    Where are the Kirk crusaders that said we would not win games without Kirk? The fact is we were winning games before he arrived and clearly winning more games without him. That fan base was only interested in Kirk not the Vikings.

    Nobody though Darnold was any good, and the narrative indicated Flores D was exposed, just very lazy analysis.

    My prediction is. Sam signs a two-year $70 million deal with the Vikings. He plays one year for the Vikings and gets traded to the Rams once Stafford retires. The Rams are a perfect fit, the same schemes and culture.

    People are reluctant to admit that Darnold is a better quarterback than he's been given credit for. He never got good training and coaching till he was a backup with the 49ners. He has drastically improved since then. He has natural talent, an arm, he can move, and he's physically robust. Why not polish this diamond too instead of putting all your hopes and plans on JJ MacCarthy.

      You really can’t blame Turner for struggling to get early playing time. We’ve had 3 edge rushers in the top 10 for sacks for most of the season. But you can’t teach the speed and bend he showed on that sack. The guy literally hit a knee and didn’t slow down at all. The tackle didn’t have a chance. He’s gonna be a stud.

    • @jeremeseeley8671
      @jeremeseeley8671 9 дней назад

      Absolutely! I don’t blame Turner one bit. It’s an advanced defensive scheme which utilizes many different nuances, difficult to digest and execute for any rookie. Which makes Ivan Pace’s early success even more unbelievable. But again, I feel a sense of relief to get something-anything from a first round pick. Treadwell, Hughes, Bradbury(hasn’t performed like a top 20 pick), Gladney and Cine have given me a complex lol

  • @BobbyArrow

    The take on Caleb is excessively negative. Putting the losses on the shoulders of a rookie QB is unfair. He is talented; Chicago is a mess. Eberflus already had a terrible record and couldn't do anything with Justin Fields, but they kept him anyway. People forget the selling point for Ryan Poles was "he fixed the KC O-line in one offseason." Yet, Chicago still has a terrible O-line after 3 years. Caleb has been hit so many times that he is already broken. For his sake, hopefully not permanently.

    I think when you consider the visceral contempt for Sam Darnold the national media has had for the last few years, as well as the preseason Vegas prognosticators putting the Vikings at 6.5 wins because of their QB, that Darnold has overcome more this year than any other player and should be the hands down MVP. He is still the reason no one outside of some Viking's fans and the team itself that believes in the Vikings … and he is still getting hate from mainstream shows this week. Yet, he still keeps plugging along leading a 12-2 team. A lot of players and the coaching staff of this team are the reason for their record, yet without Sam’s play they wouldn’t be this good.

KOC should have won the Coach of the year when he made Kirk 13-4 and he definitely should get it for making Sam look good. The Vikings need to tag and trade Sam and roll with JJ and the competitive advantage of having no expensive QB. STACK THE ROSTER AND WIN A SUPERBOWL!

    Drake Maye isn’t balling 😂 Caleb is significantly better than him, he hasn’t played as awful as you claim, his stats are good but his flaw, minus the awful coaching, is he’s indecisive and not seeing the game fast enough. He tore thru Minnesota a month ago and now they saying he’s trash and a quittter 🤔 If they would have won that Washington game, the whole season would have played out differently, he’s fixable and many coaches would be willing to take that challenge.
