Hi @Daggerwin. If you haven't figured out the trigger for the sawmill yet, it is up the hill at the actual sawmill. Noah is up there, the trigger is by one of the doors up there =) Love the series btw =)
deadwood contracts only require a chainsaw. You aren't required to actually shift the logs once you cut the trees. It's a decent way to make 1-2 thousand pounds quickly, and once you have better means of moving them, they're decently worth taking to a sawmill.
One thing to note, it's possible for the deadwood trees to spawn inside of other trees as of right now, so look at the tree tops for the deadwood, not the trunks. If you have one that has glitched, you'll never find it otherwise. I wasted like 30 minutes the other day looking for the last log, and it was inside a much bigger oak..
@@AtomixKingg I haven't tried yet, but I believe that you only need to cut the tree for deadwood. You don't have to cut it all the way down. So I think that if this happens and you can elevate yourself, you can just cut near the top to complete the contract instead of taking the penalty for cutting down another tree.
The workshop is across the parking lot from the store, the green garage doors. Also, you weren’t stuck on anything on the ferry - it doesn’t let you move until the gate opens at the end.
The craziest thing is that in real life wool is more or less worthless. It costs more in a lot of situations to shear the sheep than you would get for the wool.
I bought this game on a whim yesterday to play with my friend. I immediately played for 6 hours straight, and I am currently sitting at work on break watching this video, wanting to get back home to play some more.
New map. New game. Do contracts and expand. Quickly. Show off the map. Show off the equipment. Mod maps will be out before you know it so do contacts and expand. Thanks for the content.
I did this in a multiplayer session for one of the past games, basically started with nothing and earned enough to buy land and then started growing crops took out some loans and paid them all off. Ended up being the only person not in debt lol
Hi Daggerwin! Thanks for all of those amazing FS series. I've finally catch up with most of episodes for Hutan Pantai and was able to catch up with this survival challenge. There are few things I'd love to see in this series, please let me know what you think about them! 1) Veggatables as one of first crops to get. Carrots, parsnips and red beets have nice yield and price and even better after reprocessing them (as we have now those all small factories it's not that expensive). Also basic equipment is pretty cheap and loading all those crates looks nice and fun. I've not tried yet them in FS25 but in FS22 you could get small profit just by reselling crates regardless of their filling so I wonder if that's also true for FS25. Generally I'd love to see a series when you avoid base crops like wheat or barley for as long as possible 2) More interactions with Chainsaw. I mean mostly a voicechat talking while playing e.g. while driving. I know, timelapses makes episodes shorter, but tbh I don't mind longer episodes and slower pacing. I even prefer episodes like 1h over 30 minutes even if they containt the same amount of content, just without timelapses. Without tbh this series feels almost like typical solo series but you have a nice smart helper to speed things up. 3) More species of different animals. You have enclosure with 27 capacity, perfect to get 3x3 sheeps and when they'll reproduce you'd get then 18, 27. Nice match and it adds lot of variety. I know now is a bit too late, but that's something to consider in future maybe? Maybe for other animals. Or maybe it's possible to "cheat" it by messing up with save files?
You don't need to take the ferry to the shop every time, you can go towards that ferry and go north along the river and it brings you up by the animal dealer, may save time since the ferry takes a bit of time each round of crossing the river. Unless you're doing it for immersion I recommend the road to save time.
I'm good with you starting with the small amount of assets. We have all seen the tree cutting grind enough times to know how that goes. Enjoying the series so far. Carry on.
Honestly I really enjoy your contacts I come back from work hoping for a new video, I know you have been saying it's hard to make progress but I see it each and everyday since I watched you from fs22 all your episode...thank you soh much with the videos and I know the farm will grow and progress with time we not in a rush let's keep it going ❤
Daggerwin! You should go back to that stream/river that looks like it goes into the mountain next to your land. You pointed it out last video. There are some stairs that lead up to a cave with a hidden waterfall and a collectible!
Great vid, enjoying the series. Those enclosures look like a rip-off, it charges you 14K for the basic field and yet when you go into custom fence you don't get a rebate for the 3 sides of the old fence you aren't using.
