This saved us! In a parking lot trying to change a tire and couldn’t get spare tire down after trying for about an hour. I went off and watched this you tube. Came back and asked my husband if the big end was on the outside because you emphasized that point. He checked, turned it around, and voila. I just became the best wife that ever lived THANKS TO YOU!!!!!
Jeezus get on with it, I didn't search this video because maybe sometime in the future I might need to change a tire
Jesus man every RUclips video gives you the option to A) Skip ahead B) play the video at faster than normal speed such as 1.25X 1.5X 1.75X or 2X.
It would have been helpful if you had actually lowered the spare, jacked up the vehicle (showing the jacking points) , and then put the spare back into position.
Exactly, what a waste. You were already halfway there? Makes no sense.
Love the truck! It is difficult to see what you are doing (black on black), but good explanation of the process.
If you live in Northern Canada and they salt the roads I suggest your remove the tire lock toss it in the glove box and leave it there for ever. Went to lower my spare tire on my 2008 last year and the lock was rusted shut . Was not a pleasant thing to find as only way to remove is with a grinder .
U helpful video
need to add the years/models applicable to title, all different
Thank you. Found it
Nice video very informative. Thanks. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Honestly who designs these things lol, in a service truck with a full back seat it gets to be ridiculously difficult 😂
Ty
i dont see where you say where is the lift point
Well, I’m screwed my key doesn’t even work for my back bummer 😅
Power drill the lock out.
Holy black on black on black Batman!! Fire the producer of this video 😂 A white sheet or something 🤷♂️
Pay the membership and call AAA for a flat tire!
Same as the dodge i had 20yrs ago. I hate this configuration! So cheap and hard to use
No for F150 Jack's not behind the main seat on the floor get it right
Hey putting it back in the damn truck is the hardest part…why not show it
Far too many commercials
Could you possible film further back ? Duh. ??
While I'm appreciative of providing a video, it is almost useless. The last color vehicle you needed was a black one. Other than the few close up shots I couldn't tell a thing about it. In particular, connecting the sections to lower the tire, which end goes in the hole, how about a close up of the "funnel' area underneath the truck. Thumbs down I'm afraid.
It’s easy when you look. Sounds like you put no effort in yourself other than complaining. Some common sense may be required.
The comment was about the poor video quality. You have no clue how much time or effort I put into finding the answer.
@@JamesNewsomeCaiLeighAnna well, its easy, so don't know what to tell you. You shouldn't have to put much time or effort in. You should be able to figure it out with no video at all. Just the audio here should be more than enough to figure it out without any video. Go look at the rear end of your truck and its right there.
This is about as useful as the manual, which is almost not at all.
Wtf does it take a 10 min video to show the jack location??? Wtf dude
Thank you for your input
@@longmcarthurfordExactly. All that time and no mention of jack points at all.
Jesus. Within all that useless babbling, you could have mentioned that when you insert the rod to lower the spare tire, you need to go toward the left and not straight, otherwise you're going to spend the next decade on the side of the road looking for that funnel...
I think he did a very good job. Maybe you have a learning disorder?
Thanks for nothing
Terrible terrible
Sorry you didn't like it, from the other comments, it seems it did help some. Thanks for the constructive criticism.
( 09 F150 XL ) NOPE sorry not there!!!
Sorry, it probably is located in a different location on the 2009. This would work on the 2016-2020 models.
