In regards to gene modification, they can be an extremely positive and beneficial management practice for everyone, including consumers and the environment. If we are going to look at eliminating genetically engineered seeds, then we need to do it in a way that doesn't cripple American family farms that are currently using them as a management tool. The last thing I want to see is sweeping, blanket type of regulations that hurt American farms. That said, I also want my kids and grandchildren to have safe, healthy food, soil, and water.
A colleague asked me what I watched on TV, I said I dont watch regular TV, I watch videos on you tube. "Like what" he said, I said my Favourite channel was this one. I still remember the 1st time my dad turned me loose in our massive Case 660 combine. I think I might have been 11 or 12. We were doing light red kidney beans. I had brought him lunch on a tractor. While he ate, I unloaded the bin. When I was done, he motioned for me to go combine. I made a couple of rounds before he took it back. Opened the flood gates for me running the combine for wheat, oats, & rye harvests. One of my fondest memories growing up.
Our local fire and rescue crews have spent this past week training on grain bin rescues using the equipment and techniques you featured on here a few years ago.

Recommendation on the peterbuilt. Use air to blow out the radiator, if you have heavy soils it will turn into cement like in the fins if you run it right after spraying it out We had a 4755 that had that issue and i spent 3 days blowing heavy clay bbs out of it. Have not had a problem since.
Good for you. Volunteering is an excellent thing to help out another farmer in need. When we grew up, there was always a lot of help for us when my dad was sick in the 60's. Nice to see that it is still the practise. Thanks you

In. Y experience as a mechanic for farm trucks. I’ve had to remove lots of air to air coolers to access the rad well enough to wash out the fins. Surprising how packed the fins can get. Have found lots of debris stuck between the 2rads as well.

If you don't already have it someone else already mentioned, the Radiator Genie kit is great for cleaning the fins of radiator in tractors and trucks. The kit I bought was at NAPA came with a wand for the water hose and another for compressed air. Great little tool.

Tub and Tile Bubble foaming Spray works really good to Help clean Radiator’s. Get truck up to temp shut off and spray foam both sides of radiator let sit for few minutes and hose out.

Back in July, I watched them harvest corn in Thailand, their combines are steel tracked machines with 2 diesel engines. One for mobility, the other for the hydraulics. A few months later the same machine gets converted to harvest rice.

We Had same issue on our Kenworth overheating. Same Rad setup as yours there. You’ll have to pull the rad out and wash it, only way to get it really clean and running cool. Yours for sure will be plugged solid behind the Intercooler.

I don’t think RFK is going to to be any friend of American farmers. My fear would be that many of the products that we currently use to put in a crop will be in jeopardy of being banned. I could be wrong but I guess I would say I will be from MO. “Show me.”
I hope he’s going to be more focused on the consumers end product and not at the raw product level. All the additives and chemicals being put into the food at the finished product level.
It sounds like he's planning on going the way of some European countries. Could be good or bad. They ban a number of products that are considered cancer causing that big food producers in this country have been given a pass from the FDA. We'll have to see what happens. Also consider that if we stop using some processes, markets will open up in countries that currently will not allow our agricultural products to be imported.
This next administration will be a disaster for farmers. Trump's trade war will be back and he's got a hard-on for China (#1 buyer of US soybeans) and Mexico (#1 buyer of US corn). RFK Jr. will make sure that we either can't afford to put anything on our fields or make input costs even higher...and the rest of the clan will oppose any biofuels for fear of appearing green. We'll see record low prices and give our grain away while we go out of business....and don't you dare sell your farmland or the locals shit a canary. Americans swear they love farmers while they commit economic warfare against them.
I've been watching your videos for the last 7 almost 8 years, basically since you've started posting. In that time I've seen you be nothing but a level headed and rational activist for the farming community. I literally paused the video to click that link and vote for you immediately because God knows we need a competent, rational thinker in this upcoming administration to make actual informed and beneficial decisions. I cannot imagine you would willingly sign up to put yourself and your family through the life altering admission to that position unless you in your heart believed it is truly necessary. Reading between the lines, we absolutely don't want some misinformed zealot elected who will rip away GMOs and will make brash, sweeping regulations that'll unnecessarily curtail America's agricultural sector. Any changes that are made should be made by someone such as yourself who lives, breathes and sleeps farming and who will use informed science based approaches to decision making.

