Awesome looking truck Chet
Love your new truck, and love the whole vibe all of you put off. The Larson Family are just plain ol good people and I enjoy learning from you! Thank you and stay blessed Chet, you are a strong man! 🌻🌷🌺😉
Poor Eric, great explanation but the man looks tired.
Nice new toy!! Check out Tyler Potters channel with bits n pieces to keep your TRX in top-top condition plus preventative stuff. Have fun fella!!
Need to stop complaining about harvest yield if you have a new TRX.... it's kind of a contradiction... and I love you videos but 100mph on a wet public road is irresponsible and a bad example for younger viewers....
Come on Karen let him have some fun with the content. Kids are going to do it regardless.
Nice truck
Love the new truck
Sweet Truck Chet..loving the colour 🤘🤘
Nice new truck. Let Dougo drive it see if he gets in trouble with it lol
So free advice on how to stay out of trouble......call Mrs. Amy every morning and say, "Hey momma, did I tell you I bought a truck with 705HP"? She will remind you about staying out of trouble. lol
Yay! Scammers!!!!
Really been excited for this video
Eric needs to go buy the new ford raptor R. That will make for a good time.
OK take out your key pick an out of the way spot put a small scratch on it so you can stop stressing out about scratching it
Why in the world would they put a grease fitting down there and not run a line out to a accessable place?
Because most of the time those lines break and you think you’re greasing it and you’re not. That’s why.
Wet asphalt, curves and 700hp is how you get in trouble.
Yeah crash waiting to happen on wet asphalt! Be safe Chet.
also, dry asphalt, curves and 700 hp can do the same thing.
Anyone else have no audio right at the start?
Yes
Yes
He was driving faster than the speed of sound?
Yes
Spent all his money on that truck and neglected his audio / video equipment.
Want to not get yourself in trouble?
1. Don't drive 104 mph on a wet country road
2. Stop looking in the camera while youre driving down the road.
Oh Hell No on the Dodge…..Retired Mechanic and you could not give me a Dodge Anything. 🤢🤮🤮
You can a pet cover for the back seat for Toby. It will cover the while back seat. Easy to clean and keeps the seat from getting dirty or scratched up as well
Some friends of mine just did the same thing, works great
I dropped in to suggest the same thing!
They also have them for the front right seat. Get full set as full-time seatcovers to keep the upholstery clean ....for a while.

Duluth trading makes a really nice one
You might not want to film the speed. You have self incriminated your self if any local law enforcement watch these videos. The law would see it as a no sweat reckless driving and speeding infractions.
No way to prove where he was Karen.
Hey Big Swede, thanks for the information about how the tile system works. I think a lot of us non-farmer types have always wondered how the tile systems work for draining your fields. You've pulled the curtain back on that quite a ways. Thanks for that!
Really sorry to hear your tile systems are in such poor shape. : (
CHET!! Its nice to see how your face LIGHTS up talkin about your new truck. Good for you.
Don't drive it in the winter if you want those running boards to keep working in
Minnesota. Salt and snow kill them.
15:26. This is ridicules that JD would locate this grease point there! SHAME,!!
I had a charcoal grey Dodge ~ had to run with the headlights on to keep others from constantly pulling out in front of me - blended in too much with the asphalt.
That was exactly my thoughts. I have several times not seen a grey vehicle that blended too much with the road color. Each car we had seemed to be a car magnet (2 broadsides, 2 were rear ended and 1 side scraped) until we bought red ones. They are visible.
I thought farmers were poor, really up against it?
Chet, you've got a beautiful truck. Take good care of it and enjoy the ride.
Not in Minnesota winters
And don’t wrap it around a power pole. Please be careful
Driving like that on a wet road in a stupidly over powered pick-up !! Hope this isnt the last vid you post.
Nice truck but pretty stupid to be hotroding like that with all the kids that watch and look up to you. Especially on a wet roads. We all know people do it but to show it is another thing.
