Not an oil I'd even consider even if I had a euro car

I'd like to express my comment on Liqui-Moly. more than a decade ago we purchased a brand new Opel with Z14XEP engine. We did first oil change at 4500km and of course used Liqui-Moly oil with corresponding specs and approvals for the engine, this oil was recommended as "one of the best". We decided to stick with one brand, same spec Liqui-Moly oil for the rest of car's life. Everyone wants best for their engine, right? Well, so we regularly maintained the car in question and were changing oil at 7500-12000 km intervals (although manufacturer recommends changing oil every 30'000 km - I believe it's a nonsense). Fast forward 7 years later, the engine developed a bad piston knock at 124'000 km and oil consumption became excessive. We replaced the engine with another one from wrecked car with shy of 56'000 km on the clock. Also, we switched oil to Fuchs Titan GT1. 6 years and 117'000 km have already passed since the replacement and it's still going strong. No more Liqui-Moly for me, even if I get it for free. Besides, worth mentioning that Liqui-Moly (which is shown in this video) now costs around 100 Euros per 5 L jug in the shop whereas I buy Fuchs for 38 Euros per 5 L jug.

Liqui Moly oils are as average as it gets.
    Best german oil is Ravenol.

If you want a really quality oils, Millers oils with esters would be the best choice
