IKON Gallery - A-Z Quiet Walks (150)

The IKON gallery, has been part of the Birmingham art scene since the 1960’s
and has been at its current home since March 1998 (formally Oozells St Board School)
The gallery is the ‘cheerleader’ for the arts in the Midlands and is an Internationally acclaimed contemporary art venue in Birmingham with Free Entry.
Point of interest the IKON and Brindley Place has been used in the current ‘Chinese MG Car’ TV ad.

Thank you for watching, I have been visiting the IKON for many years. Some of the recent exhibitions have not really been to my taste, hopefully this will change! especially as sadly the main Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery has been mothballed with no dates given for reopening. Point of interest the IKON and Brindley Place has been used for the current ‘Chinese MG Car’ TV ad which I only realised last night. Wishing you both a great SUNNY Bank holiday. Graham