700 hp why ? Ya going to pull the planter
Well ok I would buy one just for the noise it makes 😎
As for the belt or basically all ( rubber ) products today
Not enough natural rubber
The synthetic rubber dose not last it will just rot sitting there
Your belts wiper blades and even those tracks that the lugs peeled off of
Bad rubber ( synthetic rubber )
Natural rubber last for ever
Why do you need that much power just for pulling a couple of folks around 150hp is OK in the UK, what a waste of resources,
Im sending you a wooden block … to put under the GO pedal. Dying to hear what Dougo has to say! This oughta be viral material!!!
Oh and who is WE? You got a mouse in your pocket? 🤔
The only thing worse than owning a piece of dodge is being proud of it
Becareful, Minnesota has a statute that if you get caught going over 100mph, automatic revocation of license for 6 months and a $350.00 fine. Then after 6 months, you have to take the written test over.
Fyi!! I'm speaking from experience..
The tires were spinning....
I'm sure he was in Mexico when he did those acceleration runs. No other explanation makes sense.
I must be getting old , was anyone else thinking about hydroplaning a new pickup ?
Absolutely 💯!!
Yep. Seen too many guys with fancy trucks do end over end flips in deep ditches of rural MN and ND for me to thumbs up doing a 100MPH pull on a wet county road. Beautiful pickup but I hope he can resist the call of Twentysomething-itis, retired grandpas in their '95 Buick sedans have impeccable timing in pulling out into the county road when you least expect them.
Very nice truck! Don’t let it be what takes you out of this world. Godspeed and safe travels.
Do 3 oil changes on that truck at 250 miles 500 miles and at 1000 miles. Otherwise you will suffer a lifter failure and camshaft destruction. Then every 3000 after that.
Just so you know, any local officer in your area can use your speedometer reading you show to give you a couple of major speeding tickets if not count it as reckless driving and jail you. As well, power and the heavy foot is going to cost you a fortune in fuel bills. Nice truck though, drive careful please!
Ok Karen!!!! How they gonna prove where he was?
Hey Greg. 100 mph and wet roads equals hydroplane and no controll. Officer Murphys Law doesn't care what jurisdiction you in. Law of physics applies here.
@@gregjames5070 Any officer worth his/her salt knows the roads and what they look like wherever they are. They can easily use Google maps as well to find out exactly where that video footage was shot.
Ask your Father if you should be driving 100 mph in the rain. How many son's does he have?
i find it kinda amusing lmao.. my 2015 platinum f150 has basically everything this 22 trx has other then 200 less hp otherwise 7 years ago ford had all that
Happy 27th birthday Chet!
Are you seriously going to use that as a work truck on the farm… 705 hp… really Chet… Time to go out and buy a beater truck and keep that one parked in the garage for special occasions
Farming pays in Minnesota I gues
Ok Chet , I have the exact same TRX , dark grey minus the sunroof . 702 HP.. It’s a well put together truck , a little pricy as well. My thoughts are after you play with the launch a bit and settle down and think of it as an ordinary truck ( on steroids) it is just plain fun to drive , even normally. I like listening to the supercharger as I accelerate… So .. Congratulations.. That truck should be as functional as it is fun for you. Eric … That’s some backbreaking work even with the backhoe. You all take care & stay safe. Paul , St Petersburg, Florida
@@MidwestFarmToys You and your team really did a great job . Love the suspension as the functional air intake beside the lights . Nice ! I’m sure Chet will like his new ride.
Service every 4K miles….. why so quick? 15k kilometres service for those type of 4x4 here in Australia….is USA using a lower quality oil? Or are those big truck girly….?
Thanks Chet for the Sunday video.
Oh and your good to go for a segment of Street Outlaws. Farmers version!!!!😳👍
Poor farmers barely getting buy. High dollar input costs
I don’t want a prize. Better save you money this economy is going to get bad. Probably not wise to buy 100.000 half ton “farm truck “
I factory ordered a Chevrolet Caprice 427 back in October 1969. Yes, it went like the wind. However, one day I was out on the highway and I realized I was married and it would be stupid to put the car into the ditch. I let common sense rule. We put over 100,000 miles on that car and we used it for towing our holiday trailer. I changed the oil "religiously" every 1,000 miles. . . . those were the days alright. Use your head and you will be fine. Looking down the road, you want some stories to tell your grandchildren. 😊
if i were you and i am not i would delete this video possible warranty and legal issues a farmer without a drivers licence would have alot of problems
Congrats on your new FIAT. 😎Better than lime green. 😮
Fiat=Fix it again Tony
I work with dogs for a living. Best thing to get for Toby is a good quality(thick & tight fitting) seat cover & netting basket insert would protect the doors too. Double protection.
