8:31 sorry for making it more sad but “two of us” (that is in fact about his mother) was released 6 days before his sister also passing away… so i think now it has a even deeper meaning, he is living for the three of them

Want me to make it even more sad? At the end of the song, with the line 'we'll end just like we started, just you and me and no one else' can make reference as to the years Jay lived as a single mother, before she remarried and had the girls, it was just her and Louis. Think that he, being the eldest brother, always assumed that in the future he would be the first to pass out and his siblings would outlive him. He never expected to have to lose one of his siblings.

Two of Us is such a special song. I have to hold back tears every time i hear it, especially knowing his story.
For context and to help you understand the lyrics a bit more: Louis grew up alone with his mom (his father left them) who didn't have a lot of money. His first sister is 7 years younger than him. So the lyric "we'll end just like we started, just you and me and no one else" hits really deep, it was really the two of them against the world for a very long time. He's said his mom was his best friend.

And this is such a great video😭 You reacted literally exactly like me when I heard the album for the first time; although the first non-single song I heard (accidently) on his album, which turned me into a Louie, was Fearless. SUCH BOPS ISTG. I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH

if you watched the Walls MV; during the bridge you see 4 blurry men on the stage, and Louis joins them. The "why is it that thank you is so often bittersweet" line is apparently about how they were all greatful for the opportunity that being in 1D gave them, but they barely even acknowledge eachother anymore.
Fun fact: When he sings Walls live, he sings "for every question why" and then the crowds sings "you were my because" while pointing at him 😭
It was a fan project at first, but now it's an official part of that song, he stops and smiles to let us do it it's the most precious thing in the whole world...
(I'm gonna make myself cry, it reminds me of his tour, he only got to do 2 concerts before he was stopped by corona and had to postpone everything, he'd been waiting for so long, and us too... 💔💔)

Please check out copy of a copy of a copy, that’s a song Louis didn’t release officially but he sang it during his online concert. It’s so much worth the listen, I’m sure you won’t regret!
That song is so unique and describes "the music industry" to a tee. It's one of my favorites from Louis!

Fearless is about his younger self, and the “Mom, I did it!” part is sort of like young Louis wanting to make his mom proud which is a reoccurring thing. I WASN’T SUPPOSED TO CRY DAMMIT.

Yesss, it is the best album!!!! But i think knowing like the real meaning of some of the songs (that are abt harry and lou) also helps to the emotion, bc you know the history about them😭.

A very popular fan theory is that Too young and We made it are parts of the same story, meaning that dispute all the struggles, pressure the relationship faced, they made it. So the pressure Louis was taking about is the management pressure, which is indirectly confirmed by a cut off part of We made it mv, where a man tells to the main character (who represents Louis) "I decide what you do and when you do it”

For me, Fearless is about himself, how he went every night in front of all these people to sing, he was young and fearless (beginning of 1D), and since a few years he’s anxious about doing the same, with self doubt and everything

This video should be called "how I became a louie", I love your reaction, every song on this album is completely beautiful and I can't wait to see what he has to offer on his second album, I always loved louis' lyrics and we were able to notice how good his writing is from One Direction days, I think you should also listen to copy of a copy of a copy, just hold on, miss you, back to you and just like you the last four are very different of the current louis sound as he was just figuring out how he wanted his sound to be, but they really are very good songs and I think you would love them

@@lakshitasharma3233 Zayn's music is a conflicting topic for me. I think he's the most interesting artist out of the five because of the variety in his discography and I think he's the best lyricist and has the best production. At the same time, I don't feel like I can actively listen to majority of his music because I'm not really into that type of music, which is something I can say for Niall and Harry. That said, I really respect him and appreciate his work. He's incredibly talented.

about icarus falls, you could split it in two, as it can be intended as two different parts of a same project kinda ?? even the visuals for the album are different, one's lighter, representing the "high" moment, and one's darker, representing the fall. it could be easier to go through it this way

Oh God, I just love watching people discover walls and fall in love with Louis. He is a beautiful soul, a masterful songwriter and an amazing singer. A lot of the songs on this album throw back to a genre called britpop, this was a late nineties early noughties genre made popular by the likes of Oasis, Blur, Artic Monkeys etc.
I personally believe a lot of the songs are related to his relationship with a specific person and his internal battles with himself about it, if you are interested in learning more about this check out videos by Fearless Creature for great explanations.
He has been through so much shit in his 30yrs, he deserves so much credit for staying strong.
Can't wait for LT2!
P.S. he wrote/co wrote the most 1D songs out of the boys, it's worth checking out the list to understand his writing progression.

I’d recommend listening to his songs that aren’t on the album too if you haven’t. Back To You, Just Like You, and Miss You
The thing with LP1 is that it's just not the type of music that a lot of people listen to within the fandom, therefore it's not as popular within the fandom. It's certainly not a bad album, personally there are quite a few songs that I love!! We also know how incredible Liam's vocals are, and they weren't particularly showcased on LP1 (other than Midnight). Another important thing to note is that Liam didn't really write as much on LP1 as he has with some of the one direction stuff. Basically, it didn't showcase him as much as we wanted it to, but it doesn't mean it's a bad album :) He's mentioned he's been writing more on his upcoming music so I'm excited to see what happens in the future!

