Harvest 2024 done already that seams to have went quick. It has been Awesome to watch. listening to Chet in the cab that's my favourite part he gives such detail on the combine/new technology/corn yields /moisture and even the mistakes made 🤣🤣 IT IS WHAT IT IS 🤣 All of TEAM LARSON have been AWESOME for Harvest 2024 Looking forward to whatever come's next from TEAM LARSON
I know you have been done for a couple of weeks Glad to see it come to the screen. Hopefully tillage is going well. Hope everyone got a Deer or two that wanted one. Deer season with guns starts today in Michigan. TAKE CARE ALL AND GET CAUGHT UP ON YOUR SLEEP !!!!!
Congratulations on finishing your harvest season for 2024 !!!!!!!!! Tremendous job everyone!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!! Was a long corn 🌽 harvest and all of you did a fantastic job!!!!!! Great!!!!!!! The new model combine you were using Chet seemed to operate fairly well for you. Now you have to plan what to do with your combine coming off lease. Glad Amy was able to ride in the combine during the last day. Thanks Amy for bringing food out to the field for everyone. Know it was delicious. Thanks. You new building by the lake front will be beautiful scenery!!!!!!!!!!! Great place to build. Thanks for all the harvest videos. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Dougo, a bit late for this year, but if you go into the settings on the dryer master, under the discharge rate you can set a max discharge rate and it will keep you at or below that rate. Saved my butt a few times this year in Ontario
😫😫😫😭😭😭😭 I know it had to end some time but honestly?? Fall time and taking off the crops has always been my favorite part of Farming.. Because………… now comes the part I hate the worst PAPERWORK 😫🤷🏻♂️ and when I draw the line at the bottom of the page?? Most years my tummy does flip flops!! But their are them exceptionally great years where I say holy cow I can pay this off an go buy that 😀😀😀 you all did great been a up and down year for all but we always got NEXT year to look forward to too.. 31.5 acres to rip an it’s stuck in a 10x14 room for like ever 🤦♂️
I didn’t want to jinx your harvest but now I can say it Harvest goes way smoother with no mud Lol, congratulations Chet, with all the mechanical issues you have finally managed to finish
Congrats guys on finishing up now its time clean everything up check over and fix and put it away. What's the Farmers almanac say about winter lots of Snow? Maybe some videos of cleaning snow again like a couple years ago that's all you guys did! Anyway glad you had a pretty good season I know the yields could have been better but what do you do mother nature fights you some times.
I do believe i could join Dougo with a beverage! Great harvest boys unfortunately some downtime but grain is in the bin and all involved are healthy and happy to be finished… Chet I think you should try the X9 machine you may like it!
Happy Birthday two weeks ago Chet!!!! OK You got me on the Factor Boat!!!! do not make me regret it!!!! Congratulations on a Better than expected Harvest!! what a freakin Year its been for most of the USA, except here in Utah our weather has been boringly Beautiful!!!! oh yeah I got rid of the Porn Queens for you!!! you know you hit the big time when the BOTS hit your comments
“You’re in the Rhubarb” loves me some Rhubarb and Strawberry pie. Stay in the flavored celery if you grew up on a farm like myself. She’s pretty tasty. 🙏😇🙏 Stay blessed everyone and smash the likes 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I would have loved to run a 8820. The last combine I ran was our JD. 55 square back, with 3 row wide corn head.( l’m talking 1970’s) I was a teenager.🌽🌽
I grew up in the '70s and we had two John Deere 105 combines. We took off 2,000 acres per year with those two small combines but we didn't have any corn to combine. Started in July on the barley and In November we were combining sunflowers sometimes. 15 years ago I bought a John Deere 8820. I thought it was in heaven and then 7 years ago I bought a John Deere 9760. Hydro Flex head. I love that combine but I kept that 8820 around as a backup. I think it was 3 years ago was the last time I ran the 8820 and it's still fun to drive
Dunno if you could call that breaking the combine... now if you blew up an engine like someone who we will leave unnamed THEN you could say you broke it! 😄 Congrats on finishing! Now go rest for a couple days!
🎉🎉 sending a big whoo-hoo to y'all. Idk what y'all gotta do now but hey I'm a loyal follower. Doug-o come on dude!! 😂 no one is gonna come checking ID😉 I will say I'm very excited about your sweet bundle of news. So exciting to see the next generation coming in❤ Take care y'all and God Bless❤❤
Also to see header loss or out the back you can go look in the standing corn to see if the spreaders threw it to there you know it’s not the header but I’m sure your aware of that lol
Congratulations on wonderful year Chet what do you think about the combine you were running do you think you're going to keep it or get something different looking good
That's dry corn ? There is a dryer by where I live and it ten thousand bushels just to start it up it is huge !! A must see it u ask me at least I think it is big
Lol you think the stress on an empty unload auger is more than when it’s fully loaded while emptying the hopper… better yet you think JD is that poor at engineering that the auger is going to fail by being left extended… The real reason you were told that fairy tale was you weren’t trusted too not run the auger into a power pole or some other obstruction 😂
Some neighbors used to leave their augers out. Then one season they broke cylinders and one auger broke. They went to folding them in and cured that problem.