Kinda flashy don't you think?
Don’t worry Chet it will spend more time in the shop than on the road.😂
Bro be careful on those wet curvy roads. Wicked powerful truck.
So so Dugo get the nice looking house on the lake you get a brand new truck so what are you doctors or lawyers on the side
I think you should edit your speedometer out…..
Stop driving that new truck so fast Chet! Bring that truck to me and I’ll show you how to make a truck last 20 years! “So much dirt,” said the farmer. New word, I like it. “ Haltching stop”. Yep I like it! Call Webster!
Wow. What a truck. Would be hard for me the get it dirty as well. But you don't spend that kind of money to keep them in the garage so have at it. 👍
Nice looking truck ! no kvetching about diesel prices anymore though ;) lol 100+ ? sheesh... How often do you do towing with your pickups, most of what I see towed there is with the trucks, tractors or combines ? And are the short beds enough for whatever stuff you have to pickup vs have delivered ?
Hi Guys,
Love your channel. Keep up the great work. You guys are so funny.
Did you ever consult Dirt Perfect and what he did for Farmer Chris. Just a thought but he seems to help him. Keep up the great work and take it easy on dad. Lol!!!
If it’s not a 3/4 ton or 1 ton it’s not a farm truck regardless of the brand
Thanks for another great video Chet.
It was interesting and enjoyable.
Congratulations to you Chet on your new pickup!!!! It is really fancy and nice looking. Like the factory accessories and the ones you put on. Be careful with that big motor. Could cause some problems. Know you will be careful with it. Toby will like it. The company called Weather Craft makes a dog cover for the back seat. Might want to check it out.
Chet, you work very hard and are most deserving of your new pickup. Very very nice truck Chet.
Glad you had a rain day to catch up on repairs to the combines. Glad you caught that belt coming apart. Good fix on that. Always needing repairs on equipment. Glad you had the rain day. You and Brody do a nice job keeping your combines in good shape. Great.
Eric thanks for working on those drain tiles. Sure needed attention.
All for now. You all take care and be safe.
Looking forward to the next video.
Thanks for everything Chet.
Like your new pickup.
The Iowa farm boy.
Steve.
Get the Design Engineers to Crawl and Worm into that space !
Then have The Engineer's Lubricate those Two Zerk Fittings ??? 🤣
Chet, how soon do we get the vid of you getting a nice car like Brody has for work so you super nice trk stays clean lol ?Those trucks aren't for everyone, but the ones that choose them , deserve them atleast for the fact that they know how to take great care of them. And we all know that you certainly will. When's the vid of you embarrassing the big sweed in his fud in a drag race lol ?
brody seems to be a great addition to the farm! catching the belt issue alone would probably cover a couple months salary for him.
Awesome truck Chet but at sixty years of age I stick with my King Ranch I have all the toys just missing the the high powered motor lol and it took me a while to get used to the power running boards I keep racking my shins on them till I got used to them love that color man
60 is the new 30s my friend
Chet Eric Broodie that was fantastic great explanations that belt well and dose take out a lot of stuff if it breaks and time to fix if they have the stuff is two weeks not pretty even over night they had to take two machines apart to fix it not niceall because of tensioner thank you for sharing and your time was really great loved it never miss a video.
Erick are you saying rutts or roots and what are rutts god bless
TRX is my dream truck. Unfortunately it’s a $100k vehicles so don’t think it will happen anytime soon. Congrats on the purchase!
what a waste of farming money. You really let me down for buying that overpowered very expensive play toy.
He doesn’t even know that you exist let alone care about you being let down. Awful liberal of you to tell someone else how they should spend their money. People like you are what’s wrong with this country!!!!!
