OK no offense to you, but doing all bosses while taking no damage kind off sounds redundant, considering that you have to take no damage or a lot of damage to 100 percent every level. This also goes for boss battles as well since you can't use power ups to raise your star point counter to 30, so you pretty much have to do a no damage run. I'm saying this because there are 100% walkthroughs of this game, so I asked how is this different from the rest?
Again I don't mean any offense to you. I know that you do these videos to entertain the people and I can respect that. It's just a nitpick that I have is all.

@@10colej You're thinking about the World 6 bosses in *Yoshi's New Island.* The World 6 bosses from this game were Tap Tap the Red Nose (another creative one) and Baby Bowser. They're literally shown in this video. Also there was the Potted Ghost, Prince Froggy, and Sluggy the Unshaven. His point still stands.
Giant Bowser battles always instilled a sense of dread but that one was just a whole new level of fear. Those glowing yellow eyes. You can tell Bowser really was determined to defeat Yoshi and capture the babies even if it meant destroying his castle in the process. I also kind of like the twist with Bowser. Up until this point while there were some hints that Bowser was the real mastermind such as the addition of classic enemies like Goombas, Koopas, and Lakitus you just think that they are taking orders from Kamek who at the time you didn't think he worked for Bowser. You just see this guy as a bad guy that wants to capture the babies for his plan (presumably for the powers of the star children which are explained in the sequel). It isn't until you get to the final level of World 6 and you learn that Bowser could very well be behind this given the name of the castle. You fight you way through the castle and outwit Kamek and all his final traps and finally come face to face with Bowser himself. Who's also a kid in this game considering it's a prequel. Bowser angered by Kamek's countless failures punishes him by pounding him into the floor and fights Yoshi himself. He's defeated but with the last of his power Kamek casts his most dangerous spell yet on his king's behalf. Bowser grows to such a massive size it destroys the castle and Yoshi is now forced to fight the now fully powered tyrant on the ruins of his castle in one of the most epic final fights in SNES (or GBA) history. In the end despite his best efforts Bowser is defeated and shrinks back to normal but not before Kamek flies in and says that one day his master will return stronger then ever. Kamek laughs hysterically as he scoops up Bowser and flies off into the distance. The battle has been won but the long war between Mario, Luigi, and the Yoshis vs the King of The Koopas has just begun.

