Alex Kidd in Miracle World Longplay (Master System) [60 FPS]: Help Alex Kidd save the people of Radaxian in this fun, if somewhat weird platform game from Sega! Read the video description for my review!
Weird?? It's not weird. What about titles like teddy boy or fantasy zone, they are much weirder than alex Kidd. If you think about it, sonic hedgehog or and other anthropomorphic game is also a lot weirder. I'm not criticizing, just my observations and opinion. Also is this is a computer simulation or actual person playing this walk through?
Right? I don't even know what he did with that ghost block, he walked on it twice and the ghosts killed each other? edit: So I looked it up and if you can trigger a ghost and escape it, the next question box will have an Alex Kidd (1up). Never knew that. Don't think it applies to the actual ghost block you walk on.
Paul M that parts probably the easier part on that level. When I was playing this as a kid I always died on that part but eventually realised if you just go left or right with the dpad and let Alex naturally float, he never touches the spikes. Looks crazy hard but once u realise that it’s easy.
@@nochill9475 Same experience, down to the age lol. Btw, here's a fun fact...this was supposed to be a Dragon Ball game, but they lost the license and had to reskin the whole game. For example here 7:54 this was supposed to be Kid Goku on his Cloud lol

Genuinely think this should go down as one of the best games of all time. If you're in your late 30's [EDIT: Early 40's now, comment is getting old] reading this, don't deny how it captivated you as a kid. The 8-bit music, the Jenkin matches, the helicopter, the scary castle... all captured our imagination.
Omg dont get me started one ov the best games ever so wish i could play this again cant believe i found a video of it on eya been looking for it for ages
I think that, I was 9 years old, or 10 years old, when I owned the Sega Master System 2, that was either 1992, or 1993. Alex Kidd In Miracle World was built into the Sega Master System 2.
I heard about this game for a first time when he(Alex Kidd-back then I didn't know anything about this character)appeared in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. Because Sega's mascot was part of my childhood(Sega Mega Drive instead of Sega Master System). This game was made by creator of Sonic the Hedgehog(Yuji Naka),right?
This game is far harder than it looks. Unlike most other video games, if alex makes any contact with an enemy character, he automatically loses a life - in other words, it requires perfection. I applaud the highly skilled player here who appears to risk everything just to collect as much of the money bags as possible.
@@kismikola That's so nice 😊 I don't have master system anymore but I will have a try on the master system emulator. I love the retro games. The 90's were the greatest time ever. Oh man, this brings back memories of playing this at my friend Paul's house in '88-'89! I loved this game, and Shinobi...especially the arcade version of Shinobi, as they had a mini-arcade at the 7-11 by my Grandma's place, back than, and she'd give quarters to my friends and I when we'd visit her (she was about a mile or two from my parents' so I'd always visit). I was her only grandson, so she was always very good to me... Gosh, I miss her. She lived to see 100 years old, though! I can't complain about that. Also, even when she moved a little bit further away (30 minute drive), I visited her every single weekend, along with my wife who I met when Grandma was 97. I have a vauge memory playing this at a hotel or something when I was little, and hearing the music and the coin collecting sound has opened up that memory.
This guy has obviously spent hours playing this game, because when I was 6/7 I could never get to first castle, let alone the 2nd, and there was no way I would have known you had to run over the boxes in that sequence as a little kid. None the less, this takes me back.
You took a risk getting all those bags of loot. When I played this in the early 90s it was so difficult to complete. Saw my elder brother and his friend finally do it once. Classic game that holds lots of good memories man❤ also at the end of the stage I remember Alex eating a burger, not a rice ball😅
It took me a few seconds to realize what kind of game it is. We were playing it black and white and those colours confused me lol. Awesome gameplay! Thank you!
I sat here completely mesmerized as not a single life was lost and money bags were collected with such easy confidence. You have completely earned this like and sub. But what a disappointing ending! I'm thrilled I've finally seen it though🙂👍
Awesome game! Some things I never ever do on this game: 1) go after every single money bag (especially in the helicopter stages). I just go for the ones within reach 2) leave items unpurchased at the shop
Had a master system and I was lucky enough back in the day to have this built into the console, absolutely loved this game, catchy tune, and very addictive gameplay. Thanks for the video, so many awesome memories!
I remember this game was already pre-installed in the console! This was my teenage years 😢 I stopped game consoles with the Super NES before the PlayStation 1
I spent years playing this in the early nineties. Loved my Sega master system 2. Thinking of purchasing one just to remind me of my childhood. Those days were epic!
I remember getting this built into my master system 2 and almost wet myself with giddyness when I finally finished it lol. And this beats the mega drives enchanted castle hands down.
Thank you, watching this made me feel 8 years old again playing in my room, tv right down cuz it was like 3am, there was no saving back then so it was either play to finish or switch off and start again. The music will never be forgotten in this game, again thank you..
I was 8yo when my parents gave me a master system with this diamond game in its memory. Amazing to see this after so many years and console generations.
I remember having Alex Kidd In Miracle World built into my Sega Master System 2, as a child. I also remember that, every time Alex Kidd had completed a level, he got a hamburger. My favourite part of the game was, when you bought the motorbike.
This game was built into my Master System II and I played it to death. The player is amazing. This game was absolute Cuphead levels of pain. Hearing all of the music again makes me feel weird.

