mine worked on 0 or off and setting 1, and worked like that for a while. until the other day I was driving home and smelled something burning, come to find out the connector that plugs into the back of the hvac box was completely melted and the. I'm currently diagnosing it and going to check the wires under the dash but if anybody as in countered this please help. One last thing I did was replace the hvac control box and it works fine and then had the same issue after a couple of days I think its a ground somewhere or a wired frayed. i dont think its the resistor checked the ohms and they where fine I'm stumped

Mine is doing it now with 150k . I’m going to replace all the Rockers and lifters with Melling ones. All parts including gaskets are less than $400 and you know when one goes bad it won’t be long before another one will too.

Nice job finding out what was wrong. I would not have suspected that the battery fuse connection was the problem.

What the parts name

This isnt accurate. I hired a craigslist mechanic who worked previously was a B tech mechanic at Lexus dealership. Turns out he was just tired of the toxic work environment and preferred to work on his own. Had his own tools and proper scanner equipment etc. Seems some of the mechanics just dont like the way they run shops and dont want the hassle of running their own shop, but are very skilled at mechanic work. He replaced my air suspension and later AC compressor for well under what the dealer would have charged me since it was couple thousand miles out of warranty (win/ win situation). Havent had issues since. He also has done shocks on my Acura. No issues. There are morons on Craigslist no doubt, but most are just trying to avoid having to deal with shop politcs. Some dealerships and shops will do you dirty too.

Hello! Honda HRV 2021. Brake pedal kicks back when almost stopped on uneven road. Dealership mechanic said everything is ok. I have been driving for many years different cars and never had that feel or issue. Doesn’t feel good/safe..despite they said it’s ok. Would appreciate any idea. Thank you!

Thanks for this video. Had the same issues and the exact same codes over the last week. After watching this I when outside and zip tied the pigtail connector securely to the MAP sensor and it solved the problem. No more check engine light at startup.

I’m having the same issue, no spark at the ignition coil, brand new one. The connector to my ignition coil only has 2 wires, Pink and white and black. The truck was running fine, but some times when going over 2000 rpm the check engine light would flash and go away. Yesterday it was running fine and it died and never turned back on. Changed a bunch of parts and I just found out there’s no spark at the ignition coil. What could it be? Chevy Silverado 1500 2006 4.3 V6 standard. Thanks

Easy fix... just remove the intake, valve cover, loosen the cam bolts.. ext 😅
