I noticed two facts about Squawks. 1.Squawks appears in all bramble levels. 2.Squawks appears in most levels than any other buddy sorted:(Squawks with most,then Rattly then that spider,then Rambi and less appearances has Enguarde :/

I don't know much about it but I think it's related to the Castle Crush glitch where you pick up something (like a barrel or a bug) but the game interprets the object you picked up as something else, in this case, if you look closely you'll see that just before getting into the cannon he threw nothing after fiddling around with the bugs (that fiddling around is what enables the glitch), that "nothingness" he threw defined that the cannon would exit the level. I don't know the technical aspects of it, but it's somewhat like that.
i hate when someone complains about a glitch not working. its a glitch! the game is not intended for you to break it. thats not the way the game is supposed to be played. so think about that next time you bitch about your glitch not working. don't get it twisted. I'm not mad that your glitching the game. I'm just upset that someone would get angry because they couldn't break the game.

The Donkey Kong games are not loved enough. Maybe because they came in the last years of Super Nintendo. But those games are fucking perfect!

I just cheated and sat in the room where you spawn and hit him until he went on to his second stage. (The second stage is easy).

The original Donkey Kong Country set a very high bar for 2D platformers. This game manages to surpass it in every regard.
