This is a great lesson for people(most of us) who grow up in circles that judge genres outside of their group preference.

Michael, I am so grateful you reacted to this! This is and has been my number 1 favorite live performance. I saw it live on TV when it happened and is most definitely the most watched video for me. I still get chills, every time without fail. You described this experience perfectly the build ups, those outrageous diminished chords, and the love and ego between the musicians. Justin told Chris beforehand something along the lines of "We just need to get you out there and let you shine one time, and the rest will be yours." This absolutely did that for Chris. The best moment is where Justin yells to Chris "Take it", the band drops out and he sings 2 of the most iconic growling high notes that just turned the entire audience into a frenzy. Best audience reactions were Little Big Town losing it when Justin did the high note run while pointing his finger, and Jerry Douglas's face with Sam Hunt behind him. There was so much respect from all the great musicians and artists in the audience. They all realized they were witnessing a magical musical moment, and totally appreciated it. Thank you again Michael!

This is just a pure high that can't be matched by any drink or drug on this earth. Music isn't just a bunch of people making noises. It's people that know how to place pieces of different instruments and vocals in the right place at the right time. They hear the song before they sing/play the song. It's a magical gift that not many people have but it's still out there now a days. But being on that stage I can only imagine how those musicians felt. Like they're invincible and on a cloud floating above everybody in the crowd. The only noises are the ones they're producing, and causing in the crowd reaction.
