I am South African and I think Khaligraph Jones is the best African Rapper in a sense that he raps in a way that you can tell a African is rapping and also his style is definitely from this continent and we love it and are proud. Nasty C on the other hand is a beast as he has a level of competing with Americans and if played on their local radio stations they wouldn't even know the guy ain't from there. He is born and bread in South Africa and he works world wide and last I remember was signed by Jay Def Jam
Akon from Senegal, also Nasty C was born and raised in SA however y'all don't know how much American hip hop has influenced ours so that is why he raps in that accent but his not the only one here in South Africa

It's shocking that in 2023 some Americans still expect africans to reflect the stereotypes they watch in their news. I am South African and live a very modern life similar to any urban citizen across the world. Our mucicians are similar. Some of us live very well and our country is well developed and very beautiful, we are not the stereotypes on the news, you need to travel the world and get out of the box you live in.
