I've been a Vikings fan since '96. I've felt the downs like everybody else. But I can't abide these fans who always say they'll just let you down. They swept the Bears, might sweep the Pack, and can take the 1 seed from the Lions. They'll more than double their Vegas win-loss projection. The team building future looks bright. And none of it is luck. I feel like this is the start of our dynasty and I don't want to be anywhere but here. Understand how lucky we are to have this team.
Fact: Green Bay is terrified that they’re going to get blown away. The Vikings for the first time in 15 weeks I’ve got their entire defense back. Sam Darnold is getting far more familiar with his receivers and hitting ad Libs route who are the Green Bay Packers have been playing good they aren’t any really different or the Vikings are different. They’re much better much more fluid on offense
Perfect pep talk. I quit watching football since 2019, all sports for them years took a hiatus, and I came back to the same defeatist mentality from this fan base and friends and family and it’s pathetic. Have fun, this season is amazing and yet we still have loser Brad mentality.
I might be wrong, JJ was a 85 QB in preseason before he was injured that took a whole year to heal. Kirk was also injured and took. Early a year to heal. Sam is a 105 QB in regular season and never has been injured that needs a long time to heal Vikings will let him go elsewhere?
I agree with you guys that everyone waiting for the bottom to fall out are missing out on the ride. But I think that the 2017 run really jaded a lot of fans. It sort of felt like a year of destiny, with the super bowl being in Minneapolis and the miracle, but then getting absolutely pantsed by Philly.
Part of it is 2017 but part of it is also the fact we were told 2025 is our year. I’m treating this as a bonus season where we will be competitive for a while but some people can’t enjoy it because they think 2025 is the year. I think if we treat this year as a bonus and enjoy the playoffs, we won’t be so worried if it doesn’t work out, we’ll have multiple shots at this.
I was looking at stats and noticed vs playoff teams or borderline playoff teams...basically top 10 each divison.....so Vikings have played 8 caliber teams with 2 more coming....anyways their PD ( pass deflected) was 56 to 21 Just checked league stats , Vikings sitting #1 in league
I just cant get into the no defense 50TD style that a lot of the bowl games seem to turn into. I catch the odd game if i cant find anything else to watch though.
I really like what Sam is doing and am happy for him and us. But to keep him and then address the many holes on this roster this off-season is to put us right back into cap hell, that we're just about the crawl out of. Give me JJ and many free agents.
@@BM-si2eiYou don't know what you're talking about. Just because you spend money on the offensive line and DBs doesn't mean it's always going to work out. Darnold is playing like a top 5 QB in the NFL. He's not just a mid like Kirk Cousins. They can franchise tag him for 2025 and it's only like $41M. They would still have plenty of cap space and it doesn't threaten them to be in "cap hell" for 2026 and beyond. They can reevaluate after 2025 season. This team is 13-2 and are in the middle of "cap hell."
@BM-si2ei 💯 I don't care where he takes us. With him gone, that 76 M goes a long way toward adding a lot of players to build that really tough team around s qb. To me, that is way more important if by chance JJ doesn't pan out, you have built qb ready team. The way KO has shownnhe can make any qb better tuenbhe was before he got here. I'm not worried about JJ. Why is D Jomes here then if they were remotely thinking about keeping Sam?
Everyone just thinks Jordan's throwing picks. Thrown one in week 11, which was a tip ball, and none since. He has 11 INT. So does Darnold. You'll be waiting
Does this idea have any potential? Sign Sam D. for four years, 25mil per year, fully guaranteed. He gets 100mil... with a cap hit of only 25mil per yr for the Vikes...
@@c.l.freeman7654 Okay, c.l., you are a tough negotiator. This is my best offer: 33mil per yr... all of it guaranteed... that's 132mil for your client. Deal?
@@kirkpatrick5219 It's the same guaranteed $ Kirk is getting... How about 33mil/yr with all 132mil guaranteed? That's probably my best and final offer.
@mechanized-0 regardless, the fan base is what it is. And to spend 15 minutes bashing a fan, for what purpose? Kinda feels offensive. His facts are good, his information is good. But to bash a fan base feels wrong. Its not a great way to go about it, turn off for probably quite a few people.

Donald Driver quick slant on 3rd and 5 or less was automatic. I forgot about him until Manny mentioned it.
Exciting stuff

Boys and girls, it's time to get un-jaded.

This team is special. I'm so excited to see how their game plays out on Sunday. I am predicting Vikings 31 Packers 27
I hate it when people are like that, too.
Key is to start on time because GB has been hot out of gates lately

The money spent on Sam if has stays would get how many OL players?

Love is healthier than game 4, we will have Tj Hockenson and Ivan Pace Jr( both didn't play game 4)
It is happening 18-2 Skol
Um, the lions dont have a defense,we do,goff cant do it all. After half time the vikes will walk away with it, easy peasy

That would of been realistic 10years ago
It has 0 potential. That’s the going rate for an awful starter. Darnold will be closer to 40 mil, possibly more if he has playoff wins.