Man, it’s all coming back to me now. This was my first Gameboy Advance game when I was 5 years old. The Bowser boss stage was indeed terrifying for me to defeat.
Okay so recently I started playing Yoshi's Island (the GBA version) again, about 7¼ years after first completing the SNES version, and I'm def going to keep your method of defeating Tap-Tap in mind, because who would've expected that! Thanks for indirectly giving a very good tip! 😂😆
I'm ranking bosses on how brutal their defeat cutscene is. (Baby Bowser not included.) 11: Burt the Bashful. This boss has been seen in most Yoshi games so He probably just gets reflated every time. 10: Marching Milde. He just sort of... well, this scene has its fair share of cruel, but it's a simple way to go out. 9: Hookbill the Koopa. Although the Koopa might of died because of the fall, there's no sound affect so he must of landed on something soft. 8: Salvo the Slime. Even though he spurts out his slime, he kind of can create clones of himself so he might be okay. maybe. 7: Tap-Tap the Red Nose. despite falling in lava, he is made out of metal, which (depending on the heat of the lava) might keep him alive. 6: Bigger Boo. Boos hate light. need I say more? YOU'RE KILLING HIM WITH HIS MAIN WEAKNESS! at least the other bosses go out in creative ways! 5: The Potted Ghost. Alright, this might of been at number eleven because he's already a ghost but due to the fact you see rubble fly up proves something bad happens. 4: Raphael the Raven. Okay. I'm pretty sure only guys will understand this but... look at what happens when you deal damage to him. done. 3: Naval Piranha. When this guy goes out, he... turns into dust. wow. dark. cool. DARK. 2: Prince Froggy. all I hear from his guy is "ha Ha y0shI weNt Out thE bUtt HA ha" well... LOOK AT THIS GUY WHEN YOU SEE HIM AGAIN. HE'S MOST LIKELY DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1: Sluggy the Unshaven. You destroy his heart. IF YOUR HEART EXPLODED, YOU WOULD DIE INSTANTLY. not to mention he just... droops down the castle as his gloppy dead body slithers down the screen.
All Bosses: 1. That One Guy WHo Wears His Pants Way Too High. 2. Pure Saliva. 3. Big Slimer 4. He Died From Too Much Pot. 5. If you kiss me i'll become big and eat you alive. 6. Sergeant Venus Fly Trap. 7. White Kirby. 8. I like turtles. 9. Hairy Slug 10. A Big Raven With Name Of A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (TMNT). 11. Red-Nosed Spike Boi. 12. Humongus Turtus (Turtle Mixed WIth Big Chungus). Bonus: THE END!
It's brilliant how the bosses become more complicated step by step. Boss 1: Shoot an egg to damage it. Boss 2: Shoot an egg at the right time, and reload by swallowing enemies. Boss 3: Ricochet an egg. Boss 4: Push an object and juggle this with evading attacks. Boss 5: Shoot an egg accurately. Boss 6: Shoot an egg accurately, at the right time and via ricochet. Boss 7: Ground Pound a multiplying enemy. Boss 8: Shoot an egg accurately multiple times in a row with the shot becoming progressively harder. Boss 9: Same as Boss 8, but now there's a time limit. Boss 10: Ground pound an enemy at the right time. Boss 11: Ricochet eggs to destroy the environment while taking care not to fall. Final Boss: Shoot eggs accurately, under a time limit, while evading attacks and pitfalls, and your eggs now travel in an arc.
I've been playing this game for 20 years, and never once did I realize you can stop the egg toss crosshairs at a certain position. I always thought it was part of the game to line up the shot and release the egg at just the right time.
Danny Johnson Except for Hookbill the Koopa..he doesn't just get big,his appareance changes a lot becoming more deformed with that strange faces..like he went insane

