there is a weird thing about the horned king. In the french rules you can play a revived skeletons card if your cauldron is on, you can use a play a card action spot to play a card without turning a skeleton.
Great Question! Right now, I am super loving the Despicable Plots Expansion with Syndrome, Lotso, and Madam Mim!! But, to go more in depth, do you like more of the puzzle characters? Or the simpler characters? If you can explain what you enjoy most from a villain, I can try to point you to the best expansion!
I like more the puzzle characters like Jafar and hook the simple ones are also fun but I like the bit more complex a bit more and I am German here the descpicable plot expansion is not out yet even though it looks really fun.
I think the 2 best puzzle characters are Tremaine (despicable plots) or Ratigan (Evil comes prepared) although I still think Wicked to the Core is the best expansion as all 3 villains are great
I think you might of had a bad experience cuz the horned king for me isn't to bad to play as, and unlucky draws after the card "I believe in you" was played but it's not the worst card. The worst card in that deck by far is gurgis sacrifice. That is like the 1 card you really don't want to be played.

Great Question! We have been enjoying the most recent Bigger and Badder pack a TON! (Syndrome, Madam Mim, Lotso). Other than that, my next 2 would probably be Evil Comes Prepared (Scar, Yzma, Ratigan) and then Wicked to the Core (Evil Queen, Hades, Dr, Facilier). Following that: Despicable Plots (Gaston, Lady Tremaine, Horned King) and lastly: Perfectly Wretched (Cruella De Vil, Mother Gothel, Pete). (By the way, I asked on my community post just now which pack is everyone's favorites. I am hoping there is some good information to help you there as well!) I don't have all the expansions yet, but my least favorite Villain is Prince John. His objective is just boring to complete. And to top it off, fating him can sometimes not even hurt him too bad if he gets set up beforehand.
