Thanks for this video. Had the same issues and the exact same codes over the last week. After watching this I when outside and zip tied the pigtail connector securely to the MAP sensor and it solved the problem. No more check engine light at startup.
been having a p0107 code pop up on my 06 chevy cobalt SS 2.4l NA right after i swapped timing chain tensioner. swapped map and still doing it. car doesnt stall just real low idle when she first comes on. after that no issues at all even while driving. gonna give this a shot. thanks for the info and solid video!
I heard in your MAP video the 3.0 engine sounds bad just like mine lots of clicking sounds at idle . I hoped replacement of map sensor would fix this. My clicking sound goes off and on randomly any thoughts ?
My MAP (inHg) is reading 7.6-7.9 and my MAP (V) is reading 1.04-1.10 and my BARO (inHg) is 28.9 to 28.9. Your MAP Readings are much different than mine but yours is a 3.0 and mine is a 2.4. I'm also having stalling issues and do have the P107 code. Do you have any ideas? Based on the MAP readings I have and you have their quite different.
STYNCLSY not much with the rovers. There is a place in Parma called west end rover and jag by state and snow rd that is owned by a former rover tech. He does good work.
@@RichfieldAutoCenter 2013 chevy equinox 2.4l.. i changed my Map sensor and checked the wires and d voltage are good but the check engine light comes back on with the same Code.. please help

@Richfield Auto Center how do you get the sensor to release from the housing. Got everything removed but couldn't get the sensor out.
eottoe2001 once you take the bolt off they should come right out. You might have to pry gently to get it to pop out.
