    My issue is that I can not get notifications in my hearing aid when I get alerts for things like reminders, text messages or voice mails. Everything else seems to be working properly.
    Continue the great work. JimE

    Believe the latest iPhone update made this problem.
    Normally use the forget the L or R make a reconnect, but not now😳
    Any others that seen this happening?

    I have ReSound RT961-DRWC hearing aids used with an iPhone 14 Pro. Everything seems to work fine except when I'm on the phone with someone. I hear them just fine, but my voice volume is too low for them to hear me. The phone's microphones are clear. It workd fine when I'm on speaker, just not when I'm listening with my hearing aids. On my iphone 6s, the phone Settings control the left aid when I change phone settings for the right aid and vice versa. The app shows no connection to left hearing aid when I turn off the right hearing aid and vice versa. My audiologist has checked that the hearing settings are programmed to the correct aids in the audiology department, when I sent them in for her to investigate, but When the this hasn't solved the reversed controls problem on my phone Settings and app. When my aids were first paired with my phone there was no problem. I have done all the troubleshooting steps in this video. How do I reverse the directions on the phone? Many thanks

    I have tried everything you mentioned. When I turn my hearing aids off then back on to pair it, it will show up for a split second then they make a “low, high, low” chime and wont show up on my phone at all.. I also work in construction industry and so if I start to sweat they will also chime 8 times 4 times in a row… I am assuming its because there is too much moisture getting in them… Is that also why my bluetooth stopped as well? I tried looking it up and someone said it was cause they need to be serviced.. It is hard for me to get in to get them looked at because i work a camp job 6 days on 1 day off and the one day off is Sunday. Thank you hope you can help.

    • @TheHearingGuy
      @TheHearingGuy  2 года назад

      Hey Murray
      Contact your audiologist and ask them to send out a drying cup for you to store the hearing aids in at night. This should draw out any moisture that builds up during the course of the day. Let me know if this helps. If not it sounds like they may need to go away and be looked at. Thanks for watching!

Often when I move my eyeglasses one of the hearing aids will loose whatever is being streamed to my hearing aids. It is always with the same hearing aid. Any ideas what may be causing this?

    They work great with the iPad gen 10 and android though. I shut off the Bluetooth on the iPad and android thinking it was stealing signal, no dice

    I've got a unique situation that I'd like some feedback on. I have encountered a strange issue when pairing devices for family members. We have 2 iPhones and 2 sets of ReSound hearing aids, but only one Apple ID. It keeps dropping and switching connectivity to the ReSound app for each person. If you go to the Accessibility-->Hearing Devices, it shows as connected to the other phone. In another instance, it shows connected to one persons device, but when the other person starts using her iPhone, it drops connection to his iPhone. Has anyone see anything like this? I'm thinking it has something to do with the shared Apple ID or Bluetooth roaming on Apple OS devises.

    I lost my pair of Widex Evoke a week ago and I picked up my new pair from Audiologist office, they seemed to be working fine but I didn’t pair them with my iPhone 13 while in the office. I was in a hurry to get back to work. So I tried pairing them when I returned to work and they will not Pair!! My Bluetooth is on, have fresh new batteries installed and while trying to pair, my iPhone goes black and I have to turn it back on, this happened several times. This also happened to my wife’s iPhone 12, so it’s not the phones. Also, when I close the battery slot, the aides usually state Right or Left, these are not doing that but I hear 1 chime. I believe I have a defective pair? Calling my Audiologist office when they open in the morning. Please help, what do you think is wrong?

    My Kirkland ks10 hearing aids pair quite easily with my iPhone 8 plus . However I can't get audio such as RUclips to go directly to the hearing aids.. The RUclips is playing on the phone but I am only hearing it through the normal hearing aid function mics. My Bluetooth headphones pair easily also and the phone immediately switches to the Bluetooth output !

    My resound Preza were pairing perfect with my iphone, but two weeks ago it fails. They work ok but I cannot pair them. I took them to Costco and they say they are OK but they can't fix the problem and gave me a resound phone number and a web site, but both do not WORK! I need the pairing but the web site does not help and they do not answer the phone. I tried to delete the app and reloaded it but the pairing does not work.

    I was able to pair my hearing aids with my iPhone but I still can't get media audio in the hearing aids. My bluetooth is on, in settings, but under bluetooth there is the word "devices" and a spinning "wheel". Not sure if that is the problem or where else in settings I can switch something to allow for media audio to resume. (I've had it in the past, just got a new iPhone 12)