Great video Chet Dougo and Big Swede
Your mama needs to get on the list for a cruise. ❤ nice truck son. Will my Durango keep up? Lol😅
Northern Chill brought their TRX out to your farm 1 too many times 😁
Hope your retractable steps work in the winter slush. Keep it between the ditches!!!!
Congratulations you worked very hard for what you have you deserve it
Pretty sick truck u for Chet
You just have to lift your spreaders so all the tension goes off them adjusters on that belt😂😂 learn the hard way 😢😢😢
Happy Birthday Chet.😁
Like 8 miles a gallon? Just in time for 6+ buck gas seeing as the fuel reserves are gone.
Congrats on the new truck. I can’t think of anyone who deserves one more than you. I heard a rumor that they are going to stop making the TRX in the near future - so yours will be a keeper! 💪👍🏼
Congrats on the Fiat
Equipment companies need to start putting one spot grease manifold for easier greasing
They charge you for it.
@@daveoshea2001 why I am not surprised. Should be a base model feature, would get more people to buy your equipment with better features
From past experience 40 years of heavy plant etc ya can't beat looking and greasing directly only need a broken lube pipe and you've got big expensive problems
the better companies already do.. lol look at the claas combines as an example
What they greased could not have a hosed ran to a manifold since it was a sheave pulley that turns running the rotor.
I think Chet you might want to get you a work truck to run back and forth to the farm and keep that new truck looking new and Toby hair free hahahahaha. So glad harvest is rolling nicely and everyone is safe. Good luck on the rest of harvest and stay safe to the whole crew, Amy included. 😀
Why buy it not to work it
he had one, it was green
needs mild lift and mud tires. lol nice truck even tho im ford. and needs a diesel. diesel all the way. haha
No way I'm paying that much for the TRX and ruin it driving in Minnesota winters..absolutely a waste of money doing that.get a chap truck for the salt..
Dam it’s $120,000.00 dollar truck
I like the color better than the green
Wow those trucks are quiet. Couldn't even hear a mouse fart
Look under the hood at the T-ReX eating the velociRAPTOR. Those Ram guys have a sense of humor.
Get that thing ceramic coated and buy a Valentine 1 radar detector. Both worth every penny.
A few things I don’t miss, shortening elevator chains, changing belts, replacing bearings. I do enjoy hard labor, I can watch it all day. At my age I am not sure I can do this any more, especially climbing into that tight grain bin space.
Have you let Dougo drive it yet ? I bet he is looking to buy him one
Question for you value dealership do you know anything about the limited lifetime powertrain warranty did you look into that when you purchased your truck. Looking on web now at a vehicle
Hey, as far as unclogging pipes they have a pressure washer head root penetrator or penetrator you can put on the end of the hose they have a kit with get the head and the hose I think it's like 150 ft of hose and you can just run it up the thing it'll even cut Roots up to about an inch and a half the things amazing it really cleans out that type of pipe really good it's a little messy but it works just look at the page of the guy in Australia penetrator I think his name is
Yep had one that did this back in the late 70s !
They have one. Used it on the shop drain.
Pet Smart sells rear seat covers and maybe Weather Tech. I have one for my Raptor.
Chet put an auto greaser on there this winter. from what I have observed on your Videos, most of the stuff you have uses a bejuir system. You guys are handie enough. Motion Ind has the stuff. I don't know if you guys have them over in MN.
Just in time for $6/gallon gasoline. FJB - LGB
I can see a lot of use for that truck on the farm. IF a combine is full, and way across the field, that truck will be able to get a grain cart there in record time!! If a combine breaks, needs parts, or lunch is ready, that truck will be able to fetch parts and lunch, in record time. If you get a machine stuck some where, 700 horsepower and four wheel drive is just what you need, with a yank em rope, to get it out. I think you made a wise investment the Chet. And I am NOT bitter that I did NOT do that back in the sixties when I could have bought a Dodge Dart with about a million horsepower and did not. (I just HATE myself)
Nice looking truck can't wait for a full send launch.
Chet, Looks like you found a new way to "run in" your new vehicle. Hope it will last to Christmas. LOL. Also, a fine example for all your young fans, not.
You will bend that frame fiat junk. Pavement Pusher, thought that was for the dirt? Deere belts lol.
