Damn, it's Sunday. Town is 20 klms away. I'm outta money. I want to make one of these prawn dishes tonight! Oh well, I will have to patiently wait until Tuesday.
I live in a country where fancy items such as miso paste and cooking wine are not easily available and super expensive. :'( If I skip those two, will the garlic prawn noodle still taste similar?
You could absolutely leave the miso and wine out. You might just need to add extra Parmesan to make up for the salty miso. And just substitute the wine for a little chicken stock 😊👍

Prawns here in the Philippines came from fresh water while Shrimps are from salt water and most of it were culrured from ponds.
So fascinating to know the differences between all the countries!

I made a whole wok of garlic shrimo hokkien noodles for my family over the weekend, it was absolutely delicious
So glad u said that about shrimp and prawns, here in Scotland we say prawns and we have 'langoustines' (big prawn/ small lobster) that a lovely 👍
