All I can say is wow to your videos they are by far the best informative, glad I found you. Wish you were here in fl. I would gladly pay for techs. Time set up my resound hearing aides I go to VA clinic always a different person. I really appreciate the VA just not satisfied when I leave audiology,.try again in morning
By the way, ReSound is getting easier on the connections now. It's a little easier to do by yourself but I never make my patients do that. I do it for them!

@@HearingSolutionCtr went to clinic (audiology) this past Friday told tech right hearing aid not working but can stream with it (tv) left hearing aid working but not streaming (tv).she said right hearing aid needs to sent to Denver for repair and left I need to bring in my streaming device to pair it. 3 weeks Away that’s how it works (another appointment) when I got home tryed pairing hearing aids to I phone (with resound app) some other person’s name comes up (Kennith) what the hell my name is Dennis.I give up.followed your 3 you tube tutorial to a tee. My name is Dennis not Kennith. What a mess.took screen shot of trying to pair with Kennith name don’t know how to send it why would his name be there

Thank you for this video. I followed right along with you and was able to pair my ReSound hearing aids with my Android phone using the ReSound app. However, I'm having problems streaming audio including phone calls. After reviewing the compatible Android phones, it appears that Motorola phones are not compatible with these hearing aids.
You must have a new Android having series 10 software. I don't know which one of the Motorolas you have. Getting an iPhone is preferred since the pairing is 1000X easier and more long term efficient with all hearing aids of any manufacturer. But the new S21 and the ones above are great phones to pair.
@@HearingSolutionCtrThank you for your reply. I have a Motorola Android phone which is running Android 11. What is strange is that I can control my hearing aids with the app but cannot stream audio. I have emailed ReSound customer service to see if they can help.
Dr Scott . Thanks so much for your great videos explaining the Pros & Cons . You mentioned that in order to utilize newest Bluetooth technology in Hearing devices , we have to buy newer phones . Like IPhone 10, 11 , 12 Etc . I have an iPhone 6 + & I need to get a later model . But will an Apple Watch also provide all the bells & whistles in the new Apps to the same functionality as I phones would for Signia etc .? I am planning to buy 5 RIC-Li CROS Premium . Rechargeable batteries . Am I making a good choice ? My health insurance Co will reimburse me up to &300 on an Apple Watch Purchase . But not for an IPhone . Thanks
Signia is not my favorite hearing aid. I don't like the way it hooks up to an iPhone. Yes...the iPhone 6 will not hook up to newer phones. You will need a newer one.
Oh yes you can. Update your iPhone to at least the ios 14.8, then download the RESOUND SMART 3D app. First go to turn on your bluetooth....Click SETTINGS, ACCESSIBILTY, HEARING AIDS, make the phone search for your hearing aids. Once they see them then click PAIR for each one. Then open SMART 3D app. It will walk you through the steps...it will search then may ask you to open and shut your door once. Then it will search and upload. Once it's finished it will work fine.
Sometimes people need to turn off their phone and turn it on. Then go back where you were and forget this one again. If that doesn't help, sometimes people need to have the Audiologist do it for you. Other times if your phone is older, there are error codes in the software. They may not be resolved with that phone.
An iMac? There is no specific route through the aids to the iMac. You need a bridger device. Your Audiologist can order (normally a $500 device) that I refer to as a TV device that when you hook it up to your computer, it will bridge over to your hearing aids through the app. But iMacs don't have direct connectors to the Bluetooth of the aids.
@@DrScottYoung Isn't that interesting. YOu would think Apple would realize the shortfall here. I own a very new IPAD and a new Iphone and have no problems connecting to both devices. Just really odd and disappointing that this does not work for my IMAC
You can only have one BT device working at a time. That's always been the case whether you had hearing aids or not. Not my rules but how phones work. Think of it this way...why would you want your speakers outside the house on for music, and the beats, and your hearing aids all at once? You can only do one at a time.
@@DrScottYoung I understand, but my old hearing aids from resound did. I got an upgrade and now can’t get them too connect. Now mind you it was my” turtle Beach” headset for my computer. Isn’t that what the MFI connections are for?
@@davidbougourd8650 OK surprised me...because I had never seen them go through. That would be a firmware update that Apple/Android did to take away that feature point.
It depends upon which ones you are talking about because I think the Quattros and the Omnias (newest ones) are REALLY good for streaming. I do not believe that some of their older ones like the Lynx2D or 3D were as good for Streaming though.

I have had no problem connect my reSound hearing aid to Iphone 6.; but i did decide to upgrade anyway to iphone 11
iPhone 6 is really old...we recommend 10 and above for iPhones to hook up!

G7 sounds like an older phone. Needs to be about less than two year old phones for Android types

when the screen Geraldine has Resound RE961-DRWC I cannot hit on it because it is saying underneath...'FORGET THIS ONE"....help

Yes I have Samsung galaxy s20 ultra and I can't get any sound from you tube. I can only control the volume, setting and pairing.
The S20 has been a pain in the butt for the whole industry. It's one of the worst phones. I recommend you replacing it.

Why can't I hear my voice messages on my iphone 11?
1. Restart phone.
2. Re-pair the hearing aids
3. If those don't work, it might be the phone.
What if it’s not pairing with iPhone
If phones are older than iPhone 8-10 they won't pair, if phones are not newer ones then they don't work.
I want to know how to connect my hearing to my beats headphones. So I can hear the music threw my hearing AIDS and my headphones.

Resound hearing aids good but horrible for streaming
