I have been playing this game for a couple years now and I also been watching your videos for years and to see you play a game Ive been into is just awesome, this game has so much more in it that you could seriously play and make alot of videos about it. I would enjoy that for sure, its very realistic and you will see that Gravity is pretty real also and the rockets can be in sections or “phases” on different parts of leaving earth or going to mars or the sun. You can also turn off gravity and turn infinite fuel on also if you want. There are so many different things you can do. The game will crash depending on what you do but if you want to go to the center of the earth or sun you can make a simple rocket go straight up and then straight down with Heat turned off and infinite fuel on. Anyways you Rock Grey and keep making Videos.
For me, this is peak Gray, and my favorite to watch. A game where he is given creative freedom and creates his own chaos. Rather than banging his head against a wall and spending a whole episode trying to complete one challenge.
The moon has such a weak athmosphere its pretty much like a nonexistant atmosphere since the solar winds would just blow it off of the moon keeping an actual atmosphere from forming since it has very low gravity to attract gas particles
Did not expect Gray to play SFS, since SFS is a relatively small game compared to other space games like KSP. Nice! Its finally gaining mass traction!!! Some tips: Since it looks like you are playing on mobile, rotate your phone or tablet so that it stands up. The thick middle line in the build zone is supposed to go down the middle, that's also why the parts are auto-placed like that.
@quas4rx eh let them. I don't comment for likes or anything just, to spread positivity or have fun at least the bot is telling people to have a good week instead of saying awful things
Gray just wait until you figure out how to mess with save files on this game you can literally escape the fabric of reality xD Used to play this game a lot and I got bored so I messed with save files to give my rocket like 9999999 thrust xD

As a veteran of 4 years on SFS, bro is cooking, trust me bro, hes starting decently and he doing a good job. He started better than most players, and he got decently far
I played this game a while back. Was really fun and could build some crazy rockets. Never could get the hang of actually getting to the moon, but did send some poor sucker to Andromeda once.
I tried to play this on a mobile version a few years ago but I couldn't even make a rocket, I wasn't putting things in the right places so whenever I would start a launch, everything would slide off my rocket and fall apart or tip over and explode. I watched tutorials but they had parts I couldn't get because you had to pay for the premium version to get all the parts :/ figures. But I watched a lot of people making rockets on RUclips, one did a whole voyage to Mars and landed rovers and everything, you have to use realistic triangulation and use the gravity (that sphere of influence of the earth you escaped at 16:30) to basically slingshot you in the direction of where you need to be next. So he had to go towards the moon, then use the moon's gravity to slingshot himself towards a point along Mars' orbit where the ship would intersect directly with Mars when it reaches that point (in 8 months or however long). And this is realistic to how actual vessels in space travel, as you've probably seen if you watched Apollo 13 and similar movies, they have to use the moon's gravity just to turn around and return to earth, because like this game shows, the fuel goes fast and you can't refuel once you leave, so there's no steering in space except sometimes small thrusters for slight directional changes, which have to still use some kind of fuel reaction to fire anything to cause the momentum.
Fairings are basically a lightweight protective shell for rockets! And it makes them much more aerodynamic, and if you want boosters (or other rockets cause you ARE that crazy) use couplers!!
as a sfs non dlc pro and a ksp normal player i uh. maybe try looking at the example rockets and make your rockets like those. it can make you have way better rockets. also some tips: hawk for 1st stage because of its thrust, valiant for 2nd or more due to efficiency. i never use kolibri engine because it doesn't have as much efficiency as valiant and it has low thrust too. capsules have astronauts, probes are for satellites, solar panels used to have a electricity system but now its just for decoration or pistons and etc. fuel tanks are obviously fuel tanks, stage seperators are for staging, side seperators are usually used for boosters but can be used for other stuff like most parts in the game. parachutes side or top slow you down if theres a atmosphere the rocket is in, structural parts are just for decoration, landing legs to help you land, docking ports to dock (they have a magnetic force to help docking when close) and rcs to help in transfer to other celestial bodies or spacecraft or dock to spacecraft. theres also faring and aerodynamics which yes. the game has aerodynamics. those will help.
Wait until he tries the same with KSP. Preferably KSP 1, as it has the most robust capability IMO. With some modding knowledge you can really break the rules too if you want.
I've been playing this game for years and it has evolved into a very interesting game now. You can do so much with it if you have the patience of course!
im an expert in this game, fairings are storage places, stage seperators are simply parts that disconnects a part of your rocket, and parachutes don't work in a vacuum (planets/moons with no atmosphere), and ion engines are the best option for low-gravity moons.
This is honestly one of the wildest things I've seen! 😂 Can't believe he strapped 70 rockets together, that's some serious chaos energy! I was half-expecting them to all just explode like popcorn! 🍿 Keep it up, Gray! 🚀
