I totally agree, harry’s house has its moments like Matilda, Little Freak, Cinema, Daydreaming, and Keep Driving but it doesn’t keep me as engaged as this album. Wasn’t the biggest fan of Midnights other than Lavender Haze & Anti Hero. This album was a great and needed suprise, so many good songs like Saturdays, Chicago, Lucky Again, Out Of My System, Common People, Written All Over Your Face, shit the whole album is good.

I mean- lyrics by Taylor can’t be overpassed, however I think Faith in the Future is a better album in the rest of the aspects(excepting marketing, Tay and Harry’s teams are at another lever), but the lyrics can’t beat THE Taylor Swift’s.

I also love the lyrics in Holding on to Heartache where he says he called twice and changed his number. It’s so vulnerable and relatable. When you just can’t hold back from texting that person that’s on your mind but then you feel so insecure and small giving in to letting them know you can’t forget them.
That's really me .....really hated that clingy image so I'd do something drastic like change my number .....and push to scrub his no out of my brain cos like it's branded.

it’s probably not the correct meaning, but MY interpretation of Angels Fly was him comforting someone after they lost a loved one. I recently lost my grandmother who i was extremely close with and i could relate most of the lyrics back to her; nothing matters, nothing hurts, you just feel numb after a while. and then in the chorus he’s saying you’ll be okay we can talk tomorrow, it’s like saying “i know that talking about them is just gonna make it worse right now, so tomorrow we can talk and today i’ll just be here for you while you need me”. and then of course it explains the angels fly lyric

Faith in the Future is so amazing. I’m so proud of Louis’s work on this album. Every song off this album is an absolutely masterpiece. Some of them are so beautiful and well- put, and some are upbeat and fun to vibe to. I hope you enjoyed this album as much as Walls! Keep up the great work! 😁

Louis is genius lyricist, and an angelic voice.
I interpreted Angels Fly as a convo with his sisters after they've made a mistake where he's telling them it'll be okay and he's there for them and they'll figure it out later. I think the angels could also be referencing the people they've lost (his mom, one of his sisters) being there for them too.

I absolutely love this album and I have such a hard time picking a favorite song because they're just all so so good.
That's the way love goes, Holding on to Heartache, Common People, Angels Fly and Saturdays definitely are some of my favorites but I genuinely love every song so much. No skips on this album

Louis Tomlinson has been one of the most important people in my life since I was 6 years old and I'm hoping and praying I can get accessible tickets for a UK show
I'm a new Louis fan and his music is just so incredible. His voice is great. Lyrics are awesome and his soul really comes out through his voice. One of the best musicians ever!
I love the obvious 80s/90s influence. His voice is just so ethereal. She is Beauty reminds me of Pet Shop Boys music.
For some reason when I hear Saturdays I think of him singing this for his sister Felicite. Seeing someone who is wearing the same trainers reminding him of her. He is broken hearted but won't be broke. Two of us for his mom and Saturdays for her. Just my thoughts .
All This Time is maybe my favorite of the album (tho it’s impossible to really pick). His voice in the chorus is so beautiful and I love the lyrics. I watched and read My Policeman a week before listening to Faith In The Future for the first time and I really see some similarities between that story and All This Time. Not details-wise, but both engage with the idea of wasted time, or the supposed wasting of time, and in All This Time Louis sings about how it’s worth it, all this time. We can lose hope and doubt our path but “the love it takes it’s worth all this time.” Just hit home for me.

After watching Steven’s reaction video I can’t get out of my head the feeling that Saturdays is about Louis grieving for his mom and I can’t handle that right now 🥹
Yeah I think it makes sense, especially the line "somebody's got your trainers on" it's more fitting if he's talking about that and not about an ex-partner, I think he means they're wearing the exact same trainers, not trainers that look like hers. 😢
I think the greatest is about his fans and his relationship with them, and Corona and the whole thing about canceling tours and delaying plans! And he was talking about this things a lot during this time! And I feel that here he wants to talk about his beautiful relationship between himself and his fans and what a great team they are and that nothing is going to change again and all of this
This is one of my fav albums this year! Louis is amazing🥰 To me, Angels Fly is about when someone goes to comfort someone who just suffered a loss.
Also, Holding On To Heartache is one of my favs and when he says "You should be starin' at the sky
The birds just passin' by, love", I think he could be talking about his sister.
Maybe, I'm wrong but since I suffered a loss recently, it makes sense to me to think that this is the meaning of these songs.

I love FITF so much. Somehow it isn’t what I expected but also exactly what I expected. I was very scared when it was announced because Walls means the world to me. I was scared that FITF could never live up to this standard but all my fears were pointless I guess.

You end up spoiling your relationships with Friends/family/loved ones with just one bad sentence - hurting yourself and them. His advice is to pause and take some time to reflect on your thoughts. Rather than fast judgement cause you don't mean those things you said when you were angry or upset. So the more you talk about it , the worse the situation becomes -

I believe this song was written for his close friend ( liam Payne) when he was going through tough time. It makes sense after Liam's Instagram post about Louis helped him.

To me All This Time does feel like objectively the best song so I'm glad you loved it. My other favorite is Lucky Again.

i think you would LOVE Hozier. His music has really deep and intimate stories and his instrumentals are always so beautiful! His first album is my favorite but his second album is also extremely good too!

I was surprised with tickets by my mom, and it was my first concert. BEST THING EVER. I liked some songs a lot better live than in the recording. Plus, he performed a rock version of Night Changes, Where Do Broken Hearts Go, and he performed Walls.
