  • This is the Fifth of my new series of videos showing a short taster of recent visits. Working my way from A to Z, fingers crossed I’ll find suitably named places of interest.
These are my Top 11 places of Interest in Edgbaston, of course Edgbaston has a wide selection of eating places in particular Simpsons - www.simpsonsrestaurant.co.uk/
    a Michelin Star Restaurant.
Most of Edgbaston's area is controlled by the Calthorpe Estate which has developed and managed the area, making it a desirable place to work and live. www.calthorpe.co.uk/
Not forgetting the Queen Elizabeth Hospital adjacent to the University of Birmingham
The Barber Institute of Fine Arts - barber.org.uk/
    Winterbourne House & Gardens - www.winterbourne.org.uk/
The Birmingham Botanical Gardens - www.birminghambotanicalgarden...
    Edgbaston Village - edgbastonvillage.co.uk/
    Tolkien’s Childhood Homes - sites.google.com/view/thesing...

Thank you for sharing. A great walk. The blossom looks beautiful. Love the botanical gardens. We must visit there again soon. The village looks stunning and was good to see the folly. You fitted a lot of places in. Was great to watch.. Have a lovely weekend. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️

Thanks for watching and your comments it’s certainly appreciated. Edgbaston is a little gem! it’s kept and managed by the Calthorpe Estate as is its near neighbour the Bournville Trust, both being highly favoured places to live with property prices to match. The towers in Waterworks Road are believed to have inspired The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien. Take care and best wishes. Graham 👣
