing it.
This is why they should have just told them they were their parents. Every scene like this is suppose to be endearing but it just leaves the characters confused. Like Glimmer is thinking “WTF is this old man talking about.”
Here's how that conversation would go. "You know years ago I settled down with my wife and we a child. A daughter named Glimmer." To which she responds "What's a daughter?"
Glimmer and Nikol wouldn't even know what they're talking about. They just got freed from the flame clock and were instantly thrusted into the biggest fight of their lives
Of course they would need to be told about the birds and the bees and family structure like the main game party did
And also the whole clone spawning and Rex’s complicated family tree
Sure Rex and Shulk could try to explain parenthood, but “wtf is this old man taking about” is going to be their answer to anything reproduction related
I love how Rex's voice sounds like Malos for a brief moment at 0:50. 😂
When I saw this Affinity Scene, I thought this was Rex talking about when Mythra first awakened and Vandham sacrificed himself. Then again it has been a minute since I played XC2
I really need to play through Xenoblade 2 again. After all, what harm could come from a seventh playthrough?
Sadness, especially when you realise that phuema technically dies given how she the result of mythra and pyra combine conciousness makeing technically a third conciousness

When you think about it,
Pneuma would absolutely destroy Malos and Alvis combined. That’s why Rex mentioned them in the final fight against Alvis.
I’m pretty sure when he said “them” he was referring to both Logos and Pneuma
@@anzack2551 almost certainly and the fact the camera panned over to both N's sword and Matthew's fists meaning that N's sword probably contains Logos and we know that the fists contain Pneuma.

Not Alvis. Alvis is pure Ontos at its peak, with Ontos essentially being the strongest processor. Malos would lose, but Logos would be even with Pneuma
Idk about that though.
It is possible that N's sword has Logos' core, if we go by how the camera was zooming on the sheath, so they managed to defeat Alpha because they had 2 cores vs 1 core.
Alvis/Ontos has shown more godlike powers than the other cores in XC1, but tbf that would be because the Bionis world was made out of ether, while Alrest was the remains of the original Earth, so Pneuma and Malos couldn't show everything they had until the endgame, when they regained access to the Conduit.
Flashback to xenoblade chronicles 2 when we hear this quote from malos

Does anyone think we might see Mythra’s child soon I mean we’ve seen Nia’s daughter Mio and Pyra’s daughter Glimmer will there be a another dlc or will they be in the next game.
No new dlc Xenoblade 3 is officially done that question will go unanswered probably forever and before a smartass comes along no Dirk is not her son its just a bad theory turned meme

What annoys me, is that Rex and Shulk never come out and say "I'm your daddy!" Instead they just heavily imply it.

@polarbearseatingpenguins8173 At this point in the development of the Ouroboros Stone, that kind of information transfer doesn't occur.
To be fair, explaining all that to them would be earth shattering information, on top of already having literally everything they knew stripped away from them in the course of like 2 days. And they knew that in under a week (or however long the DLC takes cannonically) they'd be leaving them forever. So, like, entirely reasonable for them to never tell them about it, the information would just be horrible, esspecially as they grow up and see children knowing an d loving there parents, never knowing that themselves. Far better to have them still think they are born from the queens. Which is like, really close to being true, strangely enough.

His voice acting is so good but it's so obvious they weren't given any direction 😭 hell I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even show them the cutscenes cause I feel like Rex's VA would probably act differently if he saw the animations LMAO

I've been meaning to ask: Where could've Pyra and Mythra been gone?
I think Linka mentioned this before you get that golden community thingy for her. She said that alot of people were assimilated during the making of Aionios, but there are some exceptions like Rex, Shulk and anyone who is obviously from Alrest and Bionis. She also mentioned that they may have a role to play in Aionios. So my guess is Mythra and Pyra (and our party members before, except for Nia and Melia) simply didn't make the cut to be in there.
