i remember hearing this story and being absolutely disgusted by jeff. the fact that he lied to his late wife about their daughter’s death is abhorrent. i hope she gets justice and she is at peace with her daughter. i’m glad OP and her daughter are ok

The minute he dropped any pursuits I was like she killed herself. That's so awful. I know she was grieving and going through a lot but her actions were still not okay, but a bit more understandable. Jeff is awful and I hope he takes a leisurely stroll into rusted barb wire. I'm glad Ops and her daughter are safe.
Her actions were not okay but I think she may have had a psychotic break. The way she spoke to Katie seems like she wasn’t all there. I feel so bad for her.
I think its pretty odd that she told her daughter about the deceased half sister. It brings up many heavy subjects and places emphasis on her now absent father.
Well that settles it, my new aim in life would be to hit Judgement Day at the 50% mark. About the best that I might be able. As our priest saunters up, I may very well see if the Greater Glory of God and Holy Mother Church will actually balance the books. As a parochial school kid most all of us felt the “fix was in”. Myself and many millions hopefully will get a glimpse. That’s all, with oceans of contradictions we might see. I just can’t imagine what they have to fear, last day and all.