Hey, Zach I want to give you a piece of advice from a 72 year old that is early years he did it up in Washington and around have relatives that owned a large Law Firm very large my piece of advice is stay out of politics just run away they will eat you for lunch and I'm not kidding that is my best piece of advice I'm not going to get into it but after all those years you can get really hurt up there this is where I'll say trust me I was always in the background observing and I can tell you I see a lot of people like you try to do what you're trying to think you're trying to do and they ended up roadkill I'm trying to be nice to tell you that all my years there's a lot of other aspects to doing what you're thinking doing that you don't realize can happen to you so that's it old man advice.

Saw a video today explaining the president elects plan for tariff's. If this goes through, it will directly affect the farmers of American. If tariffs are place on foreign goods coming into the US, so will tariffs be placed on our goods going abroad. Soybeans and corn have already been impacted. Green machinery will be over priced for the average farm. Loss of jobs, higher prices, and grain prices tank. Please be careful as to the affects of the new election will have on our economy. Might be excessive but the farm I worked for we pull charge air coolers every year before harvest and wash out radiator, CAC, and A/C condensor

I hope he’s going to be more focused on the consumers end product and not at the raw product level. All the additives and chemicals being put into the food at the finished product level.
It sounds like he's planning on going the way of some European countries. Could be good or bad. They ban a number of products that are considered cancer causing that big food producers in this country have been given a pass from the FDA. We'll have to see what happens. Also consider that if we stop using some processes, markets will open up in countries that currently will not allow our agricultural products to be imported.
This next administration will be a disaster for farmers. Trump's trade war will be back and he's got a hard-on for China (#1 buyer of US soybeans) and Mexico (#1 buyer of US corn). RFK Jr. will make sure that we either can't afford to put anything on our fields or make input costs even higher...and the rest of the clan will oppose any biofuels for fear of appearing green. We'll see record low prices and give our grain away while we go out of business....and don't you dare sell your farmland or the locals shit a canary. Americans swear they love farmers while they commit economic warfare against them.

I've been watching your videos for the last 7 almost 8 years, basically since you've started posting. In that time I've seen you be nothing but a level headed and rational activist for the farming community.
I literally paused the video to click that link and vote for you immediately because God knows we need a competent, rational thinker in this upcoming administration to make actual informed and beneficial decisions.
I cannot imagine you would willingly sign up to put yourself and your family through the life altering admission to that position unless you in your heart believed it is truly necessary. Reading between the lines, we absolutely don't want some misinformed zealot elected who will rip away GMOs and will make brash, sweeping regulations that'll unnecessarily curtail America's agricultural sector. Any changes that are made should be made by someone such as yourself who lives, breathes and sleeps farming and who will use informed science based approaches to decision making.

Hey, Zach I want to give you a piece of advice from a 72 year old that is early years he did it up in Washington and around have relatives that owned a large Law Firm very large my piece of advice is stay out of politics just run away they will eat you for lunch and I'm not kidding that is my best piece of advice I'm not going to get into it but after all those years you can get really hurt up there this is where I'll say trust me I was always in the background observing and I can tell you I see a lot of people like you try to do what you're trying to think you're trying to do and they ended up roadkill I'm trying to be nice to tell you that all my years there's a lot of other aspects to doing what you're thinking doing that you don't realize can happen to you so that's it old man advice.

Saw a video today explaining the president elects plan for tariff's. If this goes through, it will directly affect the farmers of American. If tariffs are place on foreign goods coming into the US, so will tariffs be placed on our goods going abroad. Soybeans and corn have already been impacted. Green machinery will be over priced for the average farm. Loss of jobs, higher prices, and grain prices tank.
Please be careful as to the affects of the new election will have on our economy.

We had the same issue with our trucks this harvest an it was just dirt packed in the radiator.
How about bringing back the pod cast this winter, I like hearing farm talk and talking about how the farm works and you all joking. I drive a semi and a good 2 hour podcast with you all really helps kill the time!!

Hopefully the MAHA initiative will be as good as advertized. I wish politicians would do things in a similar way and collaborate more with actual farmers and workers who know what "growing plants and take care of our soil" is like when it comes to implement new regulations here down in France...
