The flooding doesn't happen with every rain season..it depends on how much rain we get at a time obviously. This rain season has been crazy though..so many farms are under water..but it also doesn't affect your entire journey..some areas are more prone to floods than others so it really depends on where you will be going
This is good to know. We will check the weather in advance before flights and hope for the best.
Yeah @@TheDemouchetsREACTfor a tourist who watches weather warnings, it is just easier to just pack up and move to another part of the country when bad weather is predicted for where you are. It could be summer beach weather in Cape Town while there are days of flooding up north somewhere, OR we could have our winter rainy season here in Cape Town while it's sunny beach weather in Durban, which happens to be the place that gets the most floods.
It's all seasonal for different parts of the contry so I'm sure y'all will figure it out.
You see an accident: any taxi you see around there is the problem. Or VW Polo. Those are the two groups of trouble makers on the roads 🤞🏿🇿🇦🥳

I used to live in Durban now I'm in Cape Town I have never seen a flood in my entire South African life. I heard on the news that last year there was flood in KZN.🤷🏽♂️

Fyi. South Africa and the whole of the continent doesn't have extreme weathers like most parts of the world. Flooding like that is extremely rare that's why people seem so unprepared and lost when it happens.

We once fitted 8 people in a polo, coming from an after club party, at 4:30 am… I miss my young days so much. 18 to 30 years of age is a great age to be in South Africa!!!!
