Louis is doing a lyric drop for his merch! The first one is two of us and he has dna for “you’re written in my dna” Edit: cool thing about the dna is that it’s backwards on the shirt design so when you look in a mirror it’s the right way (“looking back in every mirror”). All hail Louis the creative genius!
I started listening to their solo albums recently, Louis' album is amazing, not 1 single song I don't love. I can't listen to both of us, I also lost my mum to cancer, so it is hard. I love that pop/rock/punk Louis brings, reminds me of my youth. The lyrics are great, they just pull me in, and I feel all of them. It is amazing to go back in time as well and listen to some 1D songs that are fun as well and see how these 5 guys have been able to continue making music, each of them following his own path. Thanks for your reaction to both Louis and Harry's lyrics, they are my two favourite albums.

Louis Tomlinson's the most underrated artist hands down. I love him and I can't believe how people don't think that too. Ugh. Great reaction as always!
my favourite ever line is "we're sleeping on our problems like we solve them in our dreams" cos like its just so damn true and it really stuck with me from the moment i heard it
"I'd tell the truth lying next to you" in the song perfect now - the juxtaposition of lying here is brilliant yet so subtle I love such cute little details in his songwriting.
are we gonna talk about how harry has Ever Since New york, meaning something happened to him in new york and at the beginning louis says “i know you left apart of you in new york” i think that DLIBYH is lou telling harry that whatever happened in new york don’t let it hurt you too much. like i think dlibyh is for harry
I've always thought "Don't Let it Break Your Heart" is both Louis speaking to the listener as well as to himself. It certainly is a song that can apply to anyone. This was a wonderful reaction vid, Blake! So glad to see that these vids have helped you find a love for music again!
Blake: "you only get them when you've gone through something in life that's incredibly difficult to deal with" Me: "if you know you know, if you don't you're lucky"
When you talk about having that one special line in a song. I always refer to the story Paul Mccartney tells about "let it be" his mom died when he was 14 and as years went by at 28 years old, he said she came to him in a dream and simply said" let it be" the line " mother mary comes to me" is a reference to his mother mary. It has always blown my mind that three simple words could create such a special line in a song. As sombody who writes like you. I long to write a line like that.
The theme is that he’s missing someone... I wonder who... jk. In all seriousness, this album is soooo good! This is a no skip album and watching this video made me see how much of a talented writer Louis is! Can’t wait to see him next year!
blake you are 100% right at 36:41 as he has been in a dark, wierd place for a long time and he needed this album to get out of this. He is so strong to have gone through all that.
I normally refuse to watch any type of reaction videos because a lot of the time people have no true interest in it. But I love Louis so much that I had to know what you thought and it’s evident that you have a passion for music. I know you spoke about it but as a new watcher I want to say thank you for doing this because it’s something that you love to do and not because it’s perceived as “easy”
Same as me, Louis Tomlinson’s Walls brought me back to music again! I was never a 1D fan and never heard of Louis Tomlinson until during the quarantine I came across You and I live video to hear Zayn’s high note everyone was raving about on a forum I was reading and I was totally drawn to Louis when he sang his part. I thought oh, just another boy gander dude easy on the eyes, low on substance or real talent - boy, was I so happy to be proven wrong. My gosh, this young man is TALENTED and he has been through so much not only as an underdog in the music industry but also in his personal life. Instead of being hard and bitter, he chose to be positive, to write such beautiful music about his feelings and experiences in life and love, instead of just fluff and ‘radio’ pop noise. His music is inspiring and deep. Walls is a masterpiece, can’t wait for more music from Louis!
"It’s that thing when you like.. you know you don’t know how to say what you trying to say, and like sometimes your emotions are just even blocking your ability to write things down into writing out lyrics.. even for musicians, even for artists you know? Like it happens so often and its so difficult to deal with that cause its just very very very frustrating. So sometimes you literally just write EXACTLY how you feel down on a piece of paper.. its not clever its nothing. Its just literally exactly how you feel" -Blake McLain \ 1:04:00 \ BLAKE IS MY THEREBY BYEE

When he said "Now two of us, god this is going to be a hard one" I felt that, that song makes me cry everytime.
you really appreciated the part of two of us that said “i can feel your blood run through me, you’re written in my dna” and i just wanted to let you know louis just dropped two of us merch based off of that line, they are planning to drop merch based off of each the singles but it’s limited 🖤
Louis is doing a lyric drop for his merch! The first one is two of us and he has dna for “you’re written in my dna”
Edit: cool thing about the dna is that it’s backwards on the shirt design so when you look in a mirror it’s the right way (“looking back in every mirror”). All hail Louis the creative genius!
isn’t the lyric “looking back on every memory”??
Isn’t it “looking back at every moment”?
haha so i checked and it’s mirror so i was wrong
it's definitely "looking back in every mirror" guys
What's the storyline?
Louis: here, I'm the storyline
Where's the lie?
Louis is a lyrical genius
My whole chest fills with pride everytime I listen Louis voice.
Louis lyrics is soo meaningful he really put him self and his life in this album it’s really nice to see people understand and appreciate his writing skills❤️
YES! The lyric master of 1D
I'll be waiting for this oneeee, it's like: I saw the notification and I literally scream
Sameee as soon as I saw the fine line one I was like I NEED WALLS
I haven’t clicked faster to a reacts video ever
i got chills when you were talking through two of us and how hard the fame must’ve been to handle during we made it. so powerful
louis is so vulnerable in his lyrics and im here for it. he copes by writing music and you can tell that all his feelings are wrapped around the lyrics he sings. hes a lyrical genius and i love him
Your reaction to Two of us is the same as mine. I have to mentally prepare myself so I don't cry
Lou's mind is something else, my favorite part of the lyrics is the fact that he opens the album with "You're" and ends with "Brave" and I think that's pure art.
Blake walking out the door as Louis is singing "you were already out the door" lol
Don’t let it break your heart hits different when you know he lost his mom and sister☹️💛Louis is the strongest and beautiful love him.

