after all this time of chainsaw being on the channel i still can’t figure out how you two are such a good team without being on a voice chat, keep up the great work lads
The first sawmill you visited will actually buy your wood. You have to leave your logs by the water, then the sell interaction is up the hill in the sawmill building, to the left of where you buy the business.
@@riaanprinsloo8433dont feel bad. I just lost 44,000 bc i used the edit land tool for 3 minutes but had to spend an 45 mins fixing it and 40k😂 tip: dont use the raise feature.
Can’t wait to see how this series develops, Id love to see some episodes here and there where you and chainsaw talk to each other throughout the episode. Keep up the great work.

good to see the return of Chainsaw as well, co-op survival was one of the best series on the channel (in my opinion of course) looking forward to how much you guys grow here no pun intended
I've been saying this forever. They should definitely be talking.... Even if it's not the whole time... Probably makes editing videos harder but would be so worth it
Just so you know: Sheep in a pasture can eat just the meadow gras (100% of needed food) and will still produce wool, so you would just need to bring them water and they would make basically free wool!
I would suggest to buy the sawmill for 36000 and make the planks and beams as an early way so make more money from the trees Looking forward to the series good luck to the 2 of you
I've never played SF before. Saw your first SF25 video, bought the game, and have been obsessively immersed ever since. Thank you, Daggerwin!! So, starting with ~250K of equipment and a farm. No loans and no renting equipment. [I'm looking to duplicate this as best I can, but may choose different equipment 🙂] Ex. "Medium Tractors"- Deutz Fahr AgroStar 210hp for $89,500
19:35 - Maybe the car is shuddering, but because you're in it, you're shuddering with it. Side note...always such a weird feeling when you're on a bus in the bus station and the bus next to you pulls out, but it makes you feel like it's YOUR bus that's moving lol
I watched all of your last co-op survival series and really enjoyed it. I was looking for my hook into this one and had to wait for it, but seeing you ride along with Chainsaw as he passed the school bus at the stop sign sold me. I can't wait to see the shenanigans you two get into this time.
For cutting branches of the tree I usually turn on the chainsaw just away from the tree then go at a 45° angle next to the tree, crouch down and walk diagonally right along the tree. That usually works to remove all of the branches
Came here to say something similar. I just put the chainsaw sideways, crouch and then just let it rip the whole time. Seems you basically need the blade directly on the spot you're trying to clean up. (as in physically touching)
Best £0 challange is when you start with £100k and a 100k loan pay off the loan so you have 0 and just do contracts till you save enough for your equipment
I think sheep have been done loads in your survival series either in co-op or vs so it would be good to do something different like goats. Making £25k in one day from selling wood means you can afford the enclosure, goats and milk tanker easily over a couple of in-game months.
I was playing myself when I saw the video is out. Then I close the game to watch it, and I'm so happy the series are back! I can't wait to see how the farm progresses over time. I'm so happy!
FINALLY some survival series! I started my own with nothing and a small debt, doing contracts and greenhouses, i plan on a small pickle production. I wish this series would start like I did, with nothing really, but i get it that it would be slow and maybe not appealing to a larger audience
Love it already! Riverbend Springs was the map I started FS25 with. It's really beautiful in my opinion. And the plot of land you picked is a challenge in itself, very hilly with little plain space to get a yard or a field going. But yeah, the sheep or goats are a good idea. It can just be the standard 15k pen. Then the smallest water bowser which is available for one or two loads of wood sold at the paper factory. Sheep need two small production facilities to turn their wool into fabric and then clothes. While goats can do it with a single small scale dairy. So that might be worth a consideration. I also wonder if contracting and leasing the machinery is allowed, lots of money in that these days. I suppose collectibles are forbidden, though they are particularly hard to find on this map. I played FS since 17, and on this map the collectibles are the hardest to find because most of them just blend in. And some are hidden in a downright evil way.
First off, nice to see the new series on the start! Loved the previous one! You also asked for suggestions; Sell the trees to afford a barrel trailer and a greenhouse for lettuce first (It is and was a really good start in base game fs22 also). Should bee roughly 20,000 to start up. Look into a forage wagon and then a bunker silo instead of getting a baler. That should get you a decent start.
The sawmill and a sheep pen are good contenders for establishing an ongoing revenue stream (though I think that conventional baler is going to drive you both mad having to carry each of those little bales). My vote would be a greenhouse though - watching the other let's plays, they seem a little more lucrative than in FS22, and are an easy step on the way to a preserved food production. And the water tanker could also support expanding to animal pastures (or even carrying milk back to the dairy) so it's not a solo investment. Glad to see y'all starting this up again so quickly, happy to see how it goes!
Looking forward to this one, because that hill is a tricky starting area to pick, so your fields are gonna be tricky as well, all hills and bumps. Why don't you knock down that old shed to start with, and pop down the basic sawmill and start off with making the planks and beams etc. It's a bit of a slow production, but you can easily keep it chugging along and with that water source nearby, your second purchase should probably be a greenhouse. And that concrete pad would be a perfect location for both of your starting buildings.
