In the 40's my great uncle and aunt lost a young son to a farm accident. Not only did the neighbors and town take care of the farm, animals and harvest. They were fed(given more food than they knew how to deal with) and bills for the fall were taken care of. The next door neighbor paid for the funeral. This is just how farm communities are.
I can relate about neighbor's helping in a cirrus. 1957, I was 14 years old, not quite old enough to take over. My dad had a stroke and was laid up for a long time. It was spring so crops needed to go in. I came home from school to find the neighbors plowing our fields. 7 or 8 tractors with plows. The job was done in one day. Farm life is great where everyone looks out for each other.
Farmers rescuing another farm family, what a great group of people they are. I grew up on a farm and if the neighbor needed help we were there. Doesn't get any better than that.
I wish Guy a speedy recovery. I broke my femur back in 2018 and had to also have a rod put in place. That type of injury incapacitates your whole leg from waist to toe.
Zach, I will be donating. I’m not a farmer, but I watch your videos all the time and seeing you mention it many times it’s just a absolutely awesome organization.
Dad hired out the 510 for several years. In 1977, we upgraded to a Massey 751 pulltype, with our 1976 JD 4430. Then we could harvest a quarter in a day easily, running up to 7mph.
To hear about the number of people who were volunteering to help in addition to the folks from Farm Rescue sure says volumes about the rural community.
These are people that are making America Great! Zach - congrats upon that son of yours and your entire family. You are surely blessed my friend and I am positive you realize that. As always, thank you for tanking us along on your daily journeys through life. Bless you and all your family, friends, and acquaintances. Good people seem to be in short supply these days but you are in abundance.
I am newer to viewing you channel. Over the last two months I have renewed my faith in mankind. This episode reminded me of when I lived in Minnesota about 27 years ago. I lived just a little ways from you farm in Randall Little falls area. We have a neighbor that was a dairy farmer and her had the bull in with the heifers. He when in with them to fix something real quick. And I think you can guess what happened next. The amazing thing was everybody in the community rallied together and for months we all helped with working the farm till he was able do it himself. I live on the West Coast now and you don't see that out here all that often. People just don't help people all that much. I will ask that no one make this post political as the West Coast of this country is very left leaning. I did not post to start a debate I just want to give Zach and everyone that is doing things like this a hand. Thank you. You guys are a lot of what keeps this country going!
The way you were shocked that he was there because of you it was amazing. You realizing what you really do for farmers and how normal people like me learn how farming really works all we had before was mike blumbergh lol
I just donated in your channels name Zack. Pretty touching interview with the gentleman who learning of the organization through your channel. Pretty awesome all the way around!
At least you stick together in times of crisis helping other family farming communities 🙏 great video 📸 again Zach watching RUclips channel from South East England
Great work donating time and publicity to a most worthy cause. I shared this video on my Facebook feed and encouraged most of the folks who are city dwellers to make a financial contribution. Everybody makes a difference, small or large, to get the work done. Amazing stuff to cap off a pretty darn good harvest season, wind and all. Kudos!!
Zach, great video showing the great work of the farm rescue team and how this is the spirit of Americans and the great American farmer in support of those in need. Great work being done by great people.
Love how you show us city folks this video... lets us know there are people that need help.... and how to get the help.... thank you so much for your time Zach......
Hell Yeah love to see someone from NC coming all the way out to help. Im an NC native who grew up on a small farm that sadly no longer is in operation and rents the land out so I went and got my degree from NC State in Bio-Engineering Concentrated in Agriculture so I am pretty well versed on NCs ag. If you ever get the chance you should visit some Sweetpotato farms (yes its actually one word) out here in Eastern NC. They would blow your mind.
You're right about the ag industry, Zach. Both my grandfathers were farmers (quarter-section family farms), and all the neighbors came together at harvest time for thrashing. One thrashing machine served a lot of farms, and everyone helped out so not more than a day was spent at any one farm. I was very young and had to 'stay out of the way', but I do remember the camaraderie and good feeling. A little different than what Farm Rescue does, but I think it's representative of the same spirit of community.
Brilliant! It's such a good organisation - in fact any human or collection of humans that help people in need, are exactly what being a good human is about. If i lived over your side of the pond... i'd volunteer in a heart beat. 👌🏻
Zach, sorry if I misspelt your name, just heard it never seen it! I am so proud of the job you do, just helping others that is more than enough. Let alone the jobs you do, as a farmer on the acreage, you do is immense ! I just want you to know, some of us out here are not farmers, but are fully behind you as we are of our own farmers here in UK. With their current issues with the "government", and their recent swinging tax allowance cuts that are/will, cause severe problems with finance when transferring to next generation! There should be plenty of coverage of their cause Tomorrow when the biggest protest march for years is held in London (19th November 2024!) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We truly can't thank you enough for the incredible support. We appreciate everything you do for the ag community, Zach!
Thank you Farm Rescue and all the volunteers. You make America great, period. Cheers

Nice to see. I was combining helping our neighbours when I was 14. Running a 1965 Massey 510 with a 327 Chevy, no cab, wearing my snowsuit.
Dad hired out the 510 for several years. In 1977, we upgraded to a Massey 751 pulltype, with our 1976 JD 4430. Then we could harvest a quarter in a day easily, running up to 7mph.
I think what you and your folks do to help is wonderful.
To hear about the number of people who were volunteering to help in addition to the folks from Farm Rescue sure says volumes about the rural community.
Well done to everyone that helped out.
The words, “Done harvesting” has to be the greatest words a farmer can say each year. Good work, Zach, highlighting this organization.
You fly over people are the ones who make this country great. Thank You

Good stuff Zach
He'll start feeling it when the cold fronts start coming in and the air pressure changes. I know I do.
Minnesota is expecting snow with that monster storm coming through.