At the bottom of the Factories tab in Construction you can build a miniture Sawmill for a measly 36K to start making more money from wood beams/planks or even wood chips. Found that out today and happy with it as the main sawmill on map costs 300K
If I'm not mistaken, that mower can be swapped out with a windrower at the workshop. Though I don't know how much that costs. But you started out with the windrower for the tractor so I guess it doesn't really matter.
You can sell at the sawmill. You had the right drop off point you have to run into the warehouse above and the sell trigger is to the left of the buy trigger.
If you go to the saw mill and put the car in the water, walk to the main building. There is a button to buy the thing, next to that on the left there is another button in front of a door where you can sell the wood.
Orange Fence Note: I think with FS25 you can toggle the visibility of the fence so turning it off would be more of a free roaming look for the sheep and you could get rid of the ugly orange fence.
U boys need discord ;) pointing with ur screen where to go lol, proper made me chuckle, if only there was a way to communicate 😂 Would be funny to c u both take different contracts n race to the finish
I don't know why it would be different in console (seriesX) , but before I saw how terrible it looks when you're trying to pick things up, I said out loud that it feels much better in this game.
I think because of how much more difficult the game is compared to 22,that you should be able to rent. Feel free to add caveats to it if you want like "if you return an item, you can't rent it again" or "max hp"
waiting for the new vid... (i have waited for ep2 since the start... also i thank yt algorithm for that, watching your coop survival fs22 one, switching between studying for exams and watching your vids.)
When your on the ferry you have to wait till the arm opens on land. It will keep you locked in place until it opens that’s why it looked like you where stuck on something
If you didnt know, the price list shows the distance to a sellpoint as well from the point you are checking from, so you do not need to check the map where is the closest point.
Hi daggerwin you are definitely making progress know this is the episode where it all starts to get better from here because you have know the enclosure built and the sheep know so they will slowly start to produce wool Maybe those type off sheep might make high quality wool which might be very profitable maybe with being a different breed off sheep I like the idea off using a bucket on the John Deere 30 series to scoop up the grass it gets the job done and the little grass cutting machine is a great start to get this farm off the ground your producing hay know which will bring in some money if you did sell some I think doing some logging or grass cutting contracts might be beneficial to help you and chainsaw earn money to be able to expand and buy more tractors and equipment which is desperately needed it’s a slow start but you will get there just like the old survival challenge multiplayer co op series it was a challenge But it turned out very successful series in the end with over 3 million in the bank account from starting with nothing so this is going to be successful but it takes time your on point daggerwin with your plans and ideas with this series and it will work out in the end trust me
Workshop trigger is in the building across the car park, it looks like garage doors. ie where your machines spawn outside the shop, face direction vehicles face turn 90deg left then it’s straight in front of you.
Every now and then I'm like... "I wonder what Daggerwin is up to" and every time its a dang mistake to go look.... because I end up buying another farming game. I love you but my bank account does not :(
just got an idea, if its posible add 1 more rule where you can only sell your product to a human player, if its posible :D that would be fun and hard to plan your produckt what other peoples need
i love the vids but i feel as though there should be more communication between the two of you like talking in discord you can do push to talk so you can talk to your video and talk when needed or just open mic it. it would probably make for an even bigger difference in views both sides tbh i love the content so keep up the good work but i hope one day yall decide to talk to each other in videos much love.
I didn't find that workshop trigger when I first played on this map. Another youtuber, Nebraska Jim, found it and showed where it was. It is a weak little icon by the barrel.
Guess you could do some silage in a bunker idk how much is a bunker or if there are small size ones in 25. I also didn't know that the bunker is faster then the wrapped bales at least in tye vid i saw
I think it was a mistake not getting that baler it would give you an easy way to transport the grass and give you something to do on top of the trees to help make you some money.
I think it would be nice for you and chainsaw to be able to talk to each other during the session. It would also help with immersion
I kinda like Chainsaw as silent Bob :D
like use discord or something
Yeah I agree
The workshop trigger is across from the shop, look east at the shop trigger youll see a building
I had bought the garage before I noticed it what a waste 😂
@SCUBASTEVE_1 you're not the only one
A lot of the triggers seem to be not easily noticeable 😂 saw mill trigger had me pretty mad
Yep the building across the yard from the shop. Green garage doors
A lot of people on reddit ask this. It's like daily question 😁
30:36 Dang! That was the shortest series yet! 😂
😅
Finishing on a high note tho.