Love the new intro. Chet you keeping the folding head for your combine or that go with the old one. Congratulations on a great and safe harvest
Congratulations on a great harvest season. Thanks for all the videos!
Dougo, a bit late for this year, but if you go into the settings on the dryer master, under the discharge rate you can set a max discharge rate and it will keep you at or below that rate. Saved my butt a few times this year in Ontario
Brody seems like an awesome wingman!!
Had to be nice that you guys didn't have to deal with muddy sloggy fields this fall during harvest !
I road back to farm in 1980 in a brand new 8820 titan 2. Duals. It max speed on hard road was 22mph! I was 10yrs old.
It's obvious how much effort went into this!
Great season! Bring on winter shop work……
Congratulations 🎊 🎉time for a well deserved break 👏
Team Larson... Its ok Brodey to leave a row, you work hard and it shows !

Great video good to see y'all
Respect your Mom !
I would have loved to run a 8820. The last combine I ran was our JD. 55 square back, with 3 row wide corn head.( l’m talking 1970’s) I was a teenager.🌽🌽
We had a 7720 and it was fantastic. Not so much to break or go wrong and did the job just like all the new ones and was a whole lot less expensive.
I grew up in the '70s and we had two John Deere 105 combines. We took off 2,000 acres per year with those two small combines but we didn't have any corn to combine. Nice work well done❤❤❤
Shed I thought you were Building a house? Ya Got a Family to Live With in the Country!
Why are you worried about what he’s building? Are you paying for it or something?
Happy Birthday Chet ! 🎂
Uploaded 42 seconds ago! Couldn’t be better for my night time routine!
Happy birthday Chet
Dunno if you could call that breaking the combine... now if you blew up an engine like someone who we will leave unnamed THEN you could say you broke it! 😄
Congrats on finishing! Now go rest for a couple days!
😂😂BRODY😂😂
I’m surprised that those combines don’t include a microwave. Great job Larson Farms
This harvest went much better than last year's 🎉
I like the old fridge
🎉🎉 sending a big whoo-hoo to y'all. Idk what y'all gotta do now but hey I'm a loyal follower. Doug-o come on dude!! 😂 no one is gonna come checking ID😉 I will say I'm very excited about your sweet bundle of news. So exciting to see the next generation coming in❤
Take care y'all and God Bless❤❤
There is that pretty lady Mrs larson
Don't worry brody, Somebody's got to do the Row of shame during the harvest. Unfortunately, it was you.😂
Awesome video guys 🚜🚜🚜
Don’t forget to unload the cab corn. 😂
Also to see header loss or out the back you can go look in the standing corn to see if the spreaders threw it to there you know it’s not the header but I’m sure your aware of that lol
19:20 Should have cut in the clip from prior episode with dude saying "No, you wont break it" Thanks for another fine video
Lot of adjustability in that machine! Have you tried to set the bushel per acre to 300 and the yield loss to 0 ?
Congratulations on wonderful year Chet what do you think about the combine you were running do you think you're going to keep it or get something different looking good
Mood lights (green no less) in the combine. I got to get some. For the tractors too. You should post a link or start selling them yourself
Tell Doug its perfectly alright for an adult beverage at the end of harvest.
well done team
Cheap shot on you mom. she is a great lady
You gotta get Mrs. Amy driving the combine.
Use a strobe light u can speed light up or down it will make the leg bucket s look like their not moving 2 tell how full there running
I can’t believe you are getting rid of Air Force One
Air Force One was on a lease. It hit the end of its hours so it goes back.
That's dry corn ? There is a dryer by where I live and it ten thousand bushels just to start it up it is huge !! A must see it u ask me at least I think it is big
You can't beat the feeling of the last day of harvest! How long does corn harvest usually take for you guys?
Happy birthday 🎂🎈🎊🎁🎉 late 😊
How'd you get four different brands of appliances in your little kitchen. And one of them in black? Anyway just an appliance salesman asking questions
great video
Why do you not test a new Case combine??
It's the end of the season let doggo drink his adult beverage! I would love to see that on camera cuz it would be kind of funny for me.
Chet why do you leave unload augur out all the time on combine? I was always told thats a no no when not unloadeing. Putting untold stress on augur.
You think leaving it out is putting more stress wear and tear on it than folding it in and out a few hundred times a day?
In 220 BPA+ corn the hopper is full every 4 minutes roughly. No point in folding it in
Some neighbors used to leave their augers out. Then one season they broke cylinders and one auger broke. They went to folding them in and cured that problem.
@@gregjames5070wouldn't be be a few hundred times a day with a 450 bushel grain tank.
As of you don’t know Eric! That’s where the pheasants hide😅😅😅
WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING ?
A building
So, Chet are you going to have a big ole pontoon boat and boat dock like the father? or maybe a speed boat or fishing boat?
I was hoping the corn head would knock over Brody's porta pot
Brody's a starship captain.
