Seeing people react to SA is hilarious, we are so numb to seeing all this craziness on a daily that we forget it is crazy. It truly is a comedy here lmao
Our loadshedding has gotten better in the past few months as it only happens once a day. I'm not sure where some of the events take place but I assume it's in the busy urban areas cause in my area there's no such crazy stuff happening like normally. It has to be a once off incident
Depending on the stage of loadshedding, electricity is of mostly for two hours, three times a day. It's bad but at least there's a schedule so we can plan around it. Just a basic solar system helps but most South Africans can't afford it.
(Unimportant fact) Plp who lack English speaking in SA are made fun of as being uneducated. So everytime someone destroys the English language their made fun of. This discourages some or incourage some to improve their English skills.
Loadshedding is not nice to South Africans because for years we were used to electricity 24/7 without paying. Supplying electricity to our neighbouring countries is affecting us big time also. But if we have to be truthful, it is sheduled. Except for the time the meter boxes are tempered with by us residents and maybe a mini station has technical problems, we have more than 12 hours of electricity daily and the shedding is once, twice or thrice in between. Today in my area it is off 08h00-10h00, and 16h00-18h00, and all the other hours it is on - Stage 4. Do not be scared to come to South Africa based on loadshedding. Other African countries are the ones with lesser electricity but as African we are used to surviving without it. I grew up in the times where a candle light was brighter than a street light. Honest PR for SA. Hola!!!
Please come visit SA soon? Willing to host you, living in Cape Town but I travel everywhere in SA. You'll see some of the things we laugh at because we don't have an option to cry 🤷🏽♀️
Am a fashion designer and lights been out since 06h00 coming back 08h00, then again maybe 12h00/ 14h00 it's a struggle we businesses are struggling it's toooooomuchhhh
Airtime is $1.. one thing about south African men is that they think twice before spending a dime on a woman 😅. It's the craziest thing I've ever seen. Here's a more practical example. Girl: I'm getting a bit hungry, I forgot to eat when I left home. (Normally you'd expect a guy to just buy some food, it's not that deep...but, homeboy on the other hand comes in with the..) Boy: Eish, so what are you going to do? I promise you Africans are built different 🤣
I am enjoying myself as I watch your reactions and input. We go so many days without anything hilarious. on a Friday like this when almost everyone got paid during the week it becomes crazy and the next three weeks we are a very serious South Africa. 🤣
"yerrrrrr" is used to signify shock, something one ddnt expect. just as you could say "daaaamn/shiiiiiiiiiii!" you will find people in Southern Africa using that, not only S.A. Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, eSWATINI, e.t.c
In some areas it's is quite bad man shame but in the area in live in about 3to 4 hours a day. But this year it's gotten worse. The pandemic just flipped everything upside down.
Im in zimbabwe and cant remember a day lights went out😂..at this point they need to borrow some electricity from us..come with buckets, achers and hosepipe amaSasko come get it😂
We don't have loadshedding stage that is more than 4 hours at any given time. People are just exaggerating or misinformed. There might be loadshedding coupled with a breakdown, only that might take it to more than 4 hours.
Ka ncane ka ncane uyavela wena(you are beginning to reveal yourself) . This is such a punch line. To say I love Fam is an under statement. Keep them coming 🤣🤣🤣
Loadshedding is so bad that international companies (automotive in particular) are losing units in manufacturing, so workers are going into short- time / pay cuts. I love my country, but this is all so wrong.
SA has over population of cars & the town planners didn't anticipate that we would have lots of cars. So the life designs of public roads is overwhelmed by the number of cars & with the energy crisis it's gotten worse. California is notorious when it comes to traffic but it's not nothing new to us, I was there some years ago & Cali ain't got sh*t on JHB 😅
guys i think you need to hear from other Americans who are here in SA coz electricity never goes 8 hours from where am from coz we pay for it... that happens in soweto n thembisa only coz those are the areas with no bills there they don't pay bills at all
We have one electricity company called eskom in South Africa. Run by the ANC government. Due to mismanagement, corruption, sabotage, cable theft, old infrastructure amongst others, we experience loadshedding 3 to 4 hours a day for between 2 to 4 hours a time. The economy has been affected, households and food prices are rocketing. Poverty increased. Job losses, small businesses closing down. This country is a mess because of it and it is getting worse. Billions have been lost or stolen. We have truly become a 3rd world country
Hey look at the bright side, in recent years people didn't think much about loadshading and they grew accustomed to it but now people are taking action
I hear you Charlene but which country isn't experiencing rising costs of food and everything you mentioned? The ANC has really messed up for sure but a little positivity would do us good. We are South Africans, we've always been able to get back up, now won't be any different 🙏🏽.
The Valentine's Reaction at the end was very funny but the post reaction dialogue didn't chime into the crust of the context from what said to how it correlates to the title of the snippet.Overall great reaction
That scene in parliament reminds me of something that was shown on TV when I was a teenager which I've never forgotten. It was an insult one politician yelled out to another one and in my opinion it's the best one I've ever heard. He yelled out "You have the mouth of a Hippo (Hippopotamus) and the brain of a Flea!"
What should we react to next??? Use the link forms.gle/1smG2aM3BpV72sJv7
Not Oh my God it's Jesus
please react on couples switching phones #niyathandana na?
SA is not a movie, it's a series where everything is a joke. But that makes us unique
I can already imagine telling my life story to an American 😂
Seeing people react to SA is hilarious, we are so numb to seeing all this craziness on a daily that we forget it is crazy. It truly is a comedy here lmao

I enjoy the funny reactions so much. Life can be grim in these 🇿🇦streets, so some comic relief is good for the soul.
We do as well. We’ll post more on The Demouchets REACT 2.0 soon.
"Yerrr" it's a sign of being shocked. In one of your reactions one guy explained what is "yeses". Both are the same thing

Where I reside, we don't experience loadshedding.

Why so grim Charlene
@@PrincessVelaryon 0ne cant help feeling grim because our politicians are living their best lives while us ordinary citizens suffer
Hey look at the bright side, in recent years people didn't think much about loadshading and they grew accustomed to it but now people are taking action
@Mike Nobody yes, that's definitely a positive 🙂 Change is coming
I hear you Charlene but which country isn't experiencing rising costs of food and everything you mentioned? The ANC has really messed up for sure but a little positivity would do us good. We are South Africans, we've always been able to get back up, now won't be any different 🙏🏽.
