Thank you SO much. After an IOS upgrade yesterday, my hearing aids would not connect and were stuck in DEMO mode. I’ve watched numerous other You Tube videos and none were successful EXCEPT for yours! So THANK YOU!!
Hi Sheryl! We are so glad you were able to get your devices reconnected to your phone. The latest iOS update created a lot of chaos for a bit with hearing aid connections. Thank you for your kind words. We're glad we got the chance to be a resource for you!
Thank you SO much. I have watched other videos and this is the only one that resolved my issues. After an IOS upgrade , my Resound hearing aids were stuck in demo mode and would never connect. Again, THANK YOU!
Thank you, my left hearing aid was not paired, but my right one was. They are now both paired & I sent this video to myself in case this happens again. 👍🏻👍🏻👂🏻👂🏻
The music totally was annoying because I had only one hearing aid working & the last thing I needed was the music noise on as the audiologist is talking . Thank you 😮
Great video! I have a QUESTION: I'm thinking of switching from Phonak L90R's, to ReSound RU90C-DRWC, cut cannot work out how to connect to my windows PC for online meetings. I've connected ReSound to my iPhone fine as you and my AuD instructed, but I do not see any Bluetooth device on my PC when in pairing mode on the ReSound aids. Do they not have the ability to stream sound from a windows PC? It may be a deal breaker. I like the ReSound better from a general hearing perspective, but I need to be able to conduct Zoom, Teams, and other online meetings, and don't want to use headphones or external speakers. Thanks for your advice, Doc... or anyone else who wants to weigh in.
Hi there! This is a great question. You can stream from your PC to the Resounds, however you need the TV Streamer 2 to be able to do so. You would connect the TV Streamer through your headphone jack in the PC and pair your aids to the TV Streamer. When you're ready to stream, simply engage the TV Streamer and you can hear Zoom calls and any audio directly to the aids, like you are doing with your Phonak devices. Since you're connected through the head phone jack, you can then take it to the tv and stream audio from your tv to your aids. Any guests can hear the tv at their preferred volume, and then you have it in your aids directly. Hope this helps and solves your PC/streaming challenge! www.resound.com/en-us/hearing-aids/accessories/tv-hearing-aid
Hmm I got my hearing aids all paired up. I can change the volume on the Resound 3D app. They show up in the blue Tooth settings section as a paired device. But When I push the connect button a pop up says "An app is needed to use the device." But you can not push that pop up to take you to that app needed. Any idea what app is needed?
Good evening, by having the Resound app, this should allow you to make adjustments. We hope you have the issue resolved to get the most out of your devices.
For Resound, they will only pair to Apple and some Android products. But, there may be a compatible adapter to serve as the in between. It's recommended to contact your hearing professional to see what would work best with your current Resound technology.
Could I suggest to you that when you attempting to speak to hearing users and other hard of hearing clients, please please please eliminate the background music. Thanks Jarlath
When you go to pair your iPad, follow the same instructions/steps, but make sure to turn off the Bluetooth on your phone. This will allow your iPad to connect to the aids. Once connected, be sure to the turn off Bluetooth on the device you are not interested in using since your aids can only be paired to one device at a time.
Good evening, Without seeing it, we're not entirely certain but it sounds like only one of the aids is connecting via Bluetooth. Maybe the opposite aid is not sending out the signal like it should? If you have rechargeable aids, on the aid that isn't pairing, possibly try a hard restart. To do this, hold down the power button for about 15 seconds. Turn the aid back on and see if it will connect then. If it doesn't you'll want to contact your hearing professional or Resound directly. We wish we could help more, but hopefully this is the solution.

We hate to hear you're still having trouble. A few other things to try: Make sure your hearing aids are charged or have new batteries. Sometimes there is enough power to keep the aid running for communication purposes, but not enough to power the Bluetooth connections. Another, check which brand you have for this video (Phonak and Unitron aids have a different way of pairing). And make sure the aids are Bluetooth compatible in general. If they are Resound, Linx, Linx2, Line 3D, Quattro, the One, and Key (levels 3 & 4) are compatible. We hope this helps!
None of the other official sources explained about how to disconnect from old hearing aids! THANKS!
We're so happy you found this helpful!
Agree with Sheryl, spent over an hour trying to pair my hearing aids. After watching your video, got it on the first try. Thank you!!!

Do you know if we can pair the resound aids to an AirFly Bluetooth device to use on airplanes?