:P
Hi @Daggerwin. If you haven't figured out the trigger for the sawmill yet, it is up the hill at the actual sawmill. Noah is up there, the trigger is by one of the doors up there =) Love the series btw =)
You do have one option for a single cash injection. Sell the barn! I don't know how much it'll realise, but something is better than nothing.
And they’ll be able to make that area arable
@@JewDew4or they can use it for productions, since the cheap ones are quite small its a large area to put some productions down at

Need a playlist for this series. Been waiting for this one. Keep up the great work!
Can you include ‘Multiplayer’ in your thumbnails?
It just makes it easier to identify the series.
Love your work, keep it up Dag!
Please can we get more of the survival series, i enjoy it so much, Been waiting for another one of these videos
I bought this game on a whim yesterday to play with my friend. I immediately played for 6 hours straight, and I am currently sitting at work on break watching this video, wanting to get back home to play some more.
I struggled finding that trigger for quite a while myself! Love the series
15:56 it’s the building right behind you lol very easy to miss if you’re rushing
New map. New game. Do contracts and expand. Quickly. Show off the map. Show off the equipment. Mod maps will be out before you know it so do contacts and expand. Thanks for the content.
The workshop trigger, building on the left, in front of the garage door at 18:22
I love the co-ops. Any plans to use Voice Comms? Perhaps that is a creative choice to not have voices mess up the video. IDK. Curious
I did this in a multiplayer session for one of the past games, basically started with nothing and earned enough to buy land and then started growing crops took out some loans and paid them all off. Ended up being the only person not in debt lol

Yeah, while I'll say the log and pallet physics have improved from FS22 to FS25... that doesn't mean they're *good* yet. Cheers!
I'm good with you starting with the small amount of assets. We have all seen the tree cutting grind enough times to know how that goes. Enjoying the series so far. Carry on.
Loving both the series I watch them daily
The work shop😂 it is if you are looking at the store it is a shed behind you
If you ans chainsaw ever do a co op i think u should use some of the money from the last survival challenge so u can have a mega farm!!
Umm they are doing a co-op
@ this is survival challenge so they have to start w £0
I had to google the workshop trigger, so you are not the only one who had problems spotting it. Looking forward how this plays out!

I'm not sure how much fun this game is, but it looks very addicting. You've peaked (piqued?) my interest.

You two should make it so you can here each other but keep it up luv ur content
Man i love your videos ,when i come home from school i wacth them love this new series

That John Deere sounds amazing
It's a good day when survival challenge is uploaded 😅
Orange Fence Note: I think with FS25 you can toggle the visibility of the fence so turning it off would be more of a free roaming look for the sheep and you could get rid of the ugly orange fence.
YES save the trees the big oaks are nice to have on the farm, shade for the sheep.
I'd say its a pretty solid start.
Hope you have the money for the enclosure when it comes time to sheer the sheep, otherwise that is just a breading pen.
Keep it up! loving it so far. I definitely didn't find the workshop immediately either. It's not incredibly intuitive.
Really liking the videos, very entertaining good job!
Considering the pasture fences, idealy the game should allow you to redraw the pasture even after building and store the length already bought.
🤣 It took me ages to find the shop trigger as well
Im new here, and boy i LOVE your 0 bucks episodes!!!!
U boys need discord ;) pointing with ur screen where to go lol, proper made me chuckle, if only there was a way to communicate 😂
Would be funny to c u both take different contracts n race to the finish
Dagger i love this series
I think at this point the loading wagon makes more sense than the small bailer, less time spent handling bales means you can get more done.
Oak trees has the worst collision xD, also rent a woodchipper and convert all trees to chip you will make money much faster.
a rule of the series is to not rent anything. cheers!!
You can remove the fences in the destruction mode. A bit like the cow pasture in your previous series. Should look better with the sheep roaming free
When your on the ferry you have to wait till the arm opens on land. It will keep you locked in place until it opens that’s why it looked like you where stuck on something
If you didnt know, the price list shows the distance to a sellpoint as well from the point you are checking from, so you do not need to check the map where is the closest point.