5:10 I always remember how scarred yoshi looked 😂

Me too
This game has a few of the best sound tracks I have ever heard in a Mario game (or a Yoshi game)
ShadowKats-Art Official same. This and Super Mario World at my favorites soundtrack wise
I never understood why kamek couldn't have just made yoshi smaller in every battle, he could've done that to begin with
Allan Brown because plot
The game would seem repetitive
He did in prince froggies fight
what if Kamek would fight the player directly
@@xyzzy-dv6te why?
3 words:Yoshi's new island
was nintendo on drugs when they made the prince froggy fight?
Clark DeFiesta when aren’t they on drugs lmao
@Clark DeFiesta, yeah because, when you hit his uvula 12 times, his stomach flashes from red to green then yellow then blue. :dysGisting: Oh, wait! I'm not on Dystifyzer's live Nintendo music steam!
You say Nintendo like it's a single person.
What about the raven one you have to shove a log in it's ass
You missed the boss where you hit its heart?
Man, it’s all coming back to me now. This was my first Gameboy Advance game when I was 5 years old. The Bowser boss stage was indeed terrifying for me to defeat.
Okay so recently I started playing Yoshi's Island (the GBA version) again, about 7¼ years after first completing the SNES version, and I'm def going to keep your method of defeating Tap-Tap in mind, because who would've expected that! Thanks for indirectly giving a very good tip! 😂😆
Holy fuck, that was the fastest Tap Tap kill I've ever seen!
Agreed.
Nicholas Miller yeah dude
Nicholas Profasia is a pro in every game :D :)
i feel bad for it
One of the stories Yoshi did not tell Mario when he got older.
10:14 Yoshi looks like a gangster and then he just goes back to normal
The yellow and blue Yoshis are such glory hogs.
Zenardo They are the motherfucker bad-asses like Rambo and Terminator in the Yoshi's Island population
Zenardo lol
Greens the mvp tho
0:06 Best Part About Yoshis Island
I'm ranking bosses on how brutal their defeat cutscene is. (Baby Bowser not included.)
11: Burt the Bashful.
All Bosses:
1. That One Guy WHo Wears His Pants Way Too High.
2. Pure Saliva.
3. Big Slimer
4. He Died From Too Much Pot.
5. If you kiss me i'll become big and eat you alive.
6. Sergeant Venus Fly Trap.
7. White Kirby.
8. I like turtles.
9. Hairy Slug
10. A Big Raven With Name Of A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (TMNT).
11. Red-Nosed Spike Boi.
12. Humongus Turtus (Turtle Mixed WIth Big Chungus).
Bonus: THE END!
I think you mean 2. Pure mucus not saliva
I used to love this game as a kid! What a wonderful childhood memories...
They should remaster this game
roylee23 berry yes! Finally someone else aside from me who thinks that!
Something like Yoshi's new island 2.0
Agreed with the music remastered but not deviating from the originals. I miss the underground theme this game blessed us with.
Terrance Turner oh my God, I've never heard better underground theme music that could top the one from Yoshi Island Advance
Have Baby Luigi as a playable character too
It's brilliant how the bosses become more complicated step by step.
I was obsessed w/ this game when I was little. Such a sweet burst of nostalgia.
I've been playing this game for 20 years, and never once did I realize you can stop the egg toss crosshairs at a certain position. I always thought it was part of the game to line up the shot and release the egg at just the right time.
Baby Bowser Final boss is one of the most epic and most scary boss fights in the history of video gaming
I agree.
12:26 "Wait, we already won? We don't even know what his name is..."
2:50 Yoshi dear, that baby is going to mean disaster for the Koopas! So give him here before you get hurt by accident!
I like how Naval Piranha is more badass as Lava Piranha in Paper Mario 64, and Raphael The Raven is a helpful NPC and they appear in the same chapter.
11:40 "team rocket is blasting off again!"
😂😂😂😂
Lol
BRUH
Does anyone else notice that pretty much every boss just becomes bigger?
Except for the 5th one, cuz your shrunk. But otherwise, the player could just turn it into an egg
Danny Johnson Except for Hookbill the Koopa..he doesn't just get big,his appareance changes a lot becoming more deformed with that strange faces..like he went insane
Alex Martian20147 and naval piranha. She grows tentacles with piranha plant heads on them
Aquatic Sparrow but lated too much and the frog ate the player
That's the appearance of a koopa when you shrink
5:07 yoshi will remember this
Yep
He'll be the first Male character to remember something.
6:28 Kamek I don’t feel so good
Oh no- xd
And why is Yoshi eating it? LOL
I've realized that kamen is more mad the farther yoshi gose.
3:23 Watching a Shy Guy run has never been so intense
3:06 I love the sound purple yoshi makes when he pushes the pot around. 😂

OMG this was and still is my absolute favorite old game boy game! I still have it and sometimes even play it 😍😍
Yoshi’s face at 5:14 is so priceless, like “What did I just go through?”
Exactly it's like: "guys, I've seen things... very horrible things"
Yellow Yoshi’s face when he got out of the frog was like “You saw nothing!”
This game brings back memories from my childhood man that was such a great game
The nostalgia is REAL!
This year I started playing classic games from my past (e.g. Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World), and then seeing this brought me so much memories 😭
I like how Burt the Bashful chose to end his existence simply because he was embarrassed. xD
12:57 Yoshi looks like he wants to say COME HERE FISHY FISHY

Prince Froggy is still the only boss in Yoshi Island history that isn’t a grand-Mac sized version of a normal enemy

I am so glad that there are a lot more people who played this game then I previously thought! Brings tears to my eyes lol anyone here also play Tetris Attack on the SNES? It's my favorite game of all time!!
