I found this video last night, and man - i've seen the video about 10 times already. The most important factor to me, is the genuine "reacting" - especially the look and reacting you have at 5:34. There is a lot of "fake" and "scripted" reacting videos out there - but you seem genuinely impressed and happy when seeing this stuff and that gives me a good feeling. I also love the fact that you stop the video and try to learn and explain why the different parts are so good as they are. But i love your honest reaction and personality the most. Please continue doing this. Honesty is rare these days. Subbed.
Sometimes people talk about having a "comfort RUclips video" that you return to time and time again. This video is mine! I had the same reaction listening to Shakey Graves for the first time and have been in love with him ever since. I'm seeing him live for the first time in October in DC and can't wait. This was also my first video of yours and I am an avid viewer now. Frankly it's been a great way to learn of new artists and push myself to learn more about guitar as I am completely self-taught. Keep up the great work!!

Caught them at the last show of the tour in Philly. Blew the roof off the house, I love dr dog and it was their homecoming show but they damn near put the place to sleep after Shakey Graves. So good.
I knew I was in for it when I realized Dr. Dog (seen them a ton) was opening for Shakey Graves in Asheville. Was a hell of a show.
I saw Dr Dog open for Shakey at Red Rocks last August and it was an INCREDIBLE show. One of the best I've seen.
Did you see Shaky just put out three part documentary. Well produced inside look ruclips.net/video/E0rcaJ9YInc/видео.html
This was so thrilling to watch haha! I love Shakey so much and this is exactly what he does to people-- blows them away and creates instant fans, instrumentally and lyrically. That entire audiotree session is 100% worth a watch, Late July is absolutely insane.
Some VICIOUS vocals
I found this video last night, and man - i've seen the video about 10 times already. The most important factor to me, is the genuine "reacting" - especially the look and reacting you have at 5:34. There is a lot of "fake" and "scripted" reacting videos out there - but you seem genuinely impressed and happy when seeing this stuff and that gives me a good feeling. I also love the fact that you stop the video and try to learn and explain why the different parts are so good as they are.
But i love your honest reaction and personality the most. Please continue doing this. Honesty is rare these days.
Subbed.
Thank you dude. Always!
"Made to roam" is awesome as well!
Oceans-John butler will make you just put the guitar down and weep
YESSS
I think that song is the first song I ever fell in love with.. 10 years ago
Johnny Killjoy it has that affect
overrated lol. coming from someone who used to enjoy his stuff
Just did Ocean! ruclips.net/video/_TxwEIyq-Wg/видео.html
I'm telling you, Shawn James is who you wanna look into next. Either Delilah or Through the Valley. You will not regret it.
Or flow is super badass also
Midnight dove is another goodie
Finally someone who is not pretending to have a reaction to music
This has to be the 10th time I have watched this video just to watch the joy on your face discovering Shakey. It takes me right back to the day I first heard him. Sometimes (like today) I come back and watch just because it makes me feel great seeing your Joy.
This entire Audiotree concert is one of his best, harkening back to his busking days in Austin
Do Old Number 7 by The Devil Makes Three
looking for someone to say TDM3 i put up aces and twos but they are the best band ever. my opinion
Yess I was just listening to that!
You do you but I'm gunna pull my wagon with my own two hands
I just listened to the song. I agree, it’s totally worth a review.
I LOVE Devil makes Three!
You know someone is the real deal when you just put the guitar down and stare in awe for the remainder of the video! Nothing wrong with your usual playing along, I quite enjoy watching you try and figure things out in real time, but it is certainly special to see a musician just stop you in your tracks haha
Check out late july by shaky graves next, you'll love it.