Great episode 😊
Hearing Chainsaw talk would be good
Hi daggerwin you are definitely making progress know this is the episode where it all starts to get better from here because you have know the enclosure built and the sheep know so they will slowly start to produce wool
Maybe those type off sheep might make high quality wool which might be very profitable maybe with being a different breed off sheep
I like the idea off using a bucket on the John Deere 30 series to scoop up the grass it gets the job done and the little grass cutting machine is a great start to get this farm off the ground your producing hay know which will bring in some money if you did sell some
I think doing some logging or grass cutting contracts might be beneficial to help you and chainsaw earn money to be able to expand and buy more tractors and equipment which is desperately needed it’s a slow start but you will get there just like the old survival challenge multiplayer co op series it was a challenge
But it turned out very successful series in the end with over 3 million in the bank account from starting with nothing so this is going to be successful but it takes time your on point daggerwin with your plans and ideas with this series and it will work out in the end trust me
Those tree straps got me dead 😂😂
i dont blame you for not spotting the worksop trigger scince it is further away from the main shop building than in other farming simulator games.
I fiend these videos with chainsaw!!!! Keep it up!!!
Workshop trigger is in the building across the car park, it looks like garage doors. ie where your machines spawn outside the shop, face direction vehicles face turn 90deg left then it’s straight in front of you.
Keep them coming! 😁
You should go straight for a tedder to make hay, it's something like double the value roughly of just grass.
Dagger! If you go to your washing karcher you can go in and push the machine 😮😮
He daggerwin, the trigger is right over there! 😜😂
29:47 The Welsh sheep were also in FS 22 as well from the start 🏴🏴🏴
the workshop is at the other shop icon at the mep. right beside the shop
I'm going to need this series to come out a bit faster. Every 3 days is not enough!!!
I didn't spot either while playing on Riverbend I figured giants decided to not have one on this map
Every now and then I'm like... "I wonder what Daggerwin is up to" and every time its a dang mistake to go look.... because I end up buying another farming game.
I love you but my bank account does not :(
You can actually delete the fens for pastures but still have the pasture
It’s crazy chainsaw never talks
Love the series!
But I wonder, where did you get that Mower from?
Damn, I found it, it was under "Miscellaneous"...
I think Vegetables would be a good alternative to getting a combine harvester
just got an idea, if its posible add 1 more rule where you can only sell your product to a human player, if its posible :D that would be fun and hard to plan your produckt what other peoples need
i love the vids but i feel as though there should be more communication between the two of you like talking in discord you can do push to talk so you can talk to your video and talk when needed or just open mic it. it would probably make for an even bigger difference in views both sides tbh i love the content so keep up the good work but i hope one day yall decide to talk to each other in videos much love.
Please do a live chat with chainsaw while playing, would be a lot better to hear you both
Do you or are planning on using anymods in this series
I can't wait to get fs 25
Could always use the pick up to carry more grass and other crops
I didn't find that workshop trigger when I first played on this map. Another youtuber, Nebraska Jim, found it and showed where it was. It is a weak little icon by the barrel.
I actually just learned where the trigger was on your video lol
can you guys have co-op chat on some of your episodes? would have been interesting to listen to💪🏼😎👌🏼
8:44 thinks thats the first time ive heard dagg use a the F word lmao
the pint you looking for is on the green buildings across the other side of yard
Does chainsaw not like talking because it would be nice if you guys just talked over mic
Even baby sheep will begin to produce wool.
Guess you could do some silage in a bunker idk how much is a bunker or if there are small size ones in 25. I also didn't know that the bunker is faster then the wrapped bales at least in tye vid i saw
daggerwin you and chainsaw should talk to each other in the game
He says he’s down if your down
If you’re at the store and run towards field there is a building that has it that’s in between the store and the grain west silo
Wouldn't be a Daggerwin FS25 video unless he comments on the wet tires... 😂 😂
Would love to watch this with you town talking in discord or something. Think it would add to it
I think it was a mistake not getting that baler it would give you an easy way to transport the grass and give you something to do on top of the trees to help make you some money.
Have you guys considered face cams and a discord chat so we can see you and Chainsaw interact live?
Remember to leave room for the sheep to have offspring, otherwise they just disappear.
There's a farm on the east side of the map that has a rice sapling greenhouse you can sell water to with a tanker trailer by field 65