Fantastic !! I love your music . I hope you and Harry are together and happy in love! Thanks for the joy you bring me.
Thank you so much 💕
louis did say that he made only the brave that short so that people will want more after listening to it, it works, we do want more (and blake do too!)
i’m sorry to be that person but PRINCESS PARK
Bridget they did live in that complex but harry and louis shared it together
this is not about larry, is ab louis. so please shut up
Valentina Greco awh thanks but no mwah xoxo
@@DanielaMartinez-mg6cq ohhhhh. i was un aware of that. in that case it might be larry but personally i dont think so. another interview zayn says that louis is never at his house with harry and that louis pretty much lives with zayn. I also heard that harry moved out very soon to go live with other friends.
I obviously dont know whats true or not but im just sharing what ive heard. i know i can be 100% wrong so i completely respect your opinion
@@bridget4959 it was just louis and harry...
you should really to harrys live cover to “girl crush” it’s beautiful
yes
im so glad you appreciated the "shiver that I can't shake" line because that is my favorite because its so clever!
Your totally right about fearless. It’s why it’s one of my favourite songs. To me it says to never lose sight of hope, and to put your pride and self consciousness aside, and just try!
Love your reaction.
Thank you.
Only the brave is my favorite song too but louis' fav song is walls and thats why its called walls
I can barely sit through a movie but I of course can sit through Blake's 1-2 hour videos with ease. I love itttt
Exactly!! And without skipped 😭
louis means so much to me and i know he means so much to others its so hard to even explain how much i love him 🥺
He makes it difficult not to love him
I was literally waiting for this louis says so much in his lyrics it’s really nice thing to see people appreciate that ❤️
2 people that are under appreciated...Louis Tomlinson and Blake McLain
22:18 i’m sorry, what is that smirk?!? you be a dark larrie... 😏🤣
Yeah he definitely is...
Louis Tomlinson's the most underrated artist hands down. I love him and I can't believe how people don't think that too. Ugh. Great reaction as always!
Louis Tomlinson: "Absolutely no meaning behind it."
Also Louis: "Tattooed on my heart are the words of your favorite song."
my favourite ever line is "we're sleeping on our problems like we solve them in our dreams" cos like its just so damn true and it really stuck with me from the moment i heard it
"I'd tell the truth lying next to you" in the song perfect now - the juxtaposition of lying here is brilliant yet so subtle I love such cute little details in his songwriting.
are we gonna talk about how harry has Ever Since New york, meaning something happened to him in new york and at the beginning louis says “i know you left apart of you in new york” i think that DLIBYH is lou telling harry that whatever happened in new york don’t let it hurt you too much. like i think dlibyh is for harry
I've always thought "Don't Let it Break Your Heart" is both Louis speaking to the listener as well as to himself. It certainly is a song that can apply to anyone. This was a wonderful reaction vid, Blake! So glad to see that these vids have helped you find a love for music again!
Louis deserve so much better recognition with his songs and lyrics, I'm so excited for his next album
Blake: "you only get them when you've gone through something in life that's incredibly difficult to deal with"
Me: "if you know you know, if you don't you're lucky"
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE, TURN IT UP
When you talk about having that one special line in a song.
Why did Blake react to Louis' lyrics?

OMG YES he’s a lyrical genius thank you for reacting 🥺❤️
The fact that in the end of fearless a small child says 'Mom, I made it.." makes me bury a hole and cry in it for the rest of my life
I love how fondly you smile at the beginning of every song
Yes, finally. Louis is incredible. Just pure talent.
I love when he talks about Hey There Delilah in Louis' reactions
You are not human if you never cried listening to two of us
"FLOWS SO WELL AND FEELS SO GOOD"
WHY ALWAYS YOU IS ALSO MY FAVEEEEEEEEE
AUGH THIS SONG IS SO UNDERRATEDDDDDD
:D
Always you is a masterpiece
Samsun nahar eiva IKR!!!!!
The theme is that he’s missing someone... I wonder who... jk. In all seriousness, this album is soooo good! This is a no skip album and watching this video made me see how much of a talented writer Louis is! Can’t wait to see him next year!
😟
blake you are 100% right at 36:41 as he has been in a dark, wierd place for a long time and he needed this album to get out of this. He is so strong to have gone through all that.
I mean, he's only the brave.
@@karim_lt28 That's sooo true!
8 months later and this “quote” is heavily graved in me
omg this is my fave album
Listening to louis tomlinsons album while having a therapy session with blake mclain yes please
Also princess park is where louis and harry lived together when the band was first formed!
*where all of the boys lived.
Faith S yes all of them lived there but Louis and Harry shared the penthouse suite together while the others had there own rooms
I was looking for this comment. Yep, they really lived together(at one apartment).
@@isabelhaddock4029 cause others lived with their other friends. L is talking about his own journey and growth, don't make it about Larry. No hate.
Faith S I mean he said it was a love song but okay
I can’t believe how underrated this album is
„We were only kids, just tryna work it out
Wonder what they'd think if they could see us now“....... Look at his reaction at 22:19 !!
He knows it 😌✨
The way I’ve been waiting for this
his lyrics is like a poem, so nice written.
I remember seeing Niall doing an interview where he said he felt bad for Justin Bieber because he dealt with all the fame and chaos that 1D did but he was alone whereas they at least had each other.
Liam said something like this as well I think on a podcast