@@cherrydreams_ it’s not a bad album. i can understand it being the weakest compared to the other solo records but it is not bad at all. there are many songs in lp1 that are fantastic and showcase liams vocals. lp1 isn’t just stack it up and strip that down

@@febhasusan3218 He can sing but he can’t make good music. He has what it takes but kinda really ruined it for himself with the path he chose when he went solo. And the lyrics were very meh in my opinion.
I expected more from him considering how many songs he co-wrote with Louis back in 1D. But I guess when he said he’s more of the melodies man while Louis was responsible for the lyrics in those co-written songs he really wasn’t kidding. At least he knows how to create a good melody, and sounded good back in 1D.
@@cherrydreams_ yeah i agree. But the sad part is he could literally be doing so much better cus he has the most range. Range puts you steps ahead of everyone. U look at Niall and lou who (as far as we know) don’t have nearly as much range as Liam, yet walls is amazayn and both nialls albums aren’t only great and catchy but have had crazy radio impact. Liam could totally be a pop star with the rigjt push but I gotta agree most his songs aren’t anything innovative, some are catchy tho.

hey! watch a couple of Larry vids or a Larry compilation and you'll understand most of the songs. In habit there's the lyric: ''and it's been ages, diffrent stages, COME SO FAR FROM PRINCESS PARK'' which proves the song is about Harry because they lived together in princess park at the start of 1D (2010) :)
I’ve never been a Directioner or anything but it’s clear to me that Louis has the best writing and is the most underrated :(

you definitely need to listen the live version of fearless, it's another level with everyone singing at the top of their lungs, the guitar solo that isn't in the album version, and the people clapping at the end in time with the drums
Walls has a freakin awesome video. Shows silhouette of 1D that he joins. So many visual clues that tie directly to Harry’s Lights Up. Also you need to see the Directors Cut with 3 of the videos connected. Hint: Habit- the apartment that Harry and Louis used to live.

Funny story. When I first heard Defenceless live in Madrid it wasn't a fave. But the second I heard it on the album I was in love. The drums absolutely knocked me on my ass. The whole album is just sublime. So beautifully written and mixed. It's an absolute crime that more people don't know about it. I'm forever suggesting it to anyone who'll listen. Glad you enjoyed it and I hope you got tickets to his show...when it happens.
I swear I had the same reaction when I first listened to walls, like Louis Tomlinson really had me at his feet with just one listen and it's stayed like that for a year. also, if you want to see some of his live stuff i recommend you watch the online concert he did in December, he was absolutely amazing and he sang an unreleased song which is literal perfection, also, he organized a free festival in London that's the 30th of August, but he's releasing the livestream in veeps the 4th of September, the tickets are 16 dollars.
I really love Louis’ voice, it’s so unique, unlike anyone else I’ve ever listened to! Maybe someday I’ll be able to see him live.

The thing with Liam is that he's an amazing singer and songwriter but in his album doesn't show that much that and also it's a very different sound. I recommend that you listen to his EP first. It's called First Time🤍(sorry for my bad English:( love your reactions)

LP1 is just a total different genre... it's kind of hip Pop ...one of the reason most of this fandom doesn't put that album on their list but I like it because of Liam's vocals. Just go to that album with an open mind,have fun with it :) Also Liam haven't done that much writing in the album..only 2-3 songs he share writing credits with others too... He haven't given his best...we know he is capable of good songwriting and music..and he has started writing for lp2 so ya... And you can divide Icarus into 2parts.

This album is so 🥺 My favs are: Habit, Only The Brave, Walls, Kill My Mind and Defenceless.
He's such a nice guy and I can't wait to see him live (I have a ticket for his show but because of the pandemic I don't know when it will be now 😩). And -now that he is more free than before- I'm so excited about his second album! Copy of a copy of a copy blew my mind!

first of all, thank you for taking your time to sit and listen to my one and only Louis :D I was excited that you were getting excited. I knew you would enjoy his sound. he is just an amazing artist and human being honestly. I started to tear up when you started tearing up for two of us:( aside from his album, he has released other songs( just hold on, Back to you, Just like you, miss you) he also recently mentioned that he is coming up with new music, so I'm very excited! when it comes to Louis and bts they are literally my all. I can literally live off of their music ;D (you are very welcome to become a louies :D )

Not all of liams music is my kind of music but I still love most of it. Couple songs are not for me at all and a lot of it is collaborations he had put out for a couple yrs. the album just felt thrown together and he has said he hadn’t really found his sound yet. It’s still worth the listen in my opinion cause his voice is phenomenal. Glad to see you loving Louis music! Its a fantastic album!!
