Just watched you and BSwede on the Blue Collar Creative podcast. It was an awesome interview and I learned alot about you guys. Hats off to you guys for your honesty. I am so, so, so sad to hear about the "haters" in your farming community. Your channel is great and please keep it going.

It's time to do a weekly one hour live local television station broadcast for LF! Oh... how close is the nearest TV station? Make em come to you!
❤ a small suggestion… from past experience 😊 I built a pipe collar an bolted it to the mower deck between the deck and the blade ring plate . I left a 1/2 of clearance between the blade ring plate an the pipe collar. Stops a whole lot of headaches of vines AND wire wrapping around the shaft and taking the lower seal out🤬. Ours like your replacement was not OEM and the extra length caused us tons of problems. We used a piece of 4” well casing pipe and welded ears to it and bolted it to the main deck. Stopped 99.9% of our problems and definitely stopped 100% of the lower seal getting damaged an leaking lube out of the new gear box 🤷🏻♂️
Hi Chet, Love watching your videos. Cement is the powder you mix with the components to make concrete. All your slabs, and foundations are made of concrete.
Correct...concrete consists of water, cement, chemicals (sometimes), aggregate (can be stone, shell, etc.), and sometimes other additives depending on ambient temperature or geographic location!
We have a brand new S-770 this fall and sometimes we have to shut it off and turn the master disconnect and let it reboot to get all the functions on the hydro to work. New machines are crazy with all the computer stuff and sometimes it just takes the total shutdown and reset and they work lol
I was watching a video a day or so ago of a John Deere 830 pulling a 5 bottom plow. Talking about complex issues, to lower the plow, pull the rope. When finished plowing, to raise the plow, pull the rope. If the rope breaks, you've got a major problem, but easy to diagnose and fix. 😊
Think the random missing and puffing thing is fairly common.. even if deere says they've never heard of the problem before.. 😆 deere heavy equipment is having that issue lately as well
Keep it up dude! Always have wondered, and maybe you’ve said it and I forgot, are you, Brody, and Eric related, friends, or just a mishap you all ended up farming together?
Just finished watching the Blue Collar vid. So sorry you have to deal with "haters". I love this channel. Hard to believe I've been watching(subscribed) for over 4 years now. I'm not a farmer but have grown up in farm country. Now when I see a piece of equipment, I know what is going on with it and the crop. Thank you for all the knowledge you share.
You were talking about the ditch filling and backing up into the field and your drain lines. Can you dig a deeep French drain or next to the ditch, it might give the water a place to go and the ground a chance to absorb it. If if you had 5,000 or 10,000 gallons of water standing in a deep trench drain would relieve pressure in the field, no?
Get in touch with JD and they will almost certainly have records of this happening to other farmers and have an idea what it is. It's highly unlikely you are he first to suffer this issue. It's obviously something to do with fuel delivery.
Would it be difficult to mark implement houses with up down so it isn't a crap shoot to hook up an implement? The remotes have an in/out, the implements same.
Not sure if the supply is the same on all your tractors, but a idea is to place a tyrap on one of the set of hoses for each cylinder, and if you wanted match the hose on the tractor with the same tyrap, then no mixing up the hoses each time to hook up and rehook up.
We did the same, though it was before the colored ends. Our code for left/right was bare/single white zip tie. Primary hydraulics had no additional tie and secondary had a single colored tie on both. On these new systems, I'd at least have the single white tie on the right hose because it's a very small change for long term convenience.
Thanks for another great video Cole. It was interesting and enjoyable to watch. Spraying the black beans 🫘 again so they can be harvested the first of the week I have been told. Think that is the plan anyway. Don’t always understand the black beans process. See you all are pitching in on getting the bat wing mower fixed again. Putting a new gear case in it and sharpening the blades again. That mower has seen some hard times. Hopefully all of this will make it work good again. Give it a try anyway. You said the last rings on the grain bin was going up. You new grain bin should be done and ready to go soon. Yeah!!!!!!! About it I guess. Thanks for everything Chet and crew. You all take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve. Forgot. Better get the 9530 tractor checked out. Doesn’t sound the best. Injectors??????? Thanks. 😂
Maybe JD ops center can monitor that tractor and go thru the codes. Sure is nice to give the tech an opportunity to scan and diagnos before they make that expensive trip out to the farm!
Watching that problem that sprayer tractor had could it be an idea to invest in a low houer pre def tractor in the 250-350hp range that could fill in for the new stuff when it breaks?
It probably needs a Regen for one thing... other than that I'm not a mechanic but I owned a semi with Def and they do the same thing when they need a Regen
I saw one of your shorts that seemed to indicate a MAJOR breakdown of one of the combines but you have made no mention of anything. What happened? It looked as though you had an engine block crack in half.
We’ve had to do a few engine harnesses over the past couple years. Not that big of a job. Ours would just throw all kinds of codes and die and that’s all it was
He needs to watch what he lifts and possibly have some surgery done. Hernias can cause lasting damage. He is young and needs to take care of himself while he can.
Three injectors going down together at once is likely a wiring problem. Mousey probably chewed a power wire or there's a corroded pin in the injector harness.
@@StephenFranzen-z2n injectors are usually ground side switched, meaning the ECU grounds them to activate. Ground side switching is safer for the ECU because there isn't a constant power that could short and burn up the ECU. If the injector ground shorts, then the injector just runs all the time and the ECU is fine.
How many miles are on Brody's Buick? If I remember correctly it had 276,000 miles on it when you pranked him with it. That 3.8 liter V6 is nearly indestructible with proper maintenance, and there's no doubt about Brody maintaining it. Did Brody get the headlights fixed up?
@@David-O970don’t forget the gnats, and when the wind is blowing the same direction as you’re plowing on one of your passes and you’re covered with dust. Give me a tractor with a climate controlled cab every time.
Yeah but that cab is warm in the winter, cool in the summer, has no bugs in it, and protects you from sun giving you skin cancer later in life (I know and you can also ask Dougo about that).
Put a four way coupler on the existing tile line under the wet spot so to create an underground '+' and increase the likelihood of intersecting the spring?

A wise instructor at college told me “If it’s a weird problem it’s a ground problem”. Number 1 place to go for weird electrical issues.
I totally get the feeling of turning a weedy mess into a black planting bed. I just have 15 x 3 feet to turn every Spring.

Hey! Don’t pick on Sketchers! They are awesome old man farmer shoes. Such a nice change from Redwing since retiring!

Can't wait to see the tractor carnage video (the IG was really bad)!
The soil in your area is so different than other RUclips farmers (Ivers, Welkers, etc.) Looks a lot heavier.
I came from a dairy farm and working dirt was my favorite job on the farm.
Wow! A Woods batwing restoration! Doubled the value!
I find it all interesting to watch. Fascinating, in fact!
Chet- Please remember cement is a gray powder mixed with sand and rock to make CONCRETE thx JM
Get some solar panels setup on a trailer so you can put a pump set up whereever a couple batteries for a battery storage system and youre set
Enjoyed Eric and you during the interview on the other channel.
Good stuff Chet
Great video Chet I love your videos
Chet you should put a magnet down the tile line to get the spring out. lol
If they gave Brody this much flack for a slasher gearbox I wonder how much he a about to cope with the combine engine.

Chet Dougo Eric Broodie great explanations and kill ratio on black beans and tractor problems
Why are they killing the beans? We have never farmed or even seen the black beans. Thanks
Finding Chris's autograph was hilarious!
Enjoy some family time Chet!
We have a Fendt ya have to escape all the codes before using also. It's her character.
It is a feature. All the codes lets you know the tractor is operating. If you quit getting codes it means the tractor has totally died.
