The double meaning of the fact that he did almost die and a certain someone's fans starting wishing he'd die and said he deserved it, and that person never came out to tell them to stop. It's just, this boy really got the worst of it all for a relationship that was never confirmed to be real

The whole smoke slow song is also a metaphor to being with someone who's addictive. But just like a cigarette, we know that person is unhealthy for us but it's fun while we're "consuming" them. Thus by smoking slow, we spend time carefully before they leave/gone.

Fun fact: Josh and Lizzy are friends! Josh is actually the person who introduced me to Lizzy. And they’ve talked abt collabing before, I’m still holding on to the hope we’ll get something from them one day.

on your own time you should watch the mv for lifeline, but only if you're ready to cry. I can't listen to that song without crying it's insane. I wish I could turn my pain into something that beautiful
ALSO yes the voices at the start of lifeline take place at the hospital it's his mom talking to the doctors i believe. back in 2020 when he released Lie Lie Lie he ended up in the hospital on the release day due to a near heart failure he was told that he did the right thing going to the er or else he would've not survived he had 12 hours left
this ep make me cry all the night and couldn't sleep that night, he's a brillant singer n songwriter♡.

i've been listening to almost the whole ep every day since it came out on the way to school in the morning and thank god I'm not sensitive to cry to songs level cause damn.lifeline is literally poetry.
Loved this entire EP, but Used to it is my favorite!! I love the emotional lyrics and creative sound it has. Can’t wait for his album. ❤️

my talented joshua ♡ he's matured so much in his writing already and his career is just starting. so proud of him and so happy he is still here. also, lifeline hits even harder when you know that he and his parents weren't really speaking because they didn't approve of him being queer so, it meant a lot to him to have his mum there (now they get along again yay)
the video for lifeline broke me i understand why you can’t watch them in your video for copyright purposes but omg do you need to watch them they’re all so GOOD!
When I first saw this after seeing her cry after "set me free" I was like shes not gonna make it through lifeline

literally every song is so relatable esp the lyrics in LA and Used To It even if i never been a relationship. the emotions were so raw and it might be slow and people genuinely want bops, but in way these songs are like therapy to listen to when you just want to let out all the sadness.

I definitely recommend listening to Kaitlyn Tarver's music especially if you LOVED All In Due Time she's one of the people who wrote that song and her music is also so beautiful

At 6:42 when you talked about how you've had an experience where someone didn't care about you even when they knew they hurt your feelings. I'm sure a lot of us were there! I know I was and it still hurts to this day.

I just noticed that Joshua ended all his song on the EP with the song title.
ok the last song all im due time is about getting over an traumatic experience and Joshua said this on Genius: "I experienced sexual abuse a lot in my childhood. I didn’t remember that until last year, which is pretty insane. I buried it so far. And when I was a teen, a much older man routinely abused me, and I wasn’t able to see it for what it was at the time" i think its about this and its so heartbreaking

I feel so sad for him because of the whole Sabrina and Olivia drama. I mean, they obviously made very successful careers of it (Sabrina was famous before that, but Olivia honestly took off with that album about him) and he's there getting tons of shit for things that should be private.

If you’re interested, you should really check out Noah cyrus‘s new album. It deals with heartbreak, her journey toward recovery from addiction and her love for her family. I think you could really like it.
