@6:20, when the trailer leans enough to one side it will pinch the drive tires on one side locking them to the pavement, and when that happens, unless they get real lucky, the truck is going NOWHERE until a tow truck gets there to lift the back of the trailer up, or at least the low corner.

Hi Zach. I'm a truck driver from Holland and I thought I noticed the same blue insert in your def tank as we have in Europe. Those things contain a magnet that have failed me personally twice in the last ten years (so not that often) but when they do the def, or adblue as we call it, won't keep flowing. So if the problem occurs with the same vehicle, that could be your problem. Our dealer seems to have them in stock.
Oh and from one trucker to another: Allen you should have caught that one before it happened, especially on that side...

My family has farmed in the panhandle of Nebraska since the 1880’s. A small summerfallow wheat farm, with some other crops at times. I recently moved to North Central Kansas with my wife after being part of the operation the last 15 years. Income was tight and it made sense to leave the farm and it’s work for my uncle to tend to. This past summer he was diagnosed with an unidentifiable carcinoma and went from planning spring work, to be with The Lord at the age of 49 in just 3 short months. Some of my fondest memories were made working with him, turning dirt every spring, and rushing to get the wheat in every July. He loved your videos, and dreamed of starting a farming channel himself. I watch your videos now and can’t help but think about how many important life lessons the farm taught me. Thank you for what you do. I’ll keep watching, carrying on the legacy of one of your many proud American farmer viewers.

He made it all the way to AL and as he was turning onto the lane that led to the tower site, he hadn't widened his turn enough. His brand new aluminum flatbed, on its maiden voyage, twisted and was ultimately written off as a total loss.

Little low on coolant with the second truck you started. And the def nozzle soak in hot water and if you want to make it a little quicker use a brass wire brush. I would recommend removing the def injector on everything and cleaning the injection tips with hot water and that brass brush. Reason for the brass brush is so that it doesn't damage and scare the surface.

While an image doesn't communicate what led to that truck/trailer being torked off-road like that, it sure looks like a rookie-move. But then again, we've all done stupid things at one time or another... and hopefully, learned from it. And had hard-working, dedicated folks around us who are more willing to help get us out of a jam than they are to complain and criticize. BTW... Get a small bucket of water and set the nozzle in it after you use it and it will wash the DEF out of the nozzle and if it is doing that on off on off it has dry DEF in the little hole on the end of the nozzle so putting it in the water will clean that out and it won't click on and off on off.
I know this as I use The same kind of system at work I built a 3 inch 8 inch long pvc pipe with a cap on the end fastened it to the side of the tot that I pump out of and when done pumping then filled the tube with water then I put the end of it in that till I need it again have not had any problems with it in 3 years of use.

I must say, I bet as a farmer, one of the sweet and initially unforseen benefits of adding so much extra work to your day as a "farmtuber" is the fact that you get so many equiptment companies doating over you with free extended demos, food drops, and hell even helping out with your farm operation like Jason ( i think that was his name ) the Honeybee rep did, driving your grain cart, running other members of your farm here or there and just generally pitching in when youre busy. Iam sure that part is rare, but its still no doubt being a farmtuber gets you ALOT more attention from brands and reps than just being a regular ole-farmer. I know their job is to come out to farms and get you to try stuff and sell you on it, but it generally seems like farmtubers get ALOT more equiptment and more no-strings attached demo hours for the exposure to your audience. I say good for you guys... all the farms I watch are relatively small family operations with a max of maybe a couple seasonal adhoc employees. IDK when I see this I feel good for you guys. Ya'll work hard and deserve to get some perks. EDIT: Also after finishing this video... Jason is a pretty awesome rep. Honeybee better take care of him... you dont see many guys like that, he really goes far and wide in the scope of his job.

Thank God! I just read that you did not fire Allen. Saved me some ripping..lol. I have done the same thing after 15 years of clean driving. It happens and every driver beats himself up plenty for any mistakes. Those deep bar ditches are so stupid, especially when 2 lanes rds all around with no shoulders. A couple of scoops of rock would eliminate those totally preventable problems. It really takes a toll on drivers. Great video. No harm no foul.

We had the exact same thing happen last year except the driver poured the coal to it when he felt it lug down from the trailer going in the ditch. He climbed out with his feet on the passenger window.
Bossman said he was gonna take the tarp and have condoms made from it for his twin teenage boys because it never broke and we barely spilled any beans. Driver was relieved of his position and truck is being stripped for parts now.

LOL - Becky has missed her calling! She is a natural for being an advertising model! Loved the friends sneaking into your hot tub! You are a lucky guy to enjoy a partnership with such a great lady. My wife and I have been married for 34 years with 3 great kids (okay they are more adult now than kids). We all enjoy watching your videos and escapades on the farm. Keep em coming! As Becky said - stay safe my friend.

I must say Jason was a good rep for Honey Bee. Header looked pretty nice and innovative. Have to weigh the costs and is there any track record on the Honey Bee company much less their new header. Have to look at a lot and also it is not green but a really nice unit. Love Becky going in to get the hammer to "help" that speaker come off the mount. LOL. Be safe!

I do have one trick for the "Government Juice" as you call it. Back out your nozzle just a bit to get the flow going before pushing all the way in. A granule might be stuck somewhere or there's back splash in the narrow tube. It's usually worked for me on a truck though there's occasionally a day where i just need to keep it backed out slightly

To help prevent the def nozzle from clicking off, try removing the Little screen/filter from the top of the fill spout on the combine.

My three favorite moments. The Hammer. Looking around trying to figure out where to put the drill while still up a ladder (who hasn't). Dropping the screw (again, who hasn't) and the aftermath thereof. Even my daughter had a hearty chuckle.

12 miles isn't really that long of a drive, especially with today's equipment. but if it's the longest drive you make, it does seem to take forever. We used to have an 80 acre field 24 miles away. I've made that drive many times on the International 656 Farmall. I remember dad driving the John Deere 45 combine to and from the field as well.

I have a honey bee and really like it. When you mentioned the rock trap on the head it made me think of something I scooped up with it. I had a landlord riding with me one day in a field of his right next to a highway. We were talking and I wasn't paying very good attention when he said "what's that!". I scooped up a Bowling ball and it was riding in the rock trap on the head. The things you find during harvest.

Up here in the RRV beet farmers hire just about anybody to keep the beets rolling. Lots of ads from truck drivers (triaxle) that all have auto transmissions. There are always rollovers as even triaxles get tricky in the dark after 25 runs one gets lazy. We just hope people don't get killed, thick mud on the road, slow trucks. Beet season can be dangerous. I stay on the lifters or toppers in the field.

Jason stole the show! It's rare you see a man so knowledgeable and dedicated to ensuring his product succeeds, and when he could have been poking his phone he hopped into the grain cart and had a go. He's a man with skills and if you're going to pay for his time, he's going to earn it regardless! HoneyBee, get him up your sales chain and let him pick a team! He's the kind of guy who will refuse management, but love him up and teach him, and he'll better everyone within arms reach! Make your reps as skilled as the farmers, and feed it back to your engineers! You've got a good lad!

I also watch a few fellow agronamists from Canada and they swear by that head to use for all there small grains harvest. Looks like a sweet head once you guys got it set. That's half the fun of a different head like that getting to see all the different adjustments it can be made to do. Glad beans are going good and mabe Jason will let you try the head on a field of the corn that looks like it's carpet . Stay alert during harvest 🇺🇲☝🏁🍻