That first ferry ride with all the bouncing reminded me of The Philadelphia Experiment movie for a second or two there. That's a creepy story. From what you have shown us, both of these maps have been masterpieces. Props to whoever designed the maps. Is a small carpentry or small sawmill available on this map? Getting one of those two might be a good idea to get more money out of the rest of the trees/wood. It won't be fast, but it would be more profitable, wouldn't it? The sheep idea is good too, especially since you can put the animals on hills now with the new pastures.
BTW, u can start up the ferry by standing on the ferry, a good guess would be to get the poettinger alpine, its smal and cheap, and could get u going, maybe even a small sillage bunker , forage waggon can pick it up balling and making silage bales is a little expensive... sheep yeah a good idea, forrage waggon will speed up your work with feeding, watertanker ll be required aswell , there plenty of routes to go ;-)
Wow…I love the area, it’s gorgeous! So excited for this. Don’t get the conventional bailer, every time I’ve seen that it ends up being a waste of time. I know it’s only choice atm, but go with sheep, I say.
on FS25 i found the trees fall the same way the bottom of the chain saw is facing, I no not everyone likes it but i miss the competitive challenge, good to see it in 25

Great Video as always, you parked at the right spot at the sawmill but you have to leave your truck there and run up the hill to the building and hit the icon. Kinda goofy but it will accept them then.
I think you should get the bailer ,because you already have a mover to cut the grass and you have a windrover. The bailer will be the only missing peas.
Omg I haven't seen you since I think when your roleplay was back at FS19. Think you had just gotten a silage mixer or something. Damn that's crazy. Good to see you're still doing well!
An 8 ton oak or elm tree sells for quite a bit, but the mini sawmill would be your best first purchase, so you can sell planks and beams to the playground.
I took me a long time to figure out the sawmill on that map, you have to leave the trailer or whatever is holding the logs where the marker is, then walk up to the building on the hill, there is a bunch of lumber stacks but near one of the doors is an ! Marker that you press R at to sell the logs, its the same for log transport contracts, they should have put the sell marker for the logs by the man door where the logs are received
Hell yes! Dag and chainsaw back at it again. Love it! Whens the next episode? Hopefully they can achieve their goals despite fs25 being in a rather horrible state at the moment. And no those glitches are not just in multiplayer. The game itself is somewhat broken. Kinda makes me miss fs 19
I think you should be able to do the contracts but with your own equipment. Can we do a vote on this please? Also love the videos mate, keep them coming
Yay this is sooner than expected! :) Did you try walk in water third person? You will swimm, its so cool to add a day on the beach but there is of course no time for that now. :)
If I was you I wouldn't get the small baler, I would save up a bit more and sell the shed and put a small sawmill there and that will add value to the wood you put in there, if you want to do baling then save up and get a round baler and bale wrapper as silage is worth more than grass, I cut field 4 and 5 and I baled it up in 180cm bales but my wrapper couldn't wrap them and sold the whole lot for 12k but if it was silage I would be getting over 30k, if you can't afford a wrapper then sell grass because it's better as money in your pocket than sitting there doing nothing, and grass regrows, if you want to do animals then do goats because goats milk is worth a good amount, I have enjoyed all your videos keep up the good work
As much as I'm enjoying the Hutan Pantai series, I am very excited for this one! Also, I think you should be allowed to add mods to the series as they become available.
I´d say sell the Shed, go for the Baler, then if you can also go for a Tent or Camper as a Sleepingplace. Then you can look into either Field Creation, or Sheep as a new Incomestram
In WW2 the factory near my dad's house made Bren carriers, little armoured tractors. The local kids got one going but could not stop it. The hastily abandoned Bren carrier ended up in the river. The ferry and 8 cars were stuck in the middle of the river jammed on the thing for half the day. The kids were suspiciously quiet.
I don't know why they didn't add the cables, but the type of ferry on Riverbend Springs is a cable ferry. A common way of transporting something to the other side of a river without using a bridge.
I suggest doing the collectibles especially on this map. It’s part of “repairing the grain silo museum” and a pretty big constructible project. Also on this map they are tougher to find because they look like random junk
The sell point at the timber mill should work automatically if the trees aren’t strapped. At least it does on PS5. Also for whatever reason selling wood chips at the animal dealer seems to make me a lot of money as Ive been opening up the farm. Good luck!
There is discussion out there about lag if you are recording in 4K. Other channels are recording less than 4K and then post-producing their final product in 4K. I’m not a pro so I don’t know the terms. Hope this is helpful. Great videos!
If you save your money there is a sawmill for 150k. If you keep it loaded up and produce all 3 items it does, set everything to sell, I found you can make about 60k a month! Might be boring but definitely worth the money.