This guy has obviously spent hours playing this game, because when I was 6/7 I could never get to first castle, let alone the 2nd, and there was no way I would have known you had to run over the boxes in that sequence as a little kid.
None the less, this takes me back.
My world I nearly cried, I've been looking for this game for so long..
Music reminds me of staying up past my bedtime about 8 years old
Lolol. so cute :)
Nostalgia, isso lembra minha infância. 😭
A minha tbm 😅👏🏽
You took a risk getting all those bags of loot.
When I played this in the early 90s it was so difficult to complete. Saw my elder brother and his friend finally do it once. Classic game that holds lots of good memories man❤ also at the end of the stage I remember Alex eating a burger, not a rice ball😅
It took me a few seconds to realize what kind of game it is. We were playing it black and white and those colours confused me lol. Awesome gameplay! Thank you!
That music switch when you fall in the water tho 😍 oh my god I miss this
I sat here completely mesmerized as not a single life was lost and money bags were collected with such easy confidence.
You have completely earned this like and sub.
But what a disappointing ending! I'm thrilled I've finally seen it though🙂👍
Damn it, i always avoided that octopus tentacle!
I'm going to cry! I miss playing this game so much 😢
Learned a couple things I didn’t know before!
35:21 never been able to do this without the cane of flight
Impossible
That's why I'm watching this lol
That's the room I died all the times!
Sega really needs to release a master system mini.
Sega need releas a new console.I miss the Sega consoles i have all off them
Awesome game! Some things I never ever do on this game:
1) go after every single money bag (especially in the helicopter stages). I just go for the ones within reach
2) leave items unpurchased at the shop
Had a master system and I was lucky enough back in the day to have this built into the console, absolutely loved this game, catchy tune, and very addictive gameplay. Thanks for the video, so many awesome memories!
Damm...after 34 years i can realize how good i was, because i have finished this game mant times and it souds so hard to me nowadays
Damn I feel so old watching this. I used to play this all the time. I swear this was the first Mario💯💯💪🏽💪🏽
This is actually harder than it looks.
Meu Deus... Essa música me faz voltar 25 anos no tempo... Q sdd!!! Bons tempos.
I remember this game was already pre-installed in the console!
This was my teenage years 😢
I stopped game consoles with the Super NES before the PlayStation 1
I spent years playing this in the early nineties. Loved my Sega master system 2. Thinking of purchasing one just to remind me of my childhood. Those days were epic!
This game was hard. Never met a person who could pass those god damn castle levels.
I'm 34 now and I miss every moment when this got released long time ago. It was amazing time unlike the boring life we have now.
Yeah, it was a magical time.
I remember getting this built into my master system 2 and almost wet myself with giddyness when I finally finished it lol. And this beats the mega drives enchanted castle hands down.
enchanted castle isn't bad tho
Wow! Seeing this after so long. Played this game over n over during my school holidays. Thanks for uploading
Thank you, watching this made me feel 8 years old again playing in my room, tv right down cuz it was like 3am, there was no saving back then so it was either play to finish or switch off and start again. The music will never be forgotten in this game, again thank you..
**Turns enemy into a riceball**
**EATS IT**
My God ... so Long ago ... but it feels like it was yesterday . FUCK !!!
I miss gaming in the early 90's as a kid where everyone shared the console and took turns.
Yeah all the kids in my street shared games etc, and renting was a thing...good old days.
@@Umbrella2 Pourquoi pas avec la PS4 en 2020 ?
I'm now 38 and this was my childhood next gen
I was 8yo when my parents gave me a master system with this diamond game in its memory. Amazing to see this after so many years and console generations.
i remember being the first in my family to crack this game. I worked out the code from the stone, rubbed it in so much to my elder brother
I remember having Alex Kidd In Miracle World built into my Sega Master System 2, as a child. I also remember that, every time Alex Kidd had completed a level, he got a hamburger. My favourite part of the game was, when you bought the motorbike.
Whoever liked, 👍, my comment, thank you.
The US got the burger swap. Europe kept the riceball wrap. We all thought he ate white triangles, back when.
@@ColeKreviazuk, he got a hamburger at the end of the English version. I am not sure, about anywhere else in Europe. Sorry, that's all I know.
In the Netherlands Alex also ate a burger.
@@brendadefilet1313, Thank you, for letting me know. I really appreciate it, because I don't live in Holland, or The Netherlands.
I think sega would be bigger if they stuck with this guy instead of sonic. This game is really good.
This game was built into my Master System II and I played it to death. The player is amazing. This game was absolute Cuphead levels of pain. Hearing all of the music again makes me feel weird.
7:41 I could NEVER keep that pedal-copter all the way to the end of that stage. My hat is off to you good sir. Well played!
I remember playing this in 2010 and i had a plug-in-play console! i was only 7. :' D
WOW i was like 3 playing this. I totally remember!!!
I don't remember this game being as easy as you're portraying it lol
YES lol. I’m sitting here like “what? This took us soooooo long back then.”
I could do it in even less time, me and my friend did competition on this and played like 5 times through/day! 🤣🤪
@@CarChrisMC cool dude
35:22 oh my goodness you made that look so easy. I was anxious just watching you!
what a good idea to put the start button on the console =)
