Foxton Locks - A-Z Quiet Walks (147)

Foxton Locks located on the outskirts of the market town of Market Harborough.
The locks are a great find, compact, well signposted, extensive parking (best to have cash), pubs, cafes, museum, picnic area’s and great Quietwalks!
Watch for the camera shy Weasel 🐾
We found the Canal & River Trust volunteers very knowledgeable and keen to help, thank you.

The museum is a delight and certainly worth a visit, as the area has a fascinating history including the Unique Incline Boat Lift which is a Scheduled Ancient Monument -
